Chapter 13: The Two Enemies

Riki pressed the earphones in his ear while saying.

"Sir Albert, would you please find out where Mai is now?"

Receiving the request, the person across the phone replied.

"I understand."

It was usually Nina who did it but it was clear she was not at the headquarters right now, Riki was sure she was out to buy some ice cream at the supermarket.

While waiting, his voice sounded again.

"At the front take a left, after passing through the traffic light, just straight."

"Good."

Inside the city were hundreds of cameras spread out, plus control drones, it was not impossible for them to find anything.

In short, wherever Riki goes, it can be monitored via camera from the headquarters.

Not only Albert, Nina had just returned and sat in her chair while eating ice cream.

"Owh, Mai is really great, she has teleported 5 times a day, is she okay?"

Riki came down and approached him.

"You're okay" he asked

"Hoamm," the girl simply yawned, not caring until she was shocked by Riki's next words.

"Kaede, he can see me, you better kill him now."

"Lazy ah, let's just leave it. I want to go home soon and sleep."
