Xika looked at Heiliao's departure. Then he looked at Huo Bing.

"Now what are we going to do?"

"Eitherway. There are many options. Practice with me, practice with wolves, practice making weapons, practice pill-making, practice-"

Xika still did not understand but Huo Bing asked her to move some distance away. The bird confirmed the existence of the friendly pair from behind the bush once again before taking Xika away.

"So what are we going to learn?"

"We're going to practice changing the sound."

"Is that possible?"

"Nothing is impossible. Now close your eyes."

Xika closed her eyes. Then he heard Heiliao's voice.

"XICA!"

The boy opened his eyes.

"Heiliao's? What's up?"

But he found no wolf anywhere. He looked left and right but still could not find it. He looked at Huo Bing.

"Where is he?"

"Here."

Xika took a few steps back in shock. The one speaking in front of him was Huo Bing but the voice that came out was Heiliao's voice. He instantly knew that Heiliao had not really returned but Huo Bing who had previously spoken.

"How can you?"

"I'll teach you."

Xika nodded enthusiastically. Huo Bing was right. This exercise will be fun.

"First, gather qi around your throat. Then try to talk."

Xika does. After the qi gathered, he tried to let out his voice. What came out was not his voice. What came out was a strange, hoarse voice.

"good. You're talented. Next try to set what sound you're going to use."

Xika nodded. This time he tried to coat his throat with as little qi as possible. The sound that came out sounded like the sound of a small child who was cramped but also hoarse. Then he tried to coat it with enough qi. The voice that came out was a heavy voice like a middle-aged man.

Huo Bing nodded in satisfaction at seeing that disciple. The boy is talented.

"Now try to cover it with a different shape."

At first Xika did not understand what Huo Bing said. All he knew was to reduce or increase the qi in his throat. Then he tried to coat only half of his throat and the sound that came out changed. This time it sounded like a child, but it was no longer hoarse. It was like a child who had just been able to talk.

He began to understand. Then he covered the entire left throat only, while the right only half. The sound came out different again. This time it sounded like a teenage boy. He tried a few times.

"Now try to imitate the voice of a woman."

Xika tried three times before successfully finding a suitable shape and qi number. But when Huo Bing said woman, the one on his mind was Xingli. Although the girl only spoke a few times, she remembered her voice clearly. So he tried to change his voice until it sounded like the girl.

After seven attempts, Xika succeeded. He giggled himself because of it. Huo Bing simply shook his head from the side.

"Try the sound of the Wolf's charred."

Xika was quite familiar with that wolf's voice, so it didn't take long to imitate her.

"Now try Old Yan's voice."

Xika thought for a while then understood that Huo Bing was talking about Lang Yan, Lang Hu and Lang Jin's father. He was not very familiar with the sound of the wolf so it took longer to actually imitate it.

Huo Bing smiled in satisfaction seeing Xika successfully mimicking Lang Yan's voice.

"good. Remember the sound of form and the amount of qi you used when mimicking the sound of the old wolf. Now follow me."

Xika walked following Huo Bing towards a bush that let out friendly noises. The bird whispered something as long as they walked and it made Xika smile foul.

"Bas on you fucking bird."

Huo Bing also smiled back just as rottenly.

"You're the same, you fucking kid."

And with that, Xika sneaked closer to the bushes where the friendly voice came from. He still remembered the shape and amount of qi he had used before. He took a deep breath and then spoke.

"Lang Hu."

Xika was quite satisfied with the sound he let out. Two wolf figures stood stiffly from behind the bush. Thankfully, both did not look. It seems like the two of them were too surprised.

"D-dad? Isn't Dad in a meeting?"

Xika grunts. It was fortunate that his snort sounded like Lang Yan as well.

Lang Hu's tail stood upright.

"I-I'm....I..............I-I'll practice now, Dad!"

Then the wolf immediately ran away leaving his girlfriend who cursed him in the heart because of it.

"Lang Hongbao, right?"

"Y-yes, leader Yan."

Xika remained silent for a while to take a breath, but it made Hongbao even more afraid.

"How long have you been together?"

Hongbao's tail also stood up.

"It's been a few days, Leader."

"It's only been a few days? Is that how you talk to me?"

"Pardon me, Leader Yan."

Xika was silent. And Hongbao gets nervous every second.

"You dare to speak without looking me in the face?"

"Pardon me, leader"

Hongbao's words immediately stopped as he raised his head. The wolf did not find Lang Yan. Instead, he finds Xika. He looked at the man in confusion. He turned his head to the left and right but still did not find the figure he was talking to.

Then he saw the boy laughing amusedly for no reason and confused him.

"Xika's? Why you?"

Then Xika's expression instantly changed and made Hongbao startled.

"Why you? So you talk to me?"

The wolf took a few steps back while widening its eyes. Then he knew that it was Xik who had spoken.

"Ahahahaha. I got a stomachache."

Xika fell down while holding her stomach which hurt from laughing. But the laughter continues. Until he found a murderous look in front of him and immediately fled. Suddenly he was in love with his wings. Especially in a situation like this.

But Hongbao was not slow either. He was stunned for three seconds before running after Xika.

In the middle of the road, it just so happened that Xika met Lang Hu who was training.

"Lang Hu's! Buddy! Help me!"

Lang Hu's expression was instantly wary. Is something chasing Xika? He owes it to Xika. He must help the man.

"Xika's? What was? Why do you seem to be in such a hurry?"

"Your boyfriend is after me. Helpme. I accidentally bumped into him, but he seemed to be furious."

Lang Hu furrowed his brows. Hongbao was not a wolf to bother about such a small thing. But he didn't think about it for now.

"Calm down. I'll talk to him."

Xika nodded.

"Give him to you."

Then the man again flapped his wings and left with his face holding a half-dead laugh.

Xika's wings are fast. So even though Hongbao was three seconds late to run, he needed more time to catch up to Xika. It was a few seconds after Xika left. His breath is a little hunting. He looked at his lover.

"Where is he?"

"Hongbao, calm down."

"Where is he?"

"He just hit you. Just leave it, right? As far as I know you're not a wolf who likes to fuss over little things like this. Why with you?"

Hongbao looked at his lover in confusion as well as annoyance.

"What are you talking about?"

"Aren't you after Xika?"

"really. Where's she?"

"You're after him because he hit you, right? Just leave it alone, huh? It must have been unintentional."

Hongbao inhaled a deep breath then threw it away slowly. Lang Hu knew something was wrong. Then Hongbao told his lover the truth. Lang Hu instantly widened his eyes. So he tricked Xika? It was fitting before that he felt something was awkward.

"So the one who spoke earlier was Xika? Not my dad?"

"really. And you're holding me back from pursuing him."

"Xika!!!"

After that both of them ran to find a human who had lied to them. The two shouted out loud and searched for Xika throughout the forest. They did not stop looking for the man until it was dark.

"But that's exciting too. Let's do it again next time."

Then the two were busy discussing their next target until they did not realize the two pairs of eyes that were staring at him with burning eyes.
