On the high seas, a man who acts as a pilot or AB is now driving a tugboat to a dock. Since today no ship has come to buy coal, then some ship crews who got a break shif plan to stop on land to buy some needs that are starting to run out.

When the ship was leaning, some of the men walked down one by one on the dock.

"Hey who's the veiled woman?" ask one of the men.

"That's it, but since a year ago, I've seen that woman standing at the end of the pier at dusk, this is the third time I've seen her" replied another man.

One of the men who heard the story from his friend finally turned to the veiled woman.

A white woman with beautiful eyes was standing facing the open sea. A moment later, the woman was seen starting to move, but accidentally, the woman's gaze met the gaze of the man who was now silent like a statue. However, the woman quickly turned her gaze then turned around to leave.

"Hey Akmal, when are you going to stand there? It's like this statue of you," said the man's friend, making a man named Akmal wake up and immediately run after his friends.

"Gung Gung, I want to go to the jewelry store" Akmal said, embracing his friend's shoulder.

"Gung Gung, you think I'm a guk, call me Great, just any time you call my name," grumbled the man named Agung.

"Hehe sorry, Gung uh Agung," said Akmal while grinning.

"Why are you going to the jewelry store?" ask Great.

"You want to sell gold, you want to buy jewelry, leave later I plan to propose to my lover," said Akmal.

"Oh, you have a lover too apparently, come on then."

A few days later

The sky looked overcast, with rain pouring down on the face of a handsome man who was now staring at the open sea before him.

Akmal, as people call him, a sailor who works and seeks sustenance through Indonesian waters. In order to help the mother send her sister, and also to provide savings for her marriage with a woman she loved so much.

Longing is increasingly thrust into the recesses of his heart to the lover who has been knitting love with him for two years. And today was the day he had been waiting for so much because he was going to take his cut for a few days. The 26-year-old man intends to give a surprise application to the lover of heart.

"Akmal, get in!" shouted one of his friends who was also looking at the apparition of the terrible nature. Well, working in the middle of the sea, certainly has a big risk, especially when the weather is bad.

The tugboat, which is a coal transport ship, is now being swayed by quite large waves.

All ship crews are on standby to anticipate the possibility that could happen suddenly due to the current big waves, including Akmal.

"Remember! if things get worse later, prioritize our safety first new cargo and others," said Captain on the ship.

"Ready, Capt!" answer the crew of the ship simultaneously.

Long enough big waves hit the tugboat, lucky now the coal cargo has just been moved to the bulk carier before the water weather becomes not conducive.

Not felt, now the ship began to lean on the dock when the sky began to darken. One by one the crew of the ship that got the leave rations got off the ship with a happy heart, especially Akmal.

Because he was impatient to give a surprise to his lover, Akmal made the lover's boarding house his first destination.

The taxi carrying Akmal has now stopped right at a boarding house. Several times Akmal knocked on the door of the lover's room, but there was no response from within, not even a sound at all.

"Is Via coming out?" he muttered while taking his cell phone to contact his lover.

Just as he was about to hit a number with a name that had a love symbol on his phone, suddenly a car stopped in front of the boarding house where Akmal was standing at the moment.

Akmal frowned as he saw a woman who was none other than the lover get out of the car. Just as he was about to approach her, his steps came to a halt when a man got down from the car and walked straight up to the woman and embraced her affectionately. Akmal chose to hide behind a temporary wall to ascertain what was really going on between them.

Akmal's heart immediately beat fast, when he saw the painful sight before him. Especially when looking at the man who is currently embracing the lover is a man whose age is far above him, more precisely, the man is more suitable to be the father of the woman than to be a lover.

"Via," called Akmal who appeared from behind the wall when he saw the lover was about to enter his boarding room with the man who was mature enough.

"A-acmal," the woman's shock and reflexively removed the man's embrace beside her, making the man beside her frown in confusion.

Akmal who saw Via's attitude only smiled wryly. "Sorry, I came at the wrong time" said the handsome man with a flat face and left.

"Akmal wait!" call the woman make Akmal's footsteps stop.

"Akmal, don't get me wrong, I can explain" said the woman in a slight panic.

Still with a smile on his face, Akmal took off their engagement ring in front of Via and placed it in the woman's hand.

"Akmal, what do you mean?"

"I think what I'm doing right now is very clear, I don't need your explanation, and at this very moment I cut off our relationship" he said firmly and then wanted to leave, but his hand was blocked by that woman.

"No Akmal, we're not engaged, we're getting married soon, I beg your pardon" the woman whined with tears that began to run down her cheeks.

"Married?" repeat with a bitter smile. "Yes, I was planning on proposing to you tonight so that we could get married soon, but after seeing everything, I changed my mind. Forget about our marriage, I would not marry an unfaithful woman" Akmal said, shaking his hand until it slipped from her grasp.

"I go" said Akmal, leaving the woman who was now pecking with tears that had run down the river.

Now the night was getting late, but the man never wanted to move from a place that now seemed so lonely alone with a broken heart. The big waves were no longer a big deal to him. Even when he had to be happy, a bigger storm hit him again.

"I don't believe in women's loyalty anymore, it's so hard to keep this loyalty when a great opportunity is before me, but she easily betrays her loyalty to other men without thinking of me."

Since breaking off her engagement, Akmal's aunt began to introduce Akmal to some women, so that Akmal could open his heart to a new love, so that his old wounds from betrayal could be healed. Unfortunately, of the many women, nothing could make the man's heart melt.

Disappointment over betrayal can change a person's attitude in just an instant. Not his desire, it's just that it is a form of self-protection that appears unnoticed due to injury. Fortifying the heart so as not to fall in the same hole, that is the goal.
