CHAPTRE. 14 - SHIN BUYEN II

Shin Buyen walked out of the cave in blood-soaked clothes and a head in his right hand. He wiped away the blood that splashed under his lips as well as in both of his eyes which further made his vision blur.

”Ahh, am I overdoing it? After all, their numbers are not small.” muttered Shin Buyen who faced dozens of dead bodies due to poisonous snake bites on their necks. Lately, they had frequent the arrival of uninvited guests who wanted to kill Shin Yixuan. He did not know how they could find out Luo Hein's hiding place. However, it remained that their existence here really made him fret!

As Shin Buyen fell silent there while watching the corpses being slowly eaten by his snake, a wire knife appeared that was speeding towards him very quickly. Once he realized it, he immediately jumped up without knowing that there was the same attack there.

As soon as the wire blade would pierce through his head and bind his body, Shin Buyen immediately avoided it by moving sideways. However, he was less quick so a few strands of his hair were cut. His feet stood on a firm tree branch while watching two young men who were also standing on a branch lower than him.

The clothes they used looked the same but, the weapons they used were far dangerous if one was not wary of them.

”No! This time they are from a different place!” inner Shin Buyen who noticed. ”Don't tell me they're from Zhu Palace!”

Right after, hundreds of wire blades instantly moved swiftly towards him with movements that looked hard to read. Shin Buyen tried to avoid it by jumping in various directions and not having time to take out the manager. ”... Even though Zhu Palace was extremely powerful, they had always used underhanded means to defeat their enemies! They're trying to push me!” inner Shin Buyen who immediately set foot on the ground and gave rise to hundreds of snakes from underground.

As the snakes were moving rapidly against the two young men, poisonous powder came out from the arm of one of the young men's clothes whose steps stopped and let his companion run ahead of him. The powder instantly burned the bodies of the snakes until they turned to ashes.

For the first time, Shin Buyen felt surprised that his attack had been thwarted. All along, no one had been able to defeat a snake witch like her other than the demon lords who met her.

Shin Buyen looked in pain as the wire blade managed to whip his back. He fell to his knees and felt the blood coming out of his body. He squeezed the thick grass under his hands and stared one by one at the young man coldly.

Shin Buyen tried to stand up. However, he never knew that the wire knife that had hit him turned out to have poison in it. ”I'm afraid their number is not just two people. If I don't return quickly, I'm afraid something happened to Yixuan.” Inner Shin Buyen while holding on to the wall of the tree next to her.

”Mrs! We will not hurt you and hurt your son if you come with us.” said the young man.

”If it wasn't for me, you definitely wouldn't be in danger.” said the young man who was carrying Shin Buyen at this time.

Meanwhile, inside a large palace in the south, stood a young Emperor who was facing outside the window of his magnificent room. The youth with orange colored hair like dusk, had beautiful eyeballs like the ocean waves. His lips were thin like a sword and there was a small mole under his eyes.

He was the Emperor of the Southern Zhu State. His name was Hu Lingge. And a reliable advisor named Ji Yun.

”Your Highness, it was a bad decision to invite an assassin like a snake witch who was on Xieyu hill. Do you intend to kill us all?” ji Yun asked who was standing behind him with a horsetail whip on the fold of his elbow.

Hu Lingge slightly turned his head back and replied, ”We once knew each other even for a while. She was the daughter of the Shin family who was different from her own brothers. I plan to make her empress for this country.”

Ji Yun who heard it was very surprised and he immediately asked, ”Why did Your Majesty give a decision that is impossible to accept by your own people?” he said with worry.

”I know.” Hu Lingge replied as he lowered his head slightly. ”... But, once you see him, you'll know he's a good man.”

”But, I heard he killed his own family for his own personal gain. Is Your Majesty already very confident in making her your empress? What if he betrays His Majesty?”
