The Aisyah Love Pier

The Aisyah Love Pier
Zafran

"Aisha, this very second, I canceled my sermon, you are now free to choose with whom you will marry. If yesterday I treated you in a good way, then now I release you in a good way."

Tears immediately flowed down the man's cheeks as he finished his words that made his chest so tight.

Everyone in the room took turns staring at each other as they were shocked by Zafran. Ainun who felt that there was going to be some serious talk finally decided to take Khaira out of the room.

"Zafran! What are you talking about, son?" Sofi's mother immediately approached her son.

However, Zafran did not answer, he was instead fixated on staring at Aisyah who fluttered with a blank look, not least Akmal and Ibu Sofi who now turned to look at the veiled woman.

Akmal's heart started beating fast. I don't know what his cousin's brother would do, but his feelings are so agitated at the moment.

"Zafran!" Sofi's mother tried to call her son, but the man still did not answer, he just gave her a smile.

"Aisyah," softly Mother Sofi now looked at Aisyah with a sad look when she saw a clear circle managed to escape her eyes and re-wet the veil she was wearing.

"Don't I already say that I'll wait for you?"

Aisyah started to open her voice, even her voice sounded a little quivering, her heart was again hurt after what she had been through all this time, although there might not be love in her heart yet, but he felt his old wounds were torn back.

As was the case 2 years ago, Zafran spoke quite lightly, as if the man considered himself to have no feelings, regardless of what he was going through at the moment.

"I think you're a sincere and responsible man, in contrast to those who talk lightly without caring about my feelings. But apparently I was wrong, you are the same," continued Aisyah slowly while bowed.

Like being hit by a wave, Zafran was shocked to hear Aisha's words. He did not intend to hurt the woman who has now become his ex-wife.

"Aisha, that's not what I mean, I just don't want you to wait too long, even I don't know if I'm going to get well or not. I just want you to be happy, Ayesha," Zafran explained.

Lina's mother shed tears, even her heart was pounding and congested when she saw what her daughter was going through. The middle-aged woman was about to step closer to them, but was restrained by her husband.

"Let them solve the problem, we do not interfere, it could be because our involvement actually adds to their problems. We better listen first to what Zafran wants," said Kiai Rahman.

"Happy? What kind of happiness do you mean?" ask Aisyah.

Zaftan looked at Akmal who was looking at him with a confused look with a frown.

"Akmal, marry Ayesha" said Zafran, looking back at Ayesha.

"Bang! ..." Akmal protested, but was interrupted by Zafran returning to speak.

"He is a good man, sincere, loyal and loving, he will accept you as you are" Zafran continued still staring at Aisyah.

As with Akmal and the others, Aisyah was also very surprised to hear Zafran's request.

"Zafran, what are you doing, son?" peekik Sufi Mother.

"I beg you, Akmal, Ayesha" said Zafran, staring at the two men in turn.

Akmal and Aisyah compactly shook her head in a sign of disagreeing with Zafran's request which was truly unexpected.

"I beg you," Zafran repeated and let out a rude breath. "Suppose this is my last request" he continued, leaving Akmal and Aisyah shocked again.

"Sir Zafran, on what basis do you arrange with whom should I marry? You yourself have canceled your sermon, then why bother looking for me a partner? Is that how loving I am in your eyes right now?" smirk Aisyah with her heart beating fast, her breathing was even now heard hunting.

Akmal who heard Aisha's words involuntarily felt her heart slightly pinched, so much did she love Zafran until she strongly rejected her request? although the man also did not justify Zafran's request.

"Aisyah, don't judge my request from the negative side, one day you will know why I asked you to do this" Zafran said in a voice that began to weaken.

"Dragon!" call Akmal when you realize Zafran's condition is starting to worsen. "I'll call the doctor" he continued, then immediately out of the room.

The room atmosphere is now back to silence. No one dared to talk. Especially at this time Zafran occasionally closed his eyes.

"Son, what's wrong with you?" sofi's mother asked so worriedly.

"It's okay, Ma. Zafran just felt a little tired and dizzy," he replied in an increasingly weakened voice.

"Son, please follow Zafran's request," said Sofi's mother now while looking at Aisyah. "Your mother wanted you to be my son-in-law, but now I really want Zafran's health, forgive this selfish mother, son," she said with tears that increasingly wet her cheeks.

Aisyah was increasingly overwhelmed with worry, anger, disappointment and sadness at the same time, but she was still so difficult to answer Mother Sofi's request. If only freed from the sermon, maybe Aisyah would not be this balanced, but being told to marry her cousin sister who did not necessarily like it would be very difficult for her.

Feeling that Aisyah did not want to answer him, Sofi's mother went in front of Lina and Kiai Rahman. The middle-aged woman again begged that they would bless Aisyah with Akmal. He was really scared if it was really his son's last wish.

He even turned to Shalwa's mother as his sister and Akmal's mother and again begged her to bless his son.

Lina and Kiai's mother finally walked up to Aisyah followed by Sofi's mother and Shalwa's mother.

"Son, whatever your choice, we will always bless and pray for you" Kiai Rahman said as she rubbed Aisyah's head, leaving the woman only able to look at her with teary eyes.

Shortly after, the doctor came with a nurse followed by Akmal. Zafran began to be examined, and the doctor asked the nurse to inject a drug into the fluid.

"What happened to my son, doctor?" ask Sofi's mother.

"Sir Zafran is anemic, this is common in patients who do dialysis, sya has given medication, hopefully the situation will improve soon," said the doctor and then out of the room.

"Akmal, Aisyah, marry now, at least that way I can feel better," Zafran pinta in a voice that still sounded weak.

Akmal was so worried, this time he really felt he had no choice but to accept his cousin's request. Slowly he looked at the mother who was now nodding her head while smiling.

"Alright, I will marry Ayesha," Akmal replied later.
