"Ke-Head Pavilion..........."

The female servant called the newly arrived man nervously.

"What's really going on?" ask the man. He looked at the female servant who had previously underestimated Xika and did not get an answer. The female servant only let out sounds that sounded like 'A-anu......'.

Then the man turned his head and looked at Xika. Xika stared back. The man stared at Xika for three seconds and he knew that Xika was no ordinary person. The female servant had already revealed her identity clearly. Even the young geniuses in this city did not usually dare to look him in the eye, even if they dared not last long.

But now Xika was looking at him with a calm but confident look. He did not look at the man as someone who was above him but also not below him. He looked at her equally. As if their positions were the same.

The man thought for a second then in the fifth second he asked Xika with the same smile on Xika's face, calm but confident.

"I am the head of the Yuan City branch Pavilion. May I know what happened?"

Xika looked at the female servant for a while and made the female servant even more nervous.

"Sure." replied Xika with a smile.

"I just said that a sword that is only at the Low-Diamond level is not worth having a price of 200 pieces of silver. I believe my bracelet can crush that sword easily. And the waiter over there doesn't believe. He said he would be my servant if I destroyed the sword.

And now, the sword was completely destroyed. Can he be my servant? And do I have to compensate for destroying that sword?"

The head of the shop was silent for two seconds. Then he smiled and asked,

"May I know where you came from?"

Xika smiled hearing the question. He asked where he came from, not what his name was. He cares more about his background than his name. It seemed like the next answer would determine the attitude of the shop head in the future.

"Why? Does the Pavilion only serve people who have backgrounds?"

The man was a little surprised by Xika's reply but managed to hide it. But out of sight Xika . The man smiled back.

"Of course not. I just want to make sure. As for your first question, of course you can. Think of it as compensation. But it has to go through some process first."

Along with the words that came out from the mouth of the Shop Chief, the maid's face paled.

Xika nodded.

"No problem. What about my second question?"

The shopkeeper did not answer. He walked over to the sword. Then pick it up and check it out. His forehead was wrinkled and he seemed unhappy with what he saw.

He looked at some of the other servants who were also in the crowd.

"Why did this sword get here? Didn't I tell you before that this isn't worth it? And the price, 200 pieces of silver? Are you crazy? Not even monkeys would buy it!"

The servants lowered their heads with quite pale faces.

"I don't want anything like this to happen again" he said sharply. Then he looked around. "We'll talk about this again later."

Then he turned around and looked at Xika with a smile.

"Of course it's not necessary. It was just a failed product smuggled secretly by a servant." he said with a piercing gaze of a group of servants.

"Thank you Young Master for helping me. I promise I'll compensate you."

Xika nodded with a satisfied look. But he's not done yet.

"Ah, by the way. This female servant has always looked at me with a disdainful gaze since I was on this floor. Is that really how the servants of the Pavilion are? With one of the advantages of this Pavilion is its service. It seems I was wrong." Xika said as she shook her head. "Will the Pavilion not compensate?"

Inwardly, the Shop Leader cursed. Xika already got the waiter, what else does she want?

"Based on the goddamn waiter! No need to drag the company into your mistakes!"

"Ah, of course. We are willing to compensate, of course. What compensation does Young Master want?" asked the shopkeeper with a smile still hanging on his face. Although he was upset, he still had to serve Xika well.

"I'll think about it later" Xika said as she walked away.

The Head of the Shop had his men disperse the crowd then followed Xika and walked beside her.

"I'm Gong Tao. May I know the name Young Master?"

Xika turned her head for a while then turned her head.

"YXing."

After that he walked back. Xika's attitude was very clear. He would not tell me his name. Just the price.

"About what is Young Master Xing looking for?" gong Tao asked still with a smile on his face even though Xika answered him poorly.

"Just look around. Who knew the Pavilion had a defective product again."

The Head of the Shop swore once more in his heart. But he still continued to smile, even though it was just a dry smile.

It was hard to guess what Xika was looking for. Xika does not show excessive interest in things. He only caught a glimpse of the objects on display and then walked back. That made it difficult for Gong Tao to guess Xika's identity.

If he is interested in a weapon, Gong Tao only remembers who the genius who used the weapon and matches its characteristics with Xika. Thus he would know Xika's identity. But Xika showed no interest at all which made him more dizzy. And again, as he remembered there was no genius surnamed Xing in this city.

Xika was done walking around. He stopped near the stairs connecting the second and third floors. Gong Tao waited for a while but Xika did not speak. Finally he again started a conversation with Xika despite being a bit confused.

"How is the quality of our products Young Master Xing?"

"Lumayan."

Then Xika looked to the left right. Then he brought his head closer to Gong Tao.

"Can we talk in a more closed place?"

Gong Tao was curious as to what Xika wanted to talk about. He did not delay anymore and immediately took Xika to his personal space.

"Ah, right too. What the hell am I doing?" ask her while laughing and patting her eel. Then he went out to get some food and drinks.

Heiliao came out from under his cloak while Huo Bing formed his body. The two sat on Xika's shoulders.

"How's my acting?"

"Pftttt...is quite entertaining." Huo Bing said with a laugh.

"But it didn't work out completely. He still does not know your identity. His attitude will change if he knows your identity."

"Not necessarily."

Heiliao was silent for a moment. Then nodded his head in agreement with Xika. Not necessarily Gong Tao will change his attitude despite knowing Xika's identity.

Huo Bing squinted his eyes for a moment.

"It seems he's not just out to bring food and drinks."

Xika raised her eyebrows.

"What did he do?"

"What else? Investigate your identity of course."

"But he should know in a few days, right?"

"A few days what. He's reading a report on your current identity."

"What's? That fast? How come?"

"Heh. That's the power of the Pavilion that we should be wary of."

"He's coming."

After saying that Heiliao re-entered the Xika robe while Huo Bing removed his body.

"Ah, sorry to wait. Please-please" Gong Tao said as he placed a tray containing food and drinks.

Xika took some cake then ate it. It seemed like Gong Tao already knew his identity. Although his attitude had not changed, there was something in his view that had changed.

"What does Young Master Xing want to talk about?"

Xika did not answer him directly. He drank a special kind of lemon water for the cultivators provided.

"Mr Gong has already investigated my identity, shouldn't you already know what I want to ask?"

This time Gong Tao did not have time to hide his surprise.

"Sa-I don't understand what Young Master Xing is talking about."

"Hmm...still not want to admit yes.." said Xika while nodding.

Gong Tao was getting panicked.

"Well, you've been investigating my identity and now don't want to confess. I don't think I'm gonna visit this place again."

Xika ate a few more cookies then got up and prepared to leave the room.

"A-ah, Young Master Xing, forgive us about that. We have to investigate the identity of our customers to ensure security."

"Heh. Finally confessing too."

Gong Tao grew even more awkward because of Xika's words.

"How about I give Young Master some compensation? What does Young Master want?"

"I'll think about it later. Remember that you still owe me two compensations."

Gong Tao smiled stiffly.

"alright. You already know my identity. You should've guessed what I wanted to talk about. I want to know about my uncle. If there's a better location."

Gong Tao had wanted to make a face 'already expected' but did not so out of fear that Xika would protest and ask for compensation again.

"We'll try to investigate."

"alright. Do I have to pay a down payment? How many?"

Gong Tao was silent. He was confused as to how much to say.

"No down payment needed. Let's just say compensation from us, how?"

"Wouldn't my compensation be reduced, would it?"

Gong Tao returned.

"Of course not."

Xika sighed.

"alright. When are you gonna get the news?"

"About three days. After that we can discuss further."

"alright. I'll be here in three days."

Xika finished her drink then got up. He left the room with Gong Tao following him.
