EXTRA 5 - BECOMING HUMAN

The story after the seventh Demon King has a fever after eating a dirty heart that comes from a criminal.

The smell of incense burning in the morning made Yun Weixian wake up instantly. When he had just opened his eyes, he looked at the ceiling of the room that looked clean when in fact, it should have been very dusty considering he had no time to clean it. After he sighed a few times, he decided to sit down and stare at his window.

The bamboo curtains seemed to move following the wind that entered his room. Yun Weixian felt that there was something strange in her house. He touched the dust left on the surface of the table and then he immediately ran out to see what was going on.

”A- What is this? Why did this happen?” muttered Yun Weixian who looked very surprised after she saw the living room in her house was already very clean and tidy. In the middle of the room, there is a table above which has a lot of food. The dirty clothes that used to lie everywhere are no longer there.

Then, shortly after, he immediately ran towards Guju's room which was right in front of his room. He banged on his door shouting, ”Ju-Jie! Open door! You've done all this?!”

”Whispering!” guju shouted from the inside and he immediately opened the door and looked at Yun Weixian lazily. ”... Do you have nothing to do but awaken the devil who is dreaming?! Go and clear all your places!”

Yun Weixian was stunned and asked, ”So, you cleaned this house?”

Guju's surprised. He looked around and he looked astonished at it. ”... I thought you cleaned it. Who did it then?” guju asked with a suspicious expression.

”There is only one more creature that has not been asked and he is,....

Both of them ran straight to the terrace of the house. Then, when they had reached there, they were surprised because there was currently a scene that was very rare. ”Lying! Xuan-Ge washes and hangs clothes?!” yun Weixian's heart felt like it would be dislodged when she saw that. Likewise with Guju who immediately fainted when he saw it.

Realizing that he was currently being watched, Shin Yixuan immediately turned her head back and looked directly at Yun Weixian who was also staring at him. A second later, Shin Yixuan smiled faintly and said, ”Again, Weixian.”

Yun Weixian felt struck by lightning!

How could a lazy demon like Shin Yixuan do homework alone?! There must be something wrong here! Was someone trying to influence his mind or perhaps, last night he hit a wall so he forgot his nature as a slacker?!

Yun Weixian immediately ran towards him. He touched his forehead and checked Shin Yixuan's current body temperature. ”Nothing is strange. The temperature is normal. What is really going on here?!” muttered Yun Weixian who still could not believe what she saw now.

”What's the Weixian? Is there something wrong with me?” asked Shin Yixuan who did not listen to Yun Weixian's words.

Yun Weixian stood in front of him. While showing his two fingers, Yun Weixian asked, ”Xuan-Ge! How many fingers is this?” ask him curiously.

Shin Yixuan was stunned. Shortly after he laughed softly while answering, ”Of course, my answer was twenty including toes.”

Yun Weixian directly said, ”That's not what I mean! How many fingers are you looking at right now?”

Shin Yixuan replied, ”Of course. Only two I see now. What's wrong? Your attitude is so strange today.”

”You're the one who makes the most hangers here!” inner Yun Weixian while looking at him flatly.

”You must not have eaten. I'll prepare your food. What do you want to eat?” shin Yixuan asked which made Yun Weixian even more distrustful of what she was saying.

Normally, Yun Weixian was always preparing food and cleaning the house every day. But this time, the two are reversed.

”What is really going on here? Did he eat wrong?” yun Weixian's inner being was getting confused because of it. He replied, ”Food you used to serve ten years ago. That's it.”

Shin Yixuan was stunned. He was silent for a while and finally replied, ”Alright. Glutinous cake and meat porridge. Is that what you want right now?”

”He even remembers it? The change seems so obvious! He who was usually lazy and could not remember anything for a long period of time, now turned into the opposite?! A- do I have to do something for her or do I just let it go like this?” inner Yun Weixian who was beginning to be anxious and confused.

While carrying his basket of clothes, Shin Yixuan said, ”Please wait inside. I will immediately prepare it.” he said as he walked into his house. Then, just as he was about to open his door, Yun Weixian suddenly just said, ”I'll help!”

Instantly, Shin Yixuan fell silent on the spot while staring at him. At first he was surprised but, because he was used to doing everything himself, he replied, ”Thank you. But, I don't really need it right now.” he said as he walked inside.

”Ahh, very strange. Is this a sign of a major disaster coming? The tsunami? A landslide? Or flood?!” yun Weixian's inner still looked puzzled.

A second later, Guju suddenly moved quickly towards him and he immediately pulled the collar of his clothes while glaring at him sharply. ”... Tell me, what did you do to His Majesty!” guju shouted as he raised his greatsword which looked impatient to slash his head.

Yun Weixian looked very surprised and she immediately said, ”Please relax for a moment! I-I didn't do anything!” he replied while staring at Guju's sharp sword which was right next to his neck.

Guju instantly shouted, ”Omong empty what kind of is that?! You must have done some magic on His Majesty!”

Yun Weixian directly replied, ”Really! I didn't do anything! Your room is in front of my room. Supposedly, you could hear me as I walked out.”

Guju looked at him more and more sharply and said, ”Bodo time what happens when you sleep. Then, what happened last night, what did you do? You must have done something!”

”Really! I didn't do anything!”

”Guju! Weixian!” exclaimed Shin Yixuan who reappeared after she walked out the door. Then, the two stopped and immediately stared at him simultaneously.

”... Can you get Huang Luo, Weixian?” shin Yixuan. ”... He was usually at Shoyu Lake. Please call him here.”

”Really too! That guy!” inner Yun Weixian who remembered something. He then answered enthusiastically, ”Good! I'll call him soon!” his reply immediately began the thousand steps and left the house after he was frightened by Guju's great sword.

”Huang Luo must know something!”

”Huang Luo! It's critical!” yun Weixian shouted while running and then, she hit Huang Luo until the two fell on the ground.

”Do you have no eyes?!” ketus Huang Luo who looked annoyed after his head was hit and it made him almost fall into the lake.

Yun Weixian immediately took a sitting position and immediately said, ”This is critical! So bad! X- Xuan-Ge!”

Yun Weixian's eyeballs instantly glazed over as she replied, ”He has washed my clothes and dried them! He made me breakfast too! Really weird! I don't accept!” Yun Weixian slightly shouted when she heard him temporarily, Huang Luo looked speechless and looked at him flatly.

”Stop whining like a child! So, the point is that Your Majesty is not as uncharacteristic? Then, why? Wouldn't it be nice if she could be independent and not count on you every day?” huang Luo asked with a condescending expression.

”But I don't like it! He was not like the lazy Devil that the crowd said! How could a King like him want to do household chores! I'm sure, the other Demon Kings are like that too.” Yun Weixian chirped.

”Lowness! So, is that the only problem? I think he came to bring me great trouble.” Inner Huang Luo while distracting her. He said, ”Alright! I want to see what His Highness is like at the moment.” he said as he walked away.

Yun Weixian looked surprised and immediately chased after her, ”Wait! Nay! As his personal healer, you definitely would not accept seeing him!” he shouted while trying to pull Huang Luo's hand however, he always failed to do so.

Shortly after, they both arrived home. Yun Weixian looked extremely exhausted as she continued to chase after Huang Luo who had quite quick movements. ”Only so much as your ability? You can't even come after me!” sneer Huang Luo while folding her hands.

Yun Weixian immediately looked coldly at Huang Luo and said, ”Whisper! I just need to practice again!”

Huang Luo turned her attention to the surrounding objects. It seems clear that the house now looks very neat. There was no dry trash there. Everything was neatly arranged in contrast to what Yun Weixian had been doing all this time.

”Try to trick me?! Everything looks fine here!” snarled Huang Luo while pulling the collar of Yun Weixian's clothes.

”T-wait a minute! I'm not lying! Xuan-Ge has completely changed!” yun Weixian replied awkwardly.

Huang Luo let out a fire on her palm and said, ”I shouldn't believe what you said!”

”Huang Luo! Weixian!” exclaimed the young man standing in the doorway while staring at the two in confusion.

Then, as they tried to look at it, the two looked surprised after seeing Shin Yixuan who was standing by holding a vegetable spoon and a face filled with dust. The face features a very rare lip arch. Both of his eyes looked beautiful as if he was enjoying the scenery in front of him.

”Abnormal once!” inner Huang Luo who looked dumbfounded.

A few moments later. Both of them entered the house. They sat in front of a table that had been served some food that filled it like meat soup and Yun Weixian's favorite glutinous cake. However, most of these foods are raw vegetables and meat.

”It just so happens that I found a lot of groceries in the kitchen. So, I cooked everything so you can eat!” said Shin Yixuan happily however, in Yun Weixian's mind she said, ”Hubbery! The food should last up to a week! Nor did he give me enough money to buy it again!”

”Your Majesty what's wrong with you. You are not as usual.” said Guju sadly for seeing him like this.

Shin Yixuan was stunned and said, ”I'm fine. There is nothing to worry about.” he said with a happy smile at him.

Yun Weixian whispered to Huang Luo who was sitting next to her, ”I was right. This action is so strange. Is he being possessed or does he have a rare disease?”

Huang Luo lowered her ceramic glass and said, ”Devil King can't possibly be possessed by spirits! Anyway, I think he's fine. He will be like this for a day and tomorrow he will be a slacker.” he said while eating minced meat in front of him.

”... I was in vain to come here! Besides, you don't have to worry about it until it's like that! His laziness was not due to him being the seventh Demon King. However, he tried to conserve his energy until the predetermined time limit. If the Demon King continued to be in the mortal realm, his strength would decrease even more. And if he really ran out of steam even until his hair came back black, he would die and his position as the seventh Demon King would be replaced.”

Yun Weixian looked at him confusedly and asked, ”Who deserves it? There is no way Xuan-Ge would choose a human to replace him.”

Huang Luo smiled a grin and looked at him coldly. ”You think so but, I don't think it's going to happen. You're the one who's gonna take his place. But, to do so, you must die first.”

Yun Weixian was speechless with her expression that looked solemn as well as feeling terrified if it had really happened to her.

”Huang Luo! Stop talking while eating!” pinta Shin Yixuan who kept watching the two talked to each other while she was feeding Guju who kept crying.

”....”

That night, Yun Weixian sat on the front porch of her house. He thought of continuing to think about what Huang Luo had said to him this afternoon.

Was it true that he would be Shin Yixuan's successor if he was dead later? No way! He will reject the offer no matter what. He prefers death over having to occupy the throne of hell.

Yun Weixian sighed and said in her mind, ”I really want to leave here. How can I escape reality?” he stared at the small pond filled with koi fish.

”Weixian? You look worried. What's bothering you?”

Yun Weixian was stunned and directly looked towards a young man who was walking towards her.

It seemed, Shin Yixuan had returned to being herself. Right now, his body size was again shrinking into a small child. Hugging a pillow and rubbing his sleepy eyes, he continued walking towards Yun Weixian.

”Why are you here? Sleep there!” yun Weixian said as she turned her attention.

”Why cue once? I came to comfort you.” replied Shin Yixuan as she had been sitting next to him. However, he remained silent even though he was there. His face looked sleepy yet, he tried to stay awake.

”Hei! So, you're gonna decide to talk to me?”

Yun Weixian turned her back and said, ”No! I don't have anything to talk to you about!”

Shin Yixuan was speechless however, her face proved that she was currently being disappointed. He touched Yun Weixian's back and said, ”At least give me a few words. If you're angry, just hit me. In the end, even though I've been taking care of you since infancy, I'll never understand about you nor human feelings. Youre right. The devil is still a demon.” because it is too tired, Shin Yixuan ended up falling asleep right then and there.

Moments after he confirmed that Shin Yixuan had fallen asleep, Yun Weixian looked back at him. He touched Shin Yixuan's little head and muttered, ”Why don't you just go back to your palace? If you continue to be here, will you make me occupy your throne when you're dead?”

The next day, everything came back to the way it was. The house that looked messy in the morning and the food ingredients that had been cooked all over, certainly made Yun Weixian hassles to clean up all the mess.
