CHAPTRE. 19 - HU LINGGE

”You did come back with an egg but, should you bring home a royal member?” Luo Hein looked astonished after seeing Shin Yixuan return with the horde of troops as well as her Emperor standing on the front line. There were at least 20 people here not to mention with their horse.

”This master has helped me so, I think he would like to visit here for a while.” replied Shin Yixuan with a look of happy face.

”It's nice to meet you. My name is Hu Lingge from Zhu.” Palace Hu Lingge said with his friendly face and non-threatening smile.

Luo Hein looked at him lazily while pulling Shin Yixuan away from him. ”... Thank you for visiting here. Now you can leave here.” he said coldly.

”Why did Dad kick him out? This master has just arrived. At least let her rest for a few days.” pinta Shin Yixuan while pulling Luo Hein's outer robe in front of her.

”You two are noisy!” snapped Shin Buyen who directly kicked the two out from inside his house and pulled Shin Yixuan and Shu Ye into his house. ”... Sleep outside! I don't want to hear you guys talk!” he continued while looking at the two coldly. After that, he slammed the door and left them outside when it was night.

”Yang noble? You okay?” ji Yun asked as he tried to make her stand back up.

”Yes, what about the cure? Have you not drunk it today?” whispered Ji Yun in a soft voice.

”I will do it later.” he replied as he gazed towards Luo Hein who was standing there while looking at him coldly. But, for now he was still looking at her with his face that looked friendly and gentle as if he did not want to fight with her like earlier. ”At least we're out here together. Tell the troops to rest tonight.”

”I will do it soon and immediately prepare Your Majesty's bed.” replied Ji Yun.

”No need to do it.” Hu Lingge said. ”... I'll sleep anywhere. You should also rest.” he said as he walked towards somewhere.

Ji Yun was silent for a while with her expression looking surprised even though her face was currently lowered. ”... His Majesty does not think about his own circumstances. If only the previous empress had not gone down her illness, perhaps until this time Her Majesty would have been fine.” Inner Ji Yun thought about it.

At the same time, within a narrow house gap, Hu Lingge was currently hiding within it. His nose was bleeding and a cough that could not stop for a while. When the night really appeared, all the Palace troops were resting in every courtyard that was near the house. They all fell asleep like nothing could bother them. However, all the weapons remained in their hands to protect the Emperor who led the country of their birth.

Hu Lingge fell asleep on the backyard terrace because before, he was lured by a sound of water flow that had made him calm and fall asleep for a while. However, there was something that made him wake up all of a sudden. He heard footsteps approaching him. And when that person appeared before him, he knew immediately that he was Shin Yixuan who had come to bring him a blanket.

”Why is sister sleeping here? Is it not cold if you sleep next to the pool?” asked Shin Yixuan while looking at her.

Hu Lingge smiled at him and then replied, ”I came here because I heard the sound of water.”

Shin Yixuan was stunned. He sat down next to her and asked, ”What's wrong with the sound of water? Can it make your mind calm?”

”Ya.” replied Hu Lingge. ”... The palace is not as comfortable as living among the villagers. I could breathe nothing but the smell of incense and I could hear nothing but the complaints made by the officials. It would be different if I were here. There are many sounds and there are many different scents. But what I like most is the smell and sound of running water. I feel calmer when I'm here.”

”But why did you suddenly visit Xieyu Hill? Is there something you're looking for or would you like to make my mother your empress?” ask Shin Yixuan.

Hu Lingge was silent for a while and held his face that looked incredulous with his own words. ”... Ahh, I think I've thought about it twice. I can't win from your father. I'll go until my mind improves.”

Shin Yixuan looked at him with an expression that looked happy as she continued, ”Seconds can visit here occasionally. There are many people who are willing to accept brother here.”

Hu Lingge looked surprised after hearing his words. He again showed his smile as he patted Shin Yixuan's narrow shoulder and said, ”Thank you. You look a lot like your mother. Very good and soothing.”
