The Card Cultivation System

The Card Cultivation System
CCS-229

Amidst that silence, the sound of Liu Shang's clapping sounded very clear. People looked at him strangely, but no one applauded.

"Anu.....actually at what level is the man's cultivation?" xika asked someone who was standing not far from the arena.

"Eh?" The man was surprised. He still could not believe that Xika, who was just a Disputing Antichrist, had managed to defeat Ma Dong, who had fought for many years in this arena. But looking at the foam coming out of Ma Dong's mouth, it was clear that Ma Dong had indeed lost.

Moreover, the Arena Supervisor did not say anything which meant that this brat in front of him had indeed won honestly. And when that thought came, the way she looked at Xika suddenly changed. In her eyes, Xika was no longer a Disputant Antah Boy, but rather a monster disguised in a human form.

"T-level 7......"

Hearing the man's reply, Xika frowned confusedly. But the man thought Xika was not satisfied with the answer, so without saying anything else he ran away as fast as he could.

"Squeaky. Am I not also on the 7th floor? Why didn't the man's attack have any effect on me?"

"Well, you don't equate yourself with ordinary cultivators do you? You're the only human who has a lot of dantian."

"Eh? Did ya? Well, I'm so embarrassed hehehe......"

"Fuckin' shit! I didn't mean to praise you. What I mean is that your level is different from that of a cultivator like the man just now. Moreover, you already faced Hua Zhantian who was at the top of the Qi Forming. Of course just mere Foming Qi 7 won't be able to do anything to you."

"Yes, yeah. So that means I'm special, right? Thank you, really."

Across the arena, veins appeared around Huo Bing's neck. Those who don't know him may think the bird is trying to defecate.

When the man that Xika had questioned earlier left, the crowd began to recover from their shock. And whispers of disbelief were immediately heard. Everyone agreed that Xika won purely because of luck. Ma Dong underestimated Xika so much that he lost. Maybe Xika was stronger than she looked, but still she could not possibly win against Ma Dong if she fought fair.

With such thoughts in mind, the whispers began to turn into yells that insulted Xika for cheating.

"Stupid! Cheating what? If he loses because he is not vigilant, it is his own fault. Don't blame Xingli, dong!"

Liu Shang shouted in the middle of the crowd. But his voice was covered by insults aimed at Xika.

The Arena Supervisor himself did nothing to see the audience start to noise. He only asked who else wanted to challenge Xika and allow them to advance into the arena.

"Me! I'm sure Ma Dong lost because he was less vigilant. Let me show you your real place as a newcomer!"

"Me too! I can't stand still seeing the newcomer sitting arrogantly on top of the arena!"

"I will avenge Ma Dong's defeat!"

The spectators started to fuss. Some of them were cultivators who did have some abilities. And they start scrambling forward to defeat Xika and teach her a lesson.

Arena's supervisor pointed at a spear-headed man. He was the one who first volunteered to challenge Xika. The man came forward with cheers of support for her.

After the Arena Overseer gave out a cue, the spear-headed man immediately lunged forward. He thrust his spear several times and all of them chanted Xika's vital point.

Xika was about to make some kind of wind protector when she recalled the words Heiliao forbade her from using Qi outside the body. So he dodged the man's spear while occasionally fending off by hitting a part of his stick.

"Heh. Hows it? Not so great after your abilities are revealed?"

Xika chose to ignore the spearheaded man. He closed his eyes for a moment. Then when he opened it again, his hand was already grasping a stick.

The wand was made of qi and it was unclear what elements were contained within it. Xika was intentionally like that. He made a pure stick with his qi alone, not adding any elements. He tried not to display his strength in the slightest.

When he saw the staff Xika was holding, the spear-headed man was shocked. Just a moment ago it was clear Xika was holding nothing. But in such a short time he could make a spear using only his qi? The man's premonition said that Ma Dong's defeat was not due to luck. But he refused to be wary of this boy in front of him.

The man tightened his grip on his spear. He turned his spear several times before attacking Xika again.

This time even before the man managed to get close, Xika had already repelled her attack. He turned his wand and used the opposite part to poke the spearman's chin. The man dodged but Xika's attack still managed to graze the man's cheek.

The spear-wielding man immediately brushed aside Xika's staff and stabbed Xika with the back of his spear. Then, a shootout between the stick and the spear occurred.

Supposedly, the man had the advantage in terms of distance because usually the spear was a little longer than the stick because it had its spear eyes. But Xika made her staff to be the same length as her opponent's spear, so the distance advantage was wiped out.

The rest, just depends on the ability of each using his weapon. The man's spear eyes started burning.

"It seems I have to be serious" he said bluffing.

"Good, Luo Han! Teach him a lesson!"

The man again twirled his spear to make several fire circles at a glance. Not to be outdone, Xika also twirled her staff while trying to find a gap from her enemy. Apparently, Xika was just spinning an ordinary stick, but vaguely, every time Xika's wand turned, the air seemed to move away.

NAH!

WUS!

A SHOCK!

BUKS!

As Xika's scepter and the man's spear clashed against each other, slowly the blazing flames in the spear's eyes began to dim.

"What-what?!" The man was surprised to see his fire begin to dim. No matter how much qi he gave, the fire in his spear eyes refused to grow. He gritted his teeth. He can't lose here. Not on a Disputant Antichrist boy who wins just because of luck.

"HEY!"

He lunged with all his might, hoping to injure Xika and defeat her in one fell swoop. Unfortunately, Xika tilted her body easily and hummed the man's legs. Then he gave a final stab and the man fell out of the arena.

Bruk!

"E-uh?!" The man was confused to see himself no longer in the arena. And the remarks of the next Arena Supervisor managed to hysterically make him.

"Luo Han lost! Who else is going to challenge?"

"NO!"

Some people patted Luo Han's back trying to comfort him but the man still shook his head in disbelief.

"No! This is impossible! I refuse to admit this! You must be cheating!"

The Arena Overseer frowned at Luo Han's words.

"You mean I'm being unfair? Or do you mean I'm so incompetent that I can't see the cheating unfolding before my own eyes?"

"But-no....but....."

Taps!

A girl patted him on the shoulder.

"Silent. I'll beat it for you."

"I, Luo Shan, challenge you!" said the girl while looking at Xika.

Normally in this kind of situation Xika would answer the girl's challenge while mentioning her name as well. But if Xika mentioned her name now, Liu Shang would know who she was and it would not be exciting. So Xika just lowered her head politely while moving her hand allowing the girl to climb the arena.

The set!

Luo Shan jumped into the arena. He looked at Xika fiercely.

"You don't deserve this much attention. You don't deserve to beat my brother. No newcomers should be standing here. I'll teach you where you really are."

The girl recalled her experience of first joining the fight in this arena. Because in this arena there were almost no rules, he lost his first game miserably. All that could stand in that arena was a veteran who had fought so many times that it was worth looking at everything from above.

Xika who was just a newcomer simply did not deserve to be up there. He must defeat Xika as soon as possible and return the man to the bottom, where he should be.

Shuts!

From his spatial ring, Luo Shan took out a sword that was quite charming, matching his appearance.

"Let my sword send you back to your place" said the girl with a burning desire.

Xika just stared at Luo Shan in silence. He gripped his staff quite firmly, then his staff turned into a sword of the same length as Luo Shan's sword.

"Ukh!" The girl looked annoyed that Xika changed her weapon to be the same as her.

"Huh! The fake ones will not be able to defeat the real ones! Let's see how strong you can hold on to that sword."

Xika twirled her sword did not reply. He could not bear to tell the girl that he could make dozens of swords like this all day. Because his dantian was more than an ordinary person, the qi capacity he possessed exceeded the average qi that cultivators possessed.

"Damn!"

The girl kicked the floor and instantly slashed her sword. He did not stop after seeing Xika manage to dodge his attack. His sword kept swinging around and around hoping to hit Xika.

Xika had to admit that this Luo Shan was superior to her brother. The girl attacked well and only had a slight gap. But Xika was no ordinary person either. Among the many weapons, it was the stick he used most often.

But the sword was the most common weapon among cultivators. His sword skills are not inferior to his skill at playing sticks.

After receiving the attack several times (Xika tried to give face to the girl by receiving her attacks several times without giving a reply), Xika started to retaliate.

TRINGS!

TRANGS!

WUSH OFF!

SING!

Luo Shan barely managed to avoid Xika's attack. Her hair was cut off by a few strands and it made her even more annoyed.

"Hey! You don't know that hair is a woman's life?! How dare you cut my hair!"

'If you don't want your hair cut, don't fight.' Xika wanted to say that. But it seemed like it would only make Luo Shan even more annoyed and infatuated. At that time it would be even more difficult to defeat him without giving him any severe injuries.

To be honest, Xika was trying to defeat this girl without hurting her one bit. But it was quite difficult because this girl attacked him ferociously. If he did not use the sword, Luo Shan would definitely protest on the grounds of disrespecting women or such.

He was quite moved to see Luo Shan come forward to avenge his brother. Of course, the girl sucks for constantly saying Xika is not worth standing here, but she appreciates their brotherly bond. That was why he was trying to defeat Luo Shan without hurting him.

Luo Shan slashed his sword again, but again he only managed to slash the wind. Xika managed to dodge nimbly, frustrating the girl for not being able to touch her at all. All he could do was touch Xika's sword.

"Damn it! Aren't you a man? Do you only know how to avoid it?"

Damn girl, yoke Xika in the heart.

It started moving forward. He changed his mind a little, a little bit to beat the girl. The Xika sword moved again, this time in a different way.

Luo Shan who was surprised by Xika's change in fighting style was unable to withstand Xika's barrage of attacks. Scratch wounds look quite a lot around his skin. Every time Xika's sword scratched Luo Shan, the audience cheered him 'Boooo'.

"Hey! You should be gentle with a girl. How can you attack me so fiercely?"

'Basic crazy!' Now Xika no longer intends to hold back. He didn't care if the girl was hurt or not. In fact, he was eager to sew up the girl's mouth.

Instead of softening, Xika's attack grew even more violent. To Luo Shan, Xika's attacks seemed as if they were coming from all directions. Due to Xika's rapid movements, Luo Shan became confused as to where Xika was. Unknowingly, the girl gave her back to Xika.

'Thank God that I didn't hurt you bad enough.' whispered Xika in her heart before kicking Luo Shan's back hard and knocking the girl out of the arena.

Bruk!

"Ouch!" Luo Shan groaned. Then he looked around her while widening his eyes, his expression more pleasant to look at than his brother, "Bas disgusting! Are you a man or not? How dare you attack from behind! And again, kick a girl's back! Is that something a man deserves to do?"

Xika had already guessed that Luo Shan would back gush at her with the girl's spicy mouth. So after kicking Luo Shan, Xika turned her body around and took care of her ears.

Huo Bing, who had already turned back into a human, glanced at the girl in annoyance then spoke.

"Wack girl, you better use your sword more often than your mouth."

Before Luo Shan could reply, a melodious and seductive voice rang out from behind him and made the girl put on a wide smile.

"Gosh~ That's not a thing worth saying to a girl, you know."

"Jie Hu!" said Luo Shan girang.

Qing Hu walked leisurely but managed to attract a lot of attention. Huo Bing looked at him lazily. He wondered before, who taught this girl to his head was troubled, apparently this mad fox.

"Jie Hu!" this means Kak Hu if translated into Indonesian. Jiejie ( ⁇ ) means big sister. This call can be used both by men and by women.

I want to inform you a little bit, after looking at a few chapters I found something changed. The use of italics or italics sometimes like error. Sorry, I just found out too. It seems like this matter is indeed from the mangatoon side.

Some of the sentences I wrote using italics turned into asterisks (*).

For example: Card Cultivation System.

But changed to: *Card Cultivation System*

So please understand if there is a sentence that uses an asterisk, it means using italics. I've tried to fix some, but it looks like there's still something missing. Going forward, I will try to do better. Thank you for supporting the Card Cultivation System to date.
