Xika ate the pill Xingli gave her then sat down cross-legged and absorbed the pill.

Xika needed an entire day to absorb the medicinal properties of the pill, so Xingli spent his time with all sorts of things. Starting from practicing the sword, thinking of other plans when there are, then sitting still and doing nothing until finally falling asleep.

Xingli finally woke up when he heard a shout.

"XINGLI IS XIKA'S WOMAN!"

He got up and immediately drew his sword into Xika's neck which was only responded with a smile by Xika.

"Finally you wake up and the princess sleeps. Thanks to your little one, now my body has recovered and I have reached the next level. Now let's go get some food or do you still want to take a nap? I don't mind waiting."

Xika reached Qi Gathering level 9 a few days before, when he had just finished fighting against the space tiger. But since he was covered in wounds, he was not very aware of it.

After absorbing the remaining energy of the pill Xika broke through to the next level. He did the whole process for about twenty hours. Xika opened her eyes and felt a change in her.

And he found Xingli who was asleep. Xika felt somewhat guilty for making the girl wait for quite a long time. So he let the girl sleep for a while longer.

He waited for the girl to wake up by herself. But four hours passed and the girl still did not wake up. The day was already bright enough to travel and they could leave now. So Xika was intending to wake Xingli up.

But he felt a bit uneasy touching the girl even though for a good cause. Xika still remembered when she was about to help Xingli by touching his body, Xingli pointed his sword towards Xika. From there Xika realized how Xingli did not want to be touched by her body.

And it made her even more hesitant to wake Xingli up by touching him. So Xika chose to wake him with a shout. But the usual screams are useless. Whatever Xika said did not make the girl wake up. Finally Xika shouted the thing that had been in her head since.

And the girl got up by drawing her sword at Xika.

Xika saw Xingli's eyes were still a bit sleepy so she asked if Xingli still wanted to shut up for a while, but Xingli refused.

So they went on a journey in hopes of finding the strange animals.

After walking for about an hour, Xika found the Black Scorchpion attacking her.

He was quite happy to find the animal, but still wary of being surrounded suddenly again as before.

Xingli simply nodded hearing Xika's words. He drew his sword and looked around.

And sure enough, before long around fifty Black Scorchpion were surrounding them.

He flew his cards to slaughter the Black Scorchpion far enough away and used the Space Shifter for the nearby Black Scorchpion. Sometimes he would use his element. Sometimes coating it on cards, sometimes overlaying it on Space Shifter.

While Xingli was just watching from the side with an expressionless flat face.

Not long after, Xika managed to kill all the Black Scorchpion present. He killed them carefully enough not to destroy their flesh.

"Good! With this much meat you shouldn't have to worry about food for the next month."

Xingli looked at Xika getting sharper. He knew the man was doing this intentionally.

"................................eat."

"Then help me."

And Xika threw some Black Scorchpion towards Xingli who landed not far away from her.

"Wash them, then separate the skin, the flesh, and the tail. After that wash the meat again just give it to me."

Xingli stared at the Black Scorchpion on the ground silently.

Xika sighed seeing that. There's no water here. So Xika makes water using her qi and holds it in a container.

Maybe some of you are asking. If Xika can create water why doesn't he create water and drink it?
