Chapter 66: The End of the Demon Mask

Seeing that, this was Riki's chance.

"Mai," following Riki's shout, Mai jumps back at the same time as Riki throws a light bomb at Kaede's feet before she lunges and catches Kaede from behind, locking her hands.

"What?"

"Now Mai."

Mai teleported to nearby Kaede, beating her in the abdomen until the three of them instantly teleported to an area of the forest with nothing but trees.

"Riki back out of here I'll fight him."

Riki agreed and he retreated a few meters away, leaving the two to fight.

"So good chance you should have stabbed me."

"I won't be a coward, fight me one on one."

Kaede swung the sword from the side as well as Mai, their swings colliding with each other flying the entire tree around her with flashes of light as well as deafening sounds as the effect.

From her red left eye Kaede looked at Mai.

"You still care about them, when they've sold you."

"That's not true, they just forgot and left me."

"You're this, too good."

Their swords clashed against each other in the air.

The kick hit Mai's shoulder and swooped down, before he hit the ground Kaede was already there, then released a second kick until Mai flew to the side to hit several trees behind her.

Mai spewed blood from the mouth, for Riki who noticed this was no ordinary fight, they exceeded normal humans.

"I thought I had to bring out all my abilities, which is why I brought you here. This way I can rampage all over."

Mai got up, along with that her hair was lifted into the air.

"He released his spiritual energy which he had been holding all this time," said Riki who was watching from afar.

That power crushed the trees around her and then Mai's hair turned white while her sword turned blood red.

"You're getting serious.. Then me too," From Kaede's back appeared a pair of black wings. The black feathers began to come out from every wing he flapped to be exact, hovering nearby.

"I'm starting."

Mai stomped her feet on the ground, with great speed she sniffed the dipping feather attack towards her. He swung the sword in the air creating a crescent-shaped blade of light.

Kaede held back with her sword at the same time Mai was already behind her. Swinging the sword of the pair of wings was slashed neatly.

Kaede hit the ground, Mai followed along while putting her sword piercing.

Kaede who noticed it rolled to the side and the sword only pierced the empty area.

"I almost won."

"Zero."

Another sword appeared in Kaede's left hand, now that she was the wielder of two swords.

The fight continued they swung swords at each other making a tremendous impact around them which made half the forest area cut neatly.

Mai was hit by several slashes making blood flow from her body as well as vice versa.

Without seeing Mai swing her sword, suddenly blood spurted from Kaede's body, her blazer was now torn neatly.

"If someone else might have cut them off, you're a great onee-chan."

Now that Kaede turned around to attack, Mai was about to hold her back from the front but Kaede had already appeared beside her, the swing was slashing at Mai quickly and she retreated backwards. if only Mai had been late to dodge her hand would have been severed by now.

Shouts echoed in the air and they continued to attack and defend each other, both of them seemed balanced just that Mai's speed was faster than Kaede plus teleportation, Mai managed to corner her brother until he sat leaning against a tree.

"You're getting stronger apparently" Kaede said, removing her mask and her sword disappeared.

"Hurry up. Kill me."

"Wait for Mai," the voice felt from zero returning to its original form.

"Kaede was just trying to protect you."

"Silence Zero," for the first time Kaede yelled at him.

"For so long he loved you, when you were sold to entertainment, your brother went looking for you but he didn't find you there."

"What do you mean?"

"All this time your brother's been doing is for you."

"Zero," Kaede shouted back.

"Impossible."

"You don't even know they're not your real parents, they're so your parents just want your property."

"Lying .. is impossible."

The words resembled a blow to him, he staggered backwards.

Kaede spewed blood from her mouth, she was already injured which is why she could not silence zero's words.

"He used my powers, do you know why?"

"He did it for you. By killing 1 million people, I will also have tremendous power. No, more than that I can bring the dead back to life... Kaede intends to raise your real parents with my power."

"You lied to me."

All this time what he considered his parents was a lie and his brother always worried about him. He began to think back then when fighting with his brother Kaede did not kill him.

"Uwaaaaaaaaaaaa," a cry more akin to that echoed in the air. Mai was sitting limp while holding her sister.

"My stupid brother, don't cry."

"O-onee chan."

"When I could kill 1 million people a little bit more, sorry Kaede from the beginning I did not have the strength to bring your parents to life, nor did I intend to leave this world, all I want is to destroy this world."

"So when you get stronger by killing a lot of people."
