The Demon Hunter

The Demon Hunter
Chapter 12: The End of the Event

One of the policemen tried to pull the woman's hand despite the slight distress.

"Mom, please come with us, it's dangerous here."

Without hearing the invitation, he continued to beg Riki and of course he could not just ignore it.

"I'll find her, please take this mother to safety first."

Seeing Riki's determination the policeman nodded.

"Be careful sir."

"certain."

Riki actually did not feel comfortable being called sir but he chose not to comment anything and just ignored it. He went up to the 4th floor where it was much quieter than the previous floor.

Riki was sneaking between the walls and next a sword suddenly flew towards him. He immediately dodged with his head down but the sword continued to move wherever Riki went.

Riki fired his gun until the sword fell to the floor after receiving a few bullets. If an ordinary gun was not possible thanks to Nina's help this could all be done easily, this weapon could absorb the spiritual energy of its owner and then add it with bullets, that was the explanation from Nina.

"You're a user of spiritual power apparently."

The voice came from a man with half his face resembling a lion, near his feet a little boy looked unconscious.

Riki looked at the boy, which made the man smirk with pleasure.

"What is this that you want, unfortunately I want to kill him for attacking me all of a sudden" said the man, showing his mouth filled with jagged fangs.

He continued.

" Look good!"

"I won't let it, '" Riki tried to move forward but it was clear he would be late.

When he reached out his hand a strange sound sounded.

Before the lion man's hand touched the little boy his head had already flown first. Blood gushed from the neck that was cut into the air like a fountain, not only was his body kicked until his bones spun.

"I still have my looks.""

"Ayumi Mai," he called her that.

Her ruby-red eyes looked at Riki as if she was shining in the darkness. He said.

"You okay?"

Riki nodded in silence.

"Then I leave this place to you. I still have a lot of work to do anyway, I really can't wait to see the blood coming out of those demons."

"Listen to Mai. Don't kill people."

Mai was silent for a moment with an expression that was hard to explain, as if she was enjoying it.

"How did yahh. I cannot guarantee it," after saying so he disappeared.

"That guy," thoughtlessly Riki carried the boy out of the building and gave it to his mother. When carried by his mother the boy opened his eyes and hugged his mother happily.

"Thank you very much, thank you very much."

With tears she lowered her head to Riki and left the place.

"You're okay sir."

"You are great."

The voice came from the two policemen he had met when he first arrived.

"Yes, I'd better get out of here, too."

"We understand," the two policemen saluted as Riki left on his bike.

More demons than I imagined, what exactly happened? Are they really the creatures we thought they were.

While thinking that, the speedometer number of Riki motor has reached 60 km/h.
