"Hehehe. But we've got the game. You should sleep here. Sleep long enough." 

A faint figure shrouded in black fog smirked.

"Damn it! If I die, I'll take you too!"

"A good determination. But unfortunately I still have business. We'll meet again. Well, now you have to forget this."

Along with that line that kept echoing, Huo Bing woke up while shouting. He looked at Xika and Heiliao who were beside him, who were looking back at him.

"What's wrong? Why did you suddenly shut up when Heiliao attacked you?" ask Xika.

Heiliao did not say anything, but Huo Bing knew the wolf was worried as well. Unfortunately, the sentence that had echoed in his head seized his entire mind. Without Huo Bing noticing, his breathing had hunted down.

The bird tried to slow its breath while recalling the sentence carefully.

"We'll see each other again."

"Now you must forget this."

"Ugh......" Huo Bing growled.

"Huo Bing! Are you okay?" Xika turned around and looked at Heiliao, "I told you not to be too loud! Why did you guys suddenly fight alone anyway?"

Heiliao just kept silent while turning her eyes away.

Xika's words sounded strange. Huo Bing closed his eyes. He tried hard to remember what happened, but his head refused to cooperate. Every time he tried to remember what he had forgotten, his head hurt like it had been pierced by thousands of needles.

"-ing! Huo Bing's! You hear me?" Xika waved her hand in front of Huo Bing's face.

Huo Bing flinched. He looked to his left and right. The pain is gone. But he still could not remember what he had forgotten.

"Ah, yes. Sorry, I think I need a break. Just leave me alone for a minute."

Xika helped Huo Bing stand up but after that he let the bird walk itself towards a room that now had no occupants.

Heiliao beside him stood up.

"I want to be alone first."

After that he also left, but in the opposite direction to Huo Bing, which was outside the Jade Village.

"Where are you going?" Shouted Xika.

"Clean your mind" Heiliao said glancing at Xika from behind her shoulder. Xika managed to catch a glimpse of Heiliao's expression. His face was filled with suffering, confusion, guilt, as well as great anger. It's complicated to see him displaying so many expressions at the same time.

Butwhy? What the hell's going on? Xika understood that Heiliao felt guilty, as well as angry at herself for beating Huo Bing to the point of losing consciousness. Confusion because Huo Bing was suddenly silent. But suffering? Why did Heiliao come up with such an expression on her face?

Could it be that he was suffering from having beaten up his own brother? Xika tried to convince herself even though she knew the allegations were very unlikely.

Xika turned around and found Xingli staring at her. The girl asked if she was okay or if she wanted to practice, between the two, but Xika shook her head in response. He had no idea what had happened to Heiliao and Huo Bing and that had depressed him.

"Can I take a walk?"

Xingli nodded slowly. Then walking in tandem with Xika out of Jade Village also left Di He a confused person who had to do what.

They walked around the academy, but that time Xika did not say much. Well, usually Xika does not talk too much, but not talk at all it is not Xika. Xingli. The girl patted Xika on the shoulder and gave a look Are you okay?

A few days had passed since the fight between Huo Bing and Heiliao. They agreed to act like nothing happened. Nobody talks about that anymore. Although at times Xika still saw Huo Bing contemplating, and Heiliao displayed a strange expression.

He wanted to ask them what really happened. But he doesn't want to force. If they wanted to tell him, they would have already spoken. If they don't want to, yes. That's their choice.

Right now they had just walked out of the Main House, after Xika had told Jing Wei that she was willing to participate, but Huo Bing and Heiliao would not come along, only herself and Xingli.

In the end, only Xikalah would participate. Xika was upset because of that.

"Damn. He's not the head of the academy, can't he manipulate this bit of competition? After all, isn't that what a chief usually does?"

"Well, wasn't your wish granted? You want to do everything yourself, right?"

"But that's not what I meant. I still need a partner."

"You said you wanted to do it yourself."

"Forget it."

Xika gave a rough breath while Huo Bing laughed along with Heiliao. It's good to see everything back to normal.  Xika glanced at Xingli to find out his expression for not being in the competition. There was no change in his face. Whether he comes or not is no problem for him. Well, he was coming because of Xika's request, anyway.

"By the way, Xika. You're not tired of walking around like this?" huo Bing asked suddenly.

"Hm? Why the hell?"

"Aren't you the one who said you wanted to enter this academy because you wanted to get stronger? Why didn't you ever attend any classes?"

"ah! A-anu.i-it. Oh, look! That bird is so good! Whoa! There's a rat!"

"Xika, even Miss Xingli knows you're looking for an excuse and trying to shift the conversation. To be honest, you're actually lazy to take classes led by those parents aren't you?"

Xika turned her face away.

"Ti-no really......"

Heiliao looked at him sharply.

"Well, okay. Youre right. Those elders were very old and the way they taught was very boring. Their talk is the best sleepwalker ever. I don't even need a minute to sleep while listening to their lecture."

Huo Bing made a mocking expression.

"Be quiet Huo Bing, you never took classes either."

"Heh, that's because there's no human whose understanding surpasses mine here." Huo Bing smiled proudly.

"Really! Xingli, you too! You haven't been to class lately either?"

Xingli simply ignored him like the wind. Xingli was indeed an expert at ignoring people.

They keep walking. Xingli and Heiliao watched Xika and Huo Bing argue and mock each other. Suddenly a battle was heard from in front of them.

When they arrived, there were already many people surrounding the place. Xika tried hard to push them forward. He heard some unacceptable protests, but Xika learned from Xingli to ignore people.

Up ahead, he saw that there were some people fighting. One was a formation user, while the other four were fire element cultivator boys.

The formation user was quite proficient. Even if four people attacked him from different directions, he was still able to defend, even counter-attack.

It seemed that the body of the formation user had been covered in some sort of invisible protector. Every time the boys launched an attack, a formation shield appeared and resisted the attack.

Although the boys worked well together, but it seems that they still could not defeat the formation user.

After taking turns to give the attacks without fruit, the boys retreated. They lined up neatly, seemingly about to do some sort of combined technique.

A BLAR!

The bodies of each boy were burned. They moved to surround the formation user then joined hands.  A kind of fire pillar was formed from each of the boy's bodies. Then each pillar is further extended to five meters.

The pillars of fire shifted sideways, as if about to fall, but eventually fused each end to form a pyramid of fire with the user of the formation trapped inside.

Suddenly Xika felt that she had seen the figure of the formation user. He tried to remember where he saw the figure. Uh!

"Shu Mang?!"

Hello, people. I'm sorry I haven't updated in the past few days. Honestly, I've been a little tired lately. A few days ago I had a fever. Thank goodness it's not corona, it's just fatigue from lack of sleep.
