Chapter 04: New Place

Two days later Riki was picked up Albert left the hospital in a car, he got off in front of a six-story building that looked towering.

As it looks it's just an ordinary office building.

"What do you think?" ask Albert.

"Much better than I imagined."

Albert smiled proudly.

"I think you've changed a little bit, it looks like Mai has changed you quickly."

"It's just a feeling, let's go in then."

"Ugh, I should have said that."

They entered an elevator to go upstairs.

"You're amazed you didn't hate Mai, instead she was so cruel."

"Why deep down I also feel a little grateful if he comes, maybe I will still be beaten to death. Do you think that I'm a bad person too?"

"After being treated like that I think it's a natural thought, I'm sure everyone can't stand being bullied and occasionally thinking about how to kill the culprit, but you didn't do it that far so I don't think you're that bad, Riki. You can hold back your hatred so you can choose what's right and wrong."

"Do you think Mai has hatred?"

"Everybody has it."

"I wonder what Mai is like?"

Moments later the door opened so the two could exit the elevator.

"Hmm, let me think about it. She was a less fortunate girl, when she was 14 years old, she was sold by her parents to a place of entertainment, fortunately she managed to escape and return to her home."

Both stopped right after a few steps forward. Although a little hesitant, in the end Albert continued his words when the elevator closed again.

"But when he arrived, his parents were lifeless, the culprit was none other than his own brother.he did it for the big money his parents received from the entertainment place."

"really?"

"After killing, her brother fled to this country. That's also why Mai came here, all for revenge."

"So his past is not good."

Albert stared at the ceiling of the corridor as if tracing his memory.

"Me and Nina found Mai lying on the street covered in blood."

"So she lost to her brother?"

"That's still uncertain, just like you, even though Mai was sold by her parents, why did she even return to the house? Suppose he went somewhere else, he would not have witnessed the incident and it was even possible that he would have lived happily after."

Riki shook his head about his ignorance and Albert immediately gave an answer.

"The answer is because his family is more valuable than he is. He once said that human life is something precious, he does not lie but deep in his heart he also hates humans in short he sorted out."

"Kill out the bad and keep the good alive."

"You could say so."

Man is a hypocritical creature who can deceive others for his own benefit. That word came to Riki.

When his friend beat him, they would be nice in front of their teacher or parents, that's human.

Riki slightly changed her gaze towards Mai.

If only there was something that could help him, I would do anything, Riki murmured inwardly.

"Riki you okay?" albert's voice brought him to reality.

"Ah yes."

"I also want to ask, instead of you being bullied by those three people so much but why are you a little angry when they get killed?" it was Albert's turn to ask.

"There's no particular reason, I think that even if people are evil they have a right to live, it's just a form of selfishness but I want everyone to be able to live happily without hurting each other."

"If they're murderers, you'll still forgive them."

"Of course not, we humans are just unworthy of punishing others with death, let the laws of the world judge them."

"I'm guessing you're a good person, you'll be a good partner to Mai as well."

"I hope so."
