Chapter 21: The Wolves

The once spacious room had now become narrow, Riki frowned while looking at the five people in front of her, this was something strange where he just wanted to find new members instead of getting into an unexpected mess.

A representative of the five people began to explain, the goal is to ask for help on Riki, when he first came to the hotel Riki killed one of the stealth from the roof with a distance of 500 meters, he had thought no one would know about him but unexpectedly the police already knew about him.

They must have tracked the arrival of bullets and anyone who had just rented a hotel around and found Riki as the mastermind.

"So what am I supposed to do?"

"Beating a demon, we were overwhelmed against it. Every appearance of the creature always ate a few people and then disappeared."

Riki stared at Nina who was sitting while eating the ice cream without saying anything. He must have intended to leave his affairs to Riki.

"Alright, since we're here we're going to hunt a demon."

All five left the hotel room when their request was finally approved.

"You sure?"

"How else, I can't go and let people die."

"Yes, sometimes Riki looks cool once in a while."

"Everytime? No, I'm cool all the time."

"I wouldn't say that."

The sound of howling resounded throughout the desolate city, under the moonlight, Riki and Nina traced the origin of the sound and found a wolf demon standing on top of a parked car. fresh blood dripped from his fang-filled mouth. In his mouth was a human hand that had already lost its perfect form.

"Nina hide, this time it's no ordinary demon."

At Riki's request, Nina hid behind a nearby building after a small nod. Due to sensing the unusual aura he took out his phone to call one more person as a favor.

Meanwhile, Riki had pulled the gun to his right hand and heard a "check" sound as he shifted the muzzle of his weapon.

"It's a wolf's smile, I've heard your stories a lot."

"Rraaough."

The wolf threw a hand in its mouth and turned its gaze towards Riki who was walking closer looking alert. Her blood-red eyes shone in the darkness, her glance resembled Mai when she found her target.

"I'd rather be called a demon hunter."

The wolf laughed out loud.

"Strong people like you deserve more than my meal."

"Let's prove who the prey and the hunter are."

Riki stepped forward while firing his gun. The wolf received it with a body as strong as steel and then ran crashing towards Riki.

Riki caught both shoulders, then jumped on them, he took out a dagger hidden in his right hand and moved to stab him in the back, unfortunately the wolf noticed it and brushed off his hand, and as he retaliated with a swing of his claws Riki retreated backwards.

Right hand left hand dagger gun.

"Gwahaha is interesting, because this is why hunting strong people is more fun."

The wolf stepped forward, Riki only had to dodge his slash so he never missed any movement from his hand, but unfortunately it was unexpected after a while of fighting his enemy also used his feet.

He moves like Pricil despite not being faster and stronger than him, for a moment Riki is grateful that he previously fought the girl.

The wolf slashed its claws slightly injuring the back of Riki's left hand until he dropped his firearm. When he was about to send out his next attack Riki had narrowed the distance quickly to his dagger which was firmly stabbing the wolf's heart on target.

"Guakhs."

The wolf demon spewed blood from its mouth trying to restrain itself which was about to lose consciousness, he said

"You know. We wolves always hunt in packs."

"AAAAAAAauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu." "AAAAAAAAAAAA."

Along with his words howls began to be heard throughout the city. Four other wolves fell from the sky.

"Four," cried Riki

"No, five to be more precise," he replied before falling down.

Unexpectedly another one appeared beside Riki. He was about to lift his claws, before he could do a punch hit him until it exploded.

Flesh mixed with blood fell down the entire way.

Riki smiled at the person who did it, a girl he knew.

"You're overpricing Pricil."

"I hate wolves anyway.they're the natural enemies of cats."
