Chapter 02: The Agency for the Countermeasure of Occult Attacks

The black haired girl said.

"I have to go now, let's meet again next time.hmm that, Riki."

Why does he know my name? Thought the young man in the heart.

Before Riki could speak, her consciousness had already been pulled from her because Mai had just hit her neck.

The sound of a cell phone ringing rang as the girl walked to the corner of the roof of the building, although a little annoyed she could not ignore the incoming phone until she finally raised it doubtfully.

There's a "Boss" on the screen.

"Remerge again," Mai cut first.

"That's how, quickly get everything sorted out before any civilians are killed."

" I get it, speaking of civilians, I accidentally killed them can you sort that out for me."

"WHAT??? I told you not to kill a human," shouted from the other end of the phone while Mai did not care and continued.

"Well how else? They intend to attack me.... You can take care of it, right? Don't you?"

"alright. I'll take care of everything. If anywhere else you'll be put to death."

Mai just furrowed her brows.

"Listen, if I kill again I'll hang you as penance."

"The horror..by the way where is the creature?"

"Five kilometers to the southeast of where you stand.I'm counting on you."

"okay."

Phone disconnected.

Mai glanced at the unconscious Riki before jumping off the building until her figure disappeared completely.

An hour later, Riki wakes up in a room unfamiliar to him, looking around him, and begins to realize that he is not at school but in the hospital.

Moments later the door of the room opened and the figure of a man in a suit greeted him while raising his hand.

"Yo Riki, have your injuries improved?"

"Ah.yeah," asked by a person he had never seen made him a little awkward.

The man ranged in his mid-30s with blond hair cut neatly, his body tall and blue eyes, the only impression he got from him was that he was from abroad.

Noticing Riki's gaze, the little girl immediately hid in embarrassment.

"His name is Nina, he's a little shy of strangers."

"So," Riki briefly replied to the man in the suit who was already sitting nearby.

"How are you doing? You're really battered, do you remember anything before you were unconscious?" ask the guy in the suit.

Drawn in the fact that Riki was holding onto the suit man's shoulder with an intense gaze, he re-imagined the human body cut into pieces in his mind before thinking it was better to ignore him.

"The woman is a killer."

The man in the suit replied with a sad look.

"Sorry Riki, we deeply regret the incident.If only the three men would have heard Mai's words, they would not have died."

Mai's name was mentioned, Riki turned around clutching the collar of the man in the suit.

"You must know him, right?"

For the first time he could bring out his emotions, for his weak self not retaliating was something he could do, so those who beat him would be satisfied then leave him alone.

"Calm Riki."

"Where might I be able to calm down," Riki's cry echoed in the room.

Realizing a little girl was glancing at him, he let go of his grip and kept his distance.

"I'm sorry."

"What's wrong. I understand what has happened to you, however it is also our responsibility. because we have not found a partner for him he can do as he pleased."

"Representative?"

A big question mark appeared on Riki's head, the second time the shadow of the girl appeared in his eyes.

"True, my name is Albert, I'm the leader of a special body created by the Indonesian government called the Agency for the Countermeasure of Magical Attacks."
