Chapter 36: Before Storm

Eryk stopped Gaea by pulling the young woman's hand.

"What?" ask Gaea.

"I want to talk to you, "said Eryk. "follow me."

Gaea, according to him, saw Eryk's serious face, not a joke, he saw Eryk into his own room, he followed.

"The key" said Eryk.

"Why?" Gaea was confused even though her hand moved to lock the door to Eryk's room.

Eryk sat on the bed while turning on his television, he patted the spot beside him gesturing for Gaea to sit there.

Gaea exhaled and sat a little away from Eryk just in case the young man didn't attack him again, knowing he was weak with Eryk himself.

Eryk, who saw Gaea so close to her, brought them closer together that their shoulders were touching each other, "You know it's hard to know if it's far away."

Gaea rolled her eyes; it wouldn't be hard to apologize either, "What do you want to say?" ask her with an eye to the television.

"I want to tell you, I told the others not to leave the house or make food orders outside the house" Eryk explained, "and if anyone broke, then, be careful with that guy, Gaea."

Gaea considered Eryk's paranoia to be beyond normal limits, "Eryk, you're too anxious, you suspect your family is excessive ... How would it be if they heard this?"

Eryk was silent for a moment, "I didn't tell them to be suspicious of each other, I just said not to go out and order food from outside. Don't you open the door for strangers, even if it's my voice, I'll call you if I get home sooner."

"You just told me about this!?" Gaea was surprised, then angry. "You want me to be the bad one you mean, huh!?"

"Slow down your voice" Eryk complained. "Yes just you. Gaea, I have a strong opinion on this. Your apartment just broke into, I'm natural to say this because if the purpose of all this isn't me, it's most likely you."

Gaea was at a loss for words; if it was true what Eryk said, then what were they looking for from him? Is it possible that the plotters killed his parents?

Eryk got up, pointed under his bed, "I put my gun and my phone here, you can use it if you can't get to your room to get your gun. Calling the police service or something, there's just that on this phone."

Gaea only glanced for a moment then stared blankly at the television screen again, "I told you I'm coming with you."

Eryk shook his head, "Much riskier, at least here the number is more."

Gaea exhaled, "Alright" he said weakly.

"Look carefully, Gaea." Eryk warned once again.

Gaea nodded weakly.

Eryk who saw Gaea looked glum, tried to comfort, "You need not be afraid, you are not alone. There's Alex, Ferdinand, Alexander and even your best friend Lola. You're gonna be okay."

That's not what Gaea was worried about; don't you know that she was more worried about Eryk? "Promise me you're back. Please?"

"Now you're worried too much" Eryk joked with a small laugh, but Gaea didn't join in laughing together so he went back to being serious. "I promise."

Gaea gave a small smile, and ventured into gently hugging Eryk.

Eryk was surprised of course before then returning Gaea's embrace tightly.

For a moment they hugged.

"Eryk?" call Gaea slowly.

"Hm?"

"You hurt me."

Eryk then let go of his embrace.

Gaea let out a small laugh, and said shyly, "It's okay Eryk, just next time it's softer because I'm a woman."

Eryk sighed, "You've always ruined the mood, haven't you?"

Where maybe Gaea likes to ruin the atmosphere especially with Eryk, only sometimes there are always things that make them stop making out. He blushed thinking about it, "I just told."

"Hm."

Eryk checks his needs once again, his wallet, money, and cell phone contain an electronic invitation that Johnny sends him in.

Complete.

Eryk checked his clothes if everything was perfect.

"You're good-looking, man." Alex commented after getting tired of seeing Eryk keep checking his stuff.

Eryk picked up the pen, put it under his suit just in case he needed it, "I'm leaving, remember my words to you guys earlier especially you Alex."

"You always act as you please" said Eryk.

"I don't!" Alex defended himself. "If there's any it's your fiancee, Young Master Eryk."

As Eryk glanced at Gaea who was beside Alex, "I forgot there was a female version of Alex. Whatever it is remember what I said, Gaea."

Gaea nodded somehow to how many times today; eryk's sweet attention initially became annoying, he immediately pushed Eryk's back towards the car, "You can be late if you continue to worry here, you know, you can be anxious here, Eryk."

Eryk turned around, "I thought you'd stick with me to the party."

"You're going to leave, too, and there's no point in me protesting" Gaea said.

"Alright." a little weird, but Eryk was pleased with Gaea's mature attitude.

Rainer who looked at the two chatting finally spoke, "Are we going to continue chatting or get into a taxi? You have to save because I'm sure this auction will burn a lot of your money."

Eryk forgot about that, he had been to work to take his money, his savings to be exact, he always put his Swiss debit card in the club to avoid him wearing it accidentally. He went inside.

Rainer popped his head out the window, "Don't forget your promise, Gaea" he said.

"What do you promise?" eryk asked curiously looking at Gaea whose cheeks had turned blustery, her eyes narrowed in dislike.

Gaea could not answer him, not with Eryk. "Sir, run the car!" the thrill of it while putting Rainer's head into an annoyance is bringing up their date.

Eryk's eyes were rounded, "What?"—Gaea chose to dodge? Must be a special promise. "What do you promise Gaea, Rainer?"

"I think it's better you don't know Eryk," Rainer replied calmly. "There's something more important, right? Like finding out Katherine."

Eryk remembered his lover again, and pensive. Again, he let his emotions rule him.

Eryk does not care about Gaea's personal life.

Remember he already has a girlfriend, Katherine.

After he calmed down, Eryk looked blankly out the window.

Rainer just smiled faintly.

Gaea heaved a sigh of relief after the taxi left. Indeed, his attitude was a little childish, avoiding just that he was not wanting to fight anymore.

At Alex's side cheered happily, "Finally they're gone too! Wohoo ... !"

"You why Alex?" ask Gaea.

"I've been waiting for this rare moment for a long time" said Alex in the spirit of four-five. "You know what this means, babe?"

"Um .." unfortunately Gaea did not understand.

"That means we're a pizza party, Gaea." Lola replied to Alex's welcome again.

"Eh? Eryk said ..." Gaea.

"Don't be like Eryk, Gaea. He's too worried about us" Ferdinand said. "It's been a long time since fast food night parties, Eryk was always at home so hard."

"Pizza only, babe. What bad things are going to happen?" alex said without a burden.

Gaea himself was worried, was it good not to follow Eryk's advice? He wanted to protest, but three-on-one obviously he would have lost.

"I will prepare a drink" Ferdinand said.

"I prepared the place" said Lola passionately.

"I ordered pizza then" Alex said. "Ah, yes, ordering bread where Katherine worked first is also good!

They went inside to leave Gaea, who was still hesitant, looking at the gate of the house, "I hope nothing happens with them both.." after saying so, he went inside.
