Chapter 3: Will You Marry Me... ?

Gaea furrowed her brows. "You mean?"

"I want to talk to you" said Eryk. "important."

Gaea rolled her eyeballs; starting again this Selfish Master, fortunately this was not in the work area so she did not need to mince words. "I don't want to."

"Gaea." call Eryk sharp; don't try to test it.

But that has absolutely no effect on Gaea; who cares? The plane will leave soon. "I still don't want to" he said without a burden. "I could finally take a vacation away from you, Mr. Eryk, so where might I miss it."

How could Gaea have given up on a vacation to Shanghai for Eryk? If last night didn't happen maybe he'd have fun.

Remembering not to meet Eryk's arrogant face for a week makes the spirit in him rise again.

"Gaea is important." Rainer persuades after a long silence, usually he does not like to interfere, but after seeing the relationship Gaea and Eryk look heated to make him seduce.

Gaea yawns uninterested. "I don't care, Rainer" he said. "I've been played enough." continued ketus. "Now, can you go?"

Why is it so hard to find peace?

"You don't mess around, Gaea" said Eryk. "I just need a little bit of your time, and then you go to the end of the world I don't care."

Gaea thinks Eryk's not in a hurry?

An hour later Eryk has to meet Aizawa, and Gaea's childish behavior makes him blood-soaked as well.

Because who are they in this position too? Is correct. Gaea.

And again, why does Gaea always make the situation even more difficult?

Gaea was really angry this time, Eryk really hurt her heart. "I don't want to, now go or I call the security!?"

Eryk lost control of himself as well. "Don't mess around, my situation is more important than yours, Gaea" she said coldly.

Gaea felt it was a challenge for her, so she glanced back and forth around the security guards, and finally found the officer talking to a tourist, possibly giving directions. "Please, officer! He tried to hurt me!"

"Gaea!" call Eryk frustrated; this young lady has driven him crazy; she has spoken as calmly as possible but Gaea wants a ruckus?

Gaea only laughed even as Eryk began to be pulled over by officers, he floated a 'kiss' of love of victory at the young man.

A sweet memory, he could not stop the smile on his lips.

On the other hand Eryk could not do much, his hands were tightly locked by the two airport officers; unable to do this, interrogating was something he avoided, he was sure the two officers would do it, he said, he had to rack his brain to get out of this problem.

The meeting with Aizawa is also getting closer, he cannot spend time in the interrogation room just to answer silly questions.

If one mistake is made by him, he is sure to lose track of Kervyn again.

Eryk has to find a way! Hurry along!

Something that is easy but reliable and certainly beneficial to him.

His head came up with one idea of—ide that was crazy enough that Eryk was hesitant, but he had no choice, he had to do it otherwise Gaea would go carry the diamond for auction tonight.

"Take me off" said Eryk. "I'm the woman's lover."

"really? You don't look like that."—of course they won't be easy to believe.

"I'm going to show you, if I show you anything that puts my girlfriend at risk, you can do anything to me" Eryk said.

"She is indeed the woman's lover sir" said Rainer in defense after a long silence. "They were having a big fight to the point that Gaea was going to Shanghai because she was sick of seeing Eryk's annoying face." she continued, trying to hold back the laughter when saying 'shitty face'.

Eryk's blood was boiling, fortunately his hands were locked, otherwise he was sure Rainer's arrogant face had gone away and finished saying such a condescension to him.

The two officers exchanged glances, sending signals through their eyes whether they should be given a chance.

"Please, I can't lose him," said Eryk sadly—acting. "If I don't stop him from going to Shanghai, I won't be able to find him again."

One of the officers removed his hand from Eryk's. "Man, I understand what it's like" he said sadly, recalling his memories with his wife who was out of town.

"Sure," said Eryk excitedly but his lips grinned faintly; foolish.

"Alright we'll let go but if we see anything no-no, you'll know the consequences" said the other officer, freeing Eryk's still-locked hands.

"You won't be disappointed" said Eryk, who heard his wide grin, then walked back to where he had last seen Gaea, and breathed a sigh of relief knowing the young woman was still there, the corners of her lips were attracted as Gaea's green eyes widened to see her back here.

"Why are you back!?" Gaea was astonished; indeed there were still two officers but they stood behind Eryk not locking the young man's hand or handcuffing him.

Eryk took a deep breath.

'Think Gaea is Katherine. Katherine.'s.'

His blue eyes are open. "I know you're mad at me, Gaea" she said softly.

Gaea rolled her eyeballs as if to tell: just sober up?

Eryk narrowed his eyes in dislike; since this was beyond work, could Gaea casually trample on his pride? He was eager to remove the arrogant face of the young lady. He exhaled his breath.

Calm.

"If you go, my days will be different without you" Eryk began acting again. "Even when I woke up and you weren't by my side, I realized how empty my heart was."

Gaea's mouth gaped; what was Eryk talking about?

Waking up not on the young man's side?

Has Eryk lost his mind?

Eryk looked straight at the green eyes in front of him so seriously as if he could see the contents of Gaea's heart, the eyes that managed to make a red hue appear on both young lady's cheeks. "We often quarrel, possessive of each other, but we can all pass through, which indicates our feelings are stronger than that."

Gaea began to feel uneasy, not only did Eryk's gaze radiate lovingly to her as if she were a woman who meant so much to Eryk but the young man's beautiful words also melted his heart, once again.

Gaea knew this was absurd but he was too stunned to not fight back just following the game Eryk made.

"Therefore I want you to stay by my side" said Eryk, then he took something behind his black jacket, a small red box.

Gaea speechless— covered her wide-open mouth when Eryk opened the red box showing off a white ring with a red diamond in a triangular shape.

"Gaea Silva.." call Eryk gently, then kneel with one leg. "Will you marry me... ?"

Gaea could not say anything, the atmosphere of the airport became boisterous because of Eryk's sudden proposal, all stopped activities to see the two.

Gaea could not hear the cheering sounds of the people shouting 'answered' or 'yes' even her friends Lola and Ava who were behind her were not, either, his brain is still blank—doesn't believe Eryk is doing something extreme like this.

All women would want to be in her position, who wouldn't want to be proposed to in a public place like this?

Gaea himself certainly likes but this proposal is fake is not genuine, although he admitted touched by Eryk's speech.

Gaea realized, now confused, what he had to answer - being posted in a public place put a huge pressure on him.

'I have to answer yes or no?'

Gaea glanced at Eryk who was still kneeling to look for answers, as if understanding the confusion on his face, Eryik replied with a movement in his mouth.

N-O.

Gaea felt that refusing was not the right answer, she was sure that the people here would cheer her for breaking the heart of a handsome young man like Eryk, or that Eryk's plan made her ugly in the eyes of people... ?

Gaea ride pitam.

If Eryk wants it to fall, he will make sure Eryk also falls with him.

So Gaea floated a smile as sweetly as possible, then said. "Yes,"

Cheers and applause broke out at the airport after hearing Gaea's reply.

Gaea became uncomfortable because he had lied to all of them, even someone shouted 'relationship goals' or 'perfect couple'.

'Perfect couple', what?'

Gaea was still waiting for Eryk who was still in shock, then his green eyes involuntarily met Rainer's black eyes that were staring at him wryly making him wonder, but knowing being stared at by him, Rainer threw his face away.

'Did I make a mistake?' Gaea wondered in her heart.

Maybe Gaea should have a chat with Rainer after this riot ends.

Eryk came to his senses from the shock after feeling his shoulder patted, he turned his head through his shoulder to see who, of course, if not Rainer. Then he stood up, looking at Gaea who was smiling sweetly like an angel— made him realize that the young woman had already fought him twice. Twice.

Her. Eryk Enzo's.

There was no one who dared to fight him like Gaea, there was indeed Lola but it was not that severe.

Eryk is back to acting. "I'm the luckiest man today" he said as sweetly as possible, taking Gaea's right hand, then pairing the ring on the young woman's ring finger, somewhat surprisingly his ring turned out to fit on Gaea's finger.

Though Eryk hoped it would be too small so he could take revenge by forcing the ring on; it turned out that Gaea's fingers were the same as Katherine's.

"I can't wait to see you sleeping next to me again" Eryk said with a small laugh. "Even if you like to snore loudly anyway..."

Gaea shock.

What...did Eryk just make fun of him snorer? Just yummy! He never snored, as far as he knew, Lola and Ava had not protested about it.

Gaes doesn't want to lose. "I can't wait to see you sleeping next to me" she said. "Walau..you like to throw the wind carelessly while sleeping, babe."

This time it was Eryk who was annoyed, his brows furrowing dislike; Gaea thought that he could beat him again? Dreamlike.

"You're so sweet, babe" said Eryk, chuckling. "Including when you wake up hair like a lion is still beautiful."

Gaea clenched her hands holding back her emotions.

Who has hair like a lion?

"You're also a sweet babe even with drool dripping while you're sleeping, you're still so sweet." Gaea still did not want to give up.

Eryk also clenched his hands; he was never like that!

Eryk and Gaea cast death glares at each other; indicating no one would budge on each other.

"What a weird couple."

It was Eryk who ended the hateful gaze of the two of them.

As long as Eryk wanted to fight, he could not, he no longer had any other weapons to fight against as well, he felt enough, his image could be destroyed.

The sooner this was completed, the sooner Gaea was in his hands.

God knows how much Gaea needs some lessons from him.

"I love you" said Eryk softly.

Gaea was a little shocked. "I-I love you too," he said embarrassedly, he did not expect Eryk would reply like that, it was a fake speech but his own words were genuine. He did not think he expressed his feelings even though he was sure Eryk thought it was just nonsense.

"Kiss! Kiss it! Kiss it!"

Gaea's cheeks warmed up for a moment.

A kiss? A kiss?

Kissing Eryk? Eryk's?

Gaea glanced at Eryk shyly through her eyelashes—and bowed knowing Eryk's blue eyes were still on him.

Gaea wanted to say 'no' but seeing Eryk made her reflexes on the young man's sexy lips, because people's words were like this.

What's he supposed to do?

Eryk who had been watching Gaea was bowed in, confused; why did Gaea look so embarrassed? Isn't that common? Or... The young lady has never?

A brilliant idea popped into Eryk's head, the idea of taking revenge on the young woman. "Let's do it, babe" she said with her little grin. "We show them how much 'love' we are."

Gaea was shocked to hear it, a little annoyed at Eryk who seemed to say that, did not he know that he had not felt comfortable since? And is Eryk still not satisfied with the chaos that the two of them made?

Why do we obey the words of strangers? Who are they?

Gaea was about to protest but before she could get out of her feelings, Eryk had already brought himself closer to her. "Wha—!" not finished his words, their lips touched making his heart immediately want to jump out because of the touch of Eryk's lips.

Eryk's soft kiss makes Gaea's body stop rebelling, then slowly he closes his green eyes and begins to return Eryk's kiss that he always dreamed of every night.

Eryk's kiss was so careful yet so aggressive at the same time, reflecting on Eryk himself and exactly the same as what he had dreamed up that Gea thought whether acting or not; whatever the answer was, what ever, Gaea couldn't stop, he really enjoyed it.

Eryk ended their kiss, which was followed by boisterous applause from the people as well as 'congratulations'.

Gaea did not care at all about it, in her head there was only Eryk as well as their current kiss, even as the young man held tightly to his hand and then walked out of the airport, he did nothing, just kept quiet.

Eryk invited Gaea into his car as gently as possible, he also as much as possible held a wide grin on his lips appeared.

Gaea sat right behind the driver still drowning in fantasy in his head until he realized when Eryk locked him with his two hands firmly on the side of his head, he blinked his green eyes.

"You really enjoy being Cinderella, huh?" ask Eryk flat.

Cinderella—what?

"But the sad 'magic' of the Elves was over" said Eryk feigning sympathy, he took a strand of Gaea's brown hair, and with a wide grin he said. "You're Mine Now."

Gaea's body froze.

Is it too late to say sorry?
