Xika frowned looking at Lang Jin's smile.

"That's it" said the wolf.

Xika felt Lang Jin knew something. But he doesn't know what. He refocused his mind. The Space Shifter turned back in his hand.

Lang Jin jumped. He wanted to keep Xika away from his wand. He believes the stick played a big role in Xika's attack.

WHUSHES!

Lang Jin managed to touch the Space Shifter. But his front legs were instead wrapped by the Space Shifter becoming pliable. Xika sends the fire element through Space Shifter towards Lang Jin. But it didn't hurt him enough. Lang Jin was still trying to take his foot off the Space Shifter and did not look disturbed by the Xika flames.

Xika sighed. Lang Jin's fur was really strong. It adds the wind element. And it's useful. Lang Jin no longer focused and looked distracted. Then he pointed his fist at the wolf's ribs, but Xika immediately pulled it back.

A second later Lang Jin's jaw grabbed where Xika's hand was before.

"Hmm..your head and claws can still move yes......"

Xika ordered the Space Shifter to change again. This time the stick was elongated but remained supple to the point of holding Lang Jin's body making the wolf unable to do anything. Xika took a few steps back to see the results of her work with Lang Jin.

He nodded his head quite satisfied with the result.  Then he pulled his fist and smashed it towards the unattached part of Lang Jin's body of the Space Shifter. It was quite easy, because Xika was the one controlling the Space Shifter.

THE DUAK!

Xika rained a streak of blows. And each punch had a blend of the four elements and made Lang Jin suffer quite a bit. The wolf no longer stood up straight and gallantly. His legs staggered trying hard not to fall.

Under these conditions anyone would think that it was Xik who won. Some of the wolves who were siding with Xika started to shout and asked Lang Jin to give up. But not with Xika. He respected the persistence and the betting spirit of the wolf.

Xika returned to rain a barrage of blows. But his control on the Space Shifter was reduced as he focused more on his punch. Lang Jin did not waste the opportunity.

All of its fur stood up instantly and made the Space Shifter loosen. He jumped out of the Space Shifter just before Xika's punch hit him for the fortieth time.

"Wow. I seem to lack focus."

Xika called back the Space Shifter and shaped it back into a stick. He takes an attacking position. Lang Jin on the other hand, although his body was in pain, but he took a defensive position and prepared with Xika's impending attack.

"Now, Xika! Use the space element!"

Xika followed Huo Bing's advice. He jumped at the black hole that appeared and disappeared under the gaze of many wolves.

He reappeared on Lang Jin's left side, where his defense was wide open. Xika thrust her wand.

THE TANG!

Lang Jin held back Xika's staff with incredible speed, as if he already knew where XIka was going to attack. Many wolves were shocked by Xika who disappeared suddenly, but they were even more shocked when Lang Jin was able to withstand Xika's attack from nowhere.

Unlike the spectators who were shocked because Lang Jin was able to withstand his attacks, Xika did not seem surprised. But his face was not as bright as before.

Lang Jin was confused as to why Xika did not seem surprised, but he tried to hide it.

Space split open and Xika entered into its gap, disappearing. A while later he appeared again on top of Lang Jin with his wand outstretched. But again Lang Jin was able to withstand Xika's attack.

Xika jumped back. He wants to ascertain his assumption. He disappeared several times and appeared on different sides of the body to attack Lang Jin.

The wolf did not manage to avoid all his attacks because he had targeted his blind spot, but the wolf managed to minimize the attack he received. Even a few times the wolf had given a counterattack and made eye injuries on Xika's body.

Experiment finished. Xika was sure of her conjecture now. He looked at Lang Jin. The wolf looked back at him. They stared at each other for a while.

Then Xika turned her gaze towards the audience. It was precisely on a wolf that was sweating and had a guilty expression. Xika stared at the wolf for a while with an expression that was hard to decipher.

The wolf that was being stared at constantly said an apology in his heart and Xika knew that from her sight.

The other wolves started to get confused. Why did Xika distract him in the middle of the fight? And why didn't Lang Jin attack Xika? Lang Jin looked as if he was waiting for Xika. And that's exactly what he did. A little bit he understood something was happening.

Xika smiled, but still with a hard to interpret expression.

"Aren't you going to say anything?"

Xika waited for a while but it seemed like her interlocutor had no intention of retaliating. He turned around and walked back towards Lang Jin.

"FORGIVE ME!"

Many heads turned to the direction where the voice came from. And they were quite surprised especially the wolves who had been guarding Xika when they found out who was talking.

"Lang Hu?"

"What did he do?"

The wolves started whispering to each other and guessing what Lang Hu had done.

Xika was speechless when she heard Lang Hu's voice. But he did not turn around right away.

"I'm sorry.......I-i'm forced.......A-dad said this fight would risk our family's good name......I can't.........Ii'm sorry......I-I know I was wrong..... Ha-this is all I can do......."

Lang Hu sputtered. He apologized many times. His expression was filled with guilt. Lang Yan, outside the arena, frowned. When did the kid steal the talk?

Xika smiled again. But this time Lang Hu could understand the meaning of that smile. A smile that indicates that they are friends. Xika said nothing. He walked back to the arena. There, Lang Jin also had a complicated expression on his face.

He and Xika looked at each other. They are back ready to fight. But a roar blew them away.

A wolf from the front seat leaped forward and arrived in front of Lang Hu. The wolf roared again and made Lang Hu lower his head. He even tucked his tail between his back legs.

That wolf was Lang Yan, his father.

Lang Hu did not dare to look at his father. His actions today have tarnished his family's good name. Especially father. Maybe he shouldn't have done this. Or else, he would have to do this to the end, not half-and-half like this. But he can't. He could not see his brother losing. But he also couldn't bear to continue lying and betraying Xika.

Lang Yan growled loudly. Lang Hu did not dare to answer. Xika did not know if the growl also included wolf language or if Lang Yan was simply warning Lang Hu.

Lang Jin who saw that sighed. He gave Xika an apologetic look. Then look at his father.

"Dad, stop. I surrendered. Let this boy be a part of us."

Lang Yan immediately turned his head to look at his eldest son, but before he could speak, another wolf had preceded him.

"No. The fight will continue. Xuehao, you still remember his judgment right? If Lao Yan* can't judge then you'll judge Xika."

And the wolf that spoke was Heiliao. It might sound as if he was impartial to Xika, but he knew that the child would not accept this kind of result. It's the same. He wouldn't have received the Alpha title this way. The fight must continue.

Lang Yan on the other hand was unable to speak. He stared at his youngest child for a few seconds before saying,

"We'll talk about this again later."

But Lang Hu knew his father's gaze contained disappointment. He knew it without seeing his father. He could feel that disappointment. He himself was disappointed in himself. But what else could he do? He was faced with two difficult choices. And he chose both. Thats mistake.

After that Lang Yan jumped up and returned beside Heiliao as well as Lang Xuehao. Xika and Lang Jin looked at him, asking for approval.

"Continue."

Xika and Lang Jin refocused their gaze. But they didn't fight right away.

"I can predict where you're going to show up next. Better not use the space element."

"Thank you for the information."

Xika waved her hand and she disappeared again. He appeared on Lang Jin's left side and gave him some wind spears. But it's not just him that shows up. Several other black holes also appeared around Lang Jin and took out cards.

The other wolves again widened their eyes. Especially those who have been playing cards with Xika. But they had not had time to discuss, Xika had answered the question in their minds.

Lang Jin made a mistake. He underestimated the card that Xika threw. And he received multiple consequences. He did not avoid the Xika card and preferred to avoid the spears that came. He let the cards come and hit his body.
