The Demon King's heir

The Demon King's heir
CHAPTRE. 60 - TAKE OFF

When Shin Yixuan's hand nearly pierced through her skin and flesh, Shu Ye closed her eyes and took off the sword that stuck in Shin Yixuan's shoulder. With the corner of his blood-splitting lips and his expression that was like he was enduring pain, he dropped his already broken sword.

Shin Yixuan gave a sad expression as she asked, ”S-Shu Ye? Why is it like this?” he asked in disbelief and immediately took off his bloody hand.

Shu Ye coughed softly while covering her mouth with a palm. Closing his eyes for a while to rest, a few seconds later he stared back at Shin Yixuan with slightly curved lips.

”I came just to look for you because I believe that you are still alive.” Shu Ye said in a hoarse voice while holding his wound deep enough. ”... But I never thought time would go faster than I thought. I wish I knew this would happen when I looked for you. If only I could have come sooner to take you out of the Xieyu hill. It's all my fault for not doing what Uncle Luu said to protect you. Please forgive me.”

Shin Yixuan did not know what to say. He felt very sad not even believing he had injured him so badly. Why should he be affected by the words spoken by Lu Yuan if only he knew that everything would end like this.

”You who came without excuse, why bother looking for me so far when you know that I am dead? Why not run and save yourself? If you knew this was all your fault, why would you still dare to appear in front of me?” asked Shin Yixuan sadly.

From the palm of his hand, Shu Ye brought out a sword with a handle that had a blue hue and a blue stripe that was in the middle of his iron plate. ”... To give you this. Uncle Luu made it for you. She wanted to give it to you as a birthday present. But the situation is not on his side. He knows that I'm going to find you so, Uncle Luu leave this for you— UHUKK!”

Not until he ended his words, Shu Ye fell to his knees while spewing out a mouthful of blood that was not small. The wound was getting sore and draining his strength and even talking had made his breath gasp. He put the sword in front of him and continued to curl up against the ground.

Shin Yixuan obviously did not dare to touch him. Both his hands and feet were trembling as if they were not strong enough to withstand his own weight. He could only look at her with sadness, hoping that all this was just an illusion given to him.

He was afraid that everyone would hate him.

A few seconds after, Shu Ye raised his head back and looked at him. The curvature of his lips was still forming between his breaths which began to pant. ”... I'm not gonna hate you. I know you can't say anything right now. You must be very surprised to see me standing here, right?” said it. ”... I promised to tell you this when I'd leave later. And now is the right time to say it.”

”...” Shin Yixuan fell silent and listened to him speak even though his voice sounded hoarse.

Slowly, Shu Ye's mouth started to move and said in something to him. ”... Sorry to enter without excuse and thank you for allowing me to stay.” a second later Shu Ye fell to the ground and did not move at all.

Shin Yixuan who saw him was very surprised by his two wide eyes in disbelief. Slowly, he walked up to Shu Ye and fell to his knees in front of his corpse. Shin Yixuan lowered her head and looked at her two bloodied hands.

Very sad!

Ahhhhh!!!!

Shin Yixuan shouted loudly while clutching both of her heads like she wanted to destroy them. Both of his eyes were crying blood and the hatred energy that was around him started to gather in his body.

A few seconds after the voice appeared, Shin Yixuan's body began to be controlled by her darkest side which turned much stronger ever since she turned into a demon. The highlight of his eyes was flaming red with no expression like a puppet being controlled by someone. He took the sword Shu Ye had brought for him and used it.

Shin Yixuan grinned and looked ahead. ”... It turns out there yes. You deliberately provoked my anger, the first Demon King, Lu Yuan.”

UHUKK!!

Shin Furong suddenly choked on the hot gravy when it happened somewhere else. He immediately felt bad while looking at his face reflected on the broth of food. ”... Brother Shu Ye, I hope he's okay. If he is in danger, anyone please help him.” Inner Shin Furong expectantly.

”What's up? You choked?” xiu Huan asked who was next to him as the two rested at a restaurant in Wujie city.

Shin Furong did not reply and simply shook his head. For a while he tried to think before he finally said, ”... Uncle Xiu! Are Uncle Luu and Mother dead? The Xieyu Hill felt much quieter than usual. If Uncle knows something, can Uncle feel open to me?” he said as he looked at Xiu Huan expressionlessly.

Xiu Huan was stunned and himself was silent for a while. Quickly, he immediately turned his attention and thought for a moment. ”... You won't be sad when you hear it?” xiu Huan asked while looking at him seriously.

Shin Furong directly replied, ”No. I was happy that Uncle wanted to tell me. At least, my curiosity will disappear carried by the wind.”

Xiu Huan was again speechless as he looked at her. He doubted. Afraid that Shin Furong would be saddened when he heard it and would cry again like the first time they met. On the other hand, he also could not keep this a secret forever and made him continue to hope that the two of them would return safely.

”They both, no longer exist.” a short Xiu Huan that Shin Furong instantly understood.

A few seconds later, Shin Furong lowered his head as if he had guessed that this must have happened. Both of his hands clenched tightly as he could not expect it. Occasionally, he rubbed his eyes that were covered by his front hair.

”You promised you wouldn't be sad. Why are you crying now?” chirp Xiu Huan who noticed.

Shin Furong replied a while after, ”No. I'm not really crying. I had guessed that this would happen. Uncle Luu never broke his promise and Mother always came when I needed her. If it doesn't happen, I'm pretty sure something happened to them.”

Xiu Huan gave a sad expression as if the food on his desk had turned salty. He touched Shin Furong's head to his surprise. ”... Now you don't need it anymore. I've been here and you keep forcing me to come with you. I have no choice but to stay with you. I also don't want the incident to happen again.”

Shin Furong guessed that Xiu Huan did not want any villagers to think that he was a demon and stoned him like that. In his mind, there were some questions that made him curious. ”... How did uncle see me? After seeing my eyes, did Uncle also think that I was a human heart-eating Devil?”
