Chapter 43: A Giant Tree

"At least the chair is enough for all," what Claudia said.

Riki served as the driver while Mai sat beside him excitedly, while for Pricil, Claudia and Luis sitting at the back looked relaxed. Even though the design is like this, it is still a comfortable vehicle.

"So this is the comfort that the rich always feel."

Ignoring Luis' hallucinations about the car, Riki chooses to have a conversation with Nina while running the car engine.

"So what kind of demon are we going to fight?"

"I don't know if I should say it's a demon or not, which is obviously a tree."

"Tree anyway, boring," replied Mai who quietly heard.

"The tree did not attack man, only it absorbed all the water in the city."

"Not attacking humans is still enough to cause trouble, do you have any ideas?"

The leaves on each branch of the tree grew at an unreasonable speed until the entire area below was covered in a dark shadow.

Mai's voice brought everyone into reality.

"We have guests."

At this time everyone could see there was a man standing in their way trying to block the speed of the vehicle.

"Do we have to beat him first?" ask Pricil.

"I don't think it's necessary, let me deal with it, you guys just keep moving forward" Mai said as she turned her eyes to Riki to ask for confirmation from him.

Usually Riki would refuse, he knew in battle never once to underestimate the enemy even if it was a child.

Sighing, Riki handed the man standing over to Mai.

Mai disappeared and reappeared in front of the man in the blink of an eye, while the car passed through the two without any damage. A gust of wind from the car waved his black hair, his blood-red eyes staring at the enemy in front of him with killing intent.

Everyone nodded in agreement.

The car goes through a traffic light, turns at the intersection and then goes straight at high speed.

Upon arrival at the location, the three got out of the car. Luis' eyes widened in shock even though he lived where the forest area was wider than the population, only the first time he saw such a large tree from such a close distance.

Its height had already risen by 10 meters and it was clear its existence had already destroyed the nearby buildings.

"Now how, even my own claws won't be able to cut it," the person who asked was Pricil who had put up the weapon Nina had given him before.

Initially Riki wanted to use Pricil's ability to cut it in place of Mai, but when he saw the existence of the tree, only the impossible word was in his mind.
