Chapter 37: The Second and Third Mask

Riki shot his weapon even so well avoided by his enemy which then his enemy darted forward.

He pulled out a dagger to resist the slash then fired a bullet from another hand that could still be avoided back.

"Gwahaha, if it's just like that it won't affect me."

Riki's body was kicked backwards until his back hit the car parked on the shoulder of the road, he rolled over as a crescent-shaped slash was aimed at him which cut the car in two pieces before it exploded violently.

I don't want to be the only one who can be attacked. Riki took the initiative to move first. He ran over with a slight bow of his body and then sent a slash through his dagger, it created a slight flash of light that signified that his weapon had been fed some kind of spiritual energy.

The second demon mask dodged but unbeknownst to him Riki shot his stomach from an invisible crack.

Five shots perforated his body.

"You?"

Riki kicked him in the face and now it was his enemy's turn to crash into the shop window.

It's free, if I can't break the mask it's hard to end this fight, he thought to himself.

Even if the human wearing the mask died, the mask would still control it as it did the King, the only thing one could do was to kill both of them.

"It hurts so damn, who do you dare to do this, humans will just die!" his yell.

A far more crescent moon slash was sent aiming at Riki, he was as much as possible to avoid it but unfortunately the figure of the second demon mask had appeared in front of him, he swung his sword from top to bottom, with all his strength managed to be held back even so Riki's body was still thrown parallel to the asphalt.

"Just until this, die."

Just as the sword was about to slash at him, a burst of weapons sounded. It was not from Riki but rather Nina who was being cooped up on the pavement with Hecate in her hands.

The demon mask dropped its sword before staggering and collapsing forward.

"Ni-na?"

"On target, not that I'm great."

It was beyond belief that he was capable of shooting like that.

Riki smiled at him, he obviously just pinned it.

While elsewhere Pricil and Mei Ling faced off against the three demon masks, she swung her sword but could be countered by Mei Ling's swordplay.

Each time the two guns collided, a burst of wind was created which shattered the surroundings with broken windows scattered. Pricil who was watching from the side covered his face as the wind gushed towards him.

"Now I'm sure that Mei Ling herself can overcome the demons in her territory" he said.

The two of them were restrained from each other until their footing slashed into the ground.

"Impossible? How can man equal my power."

"commonize? We're stronger than you, even if you're a demon mask."

The human body that the mask used had died with a large hole in its heart, now they just had to destroy the mask.

Both of them pushed themselves back.

Mei Ling smiled as her position had been replaced by Pricil darting forward.

"Send it to you."

He dealt a few punches to smash the joints of the three demon masks then made it fly upwards.

"Impossible?"

Pricil leaps further away from him giving a scissor kick to knock him to the ground, as the finishing touch he punches the mask to a cataclysmic burst creating a huge hole 50 meters in diameter.

"It seems like I'm overreacting," she said so but Mei Ling just let it pass to answer a call from Nina.

"It looks like it's over there too, we're back."

"okay."

In the city center as Ayumi Kaede usually sat on the edge of the roof of the building while eating the sandwich, her expression was still as usual.

And invisible, Zero was hovering beside him.

"What's Zero?" his one brightly shining eyes stared at Kaede.

"Devil Mask One, Two, and Three, are gone."

"I didn't know there was a mask other than you?" flat reply Kaede.

"Actually it's all 10 and I happen to be ranked first from zero. That's why my name is Zero."

"so."

There was no sympathy or sadness both just silently ate their own sandwiches.
