CHAPTRE. 45 - ASSAULT

11 Years ago, Lun's residence, Wujie Town.

”Do not be arrogant and do not act rashly! You are planning to take control of Nanxin territory but, you cannot think of the consequences if it goes against the people there!” yu Yuanyi snapped when he was dealing with Lun Heiyun in his room after he heard that Lun Heiyun was going to rule over Nanxin territory in fact, though, he was, the region was filled with ferocious beasts and a remote residence that possessed great power.

Lun Heiyun showed her arrogance in front of her own biological mother. His face was smiling sinisterly and his gaze looked so confident. ”... Who will fight there? You're just an old woman carrying firewood. Why are you advising me like this?” lun Heiyun said in a haughty tone.

Yu Yuanyi started to look at him seriously. ”... That place was the Shin family's grand residence. Even if they're dead, you won't be able to control their territory. There are a lot of magical animals that you don't know what they look like and what their powers look like. And you also forgot the existence of the snake witch who is still alive today.” he said.

”I can handle it. After all, they were just magic animals. Why am I afraid to face it?” lun Heiyun replied while looking at him cynically. He didn't seem to think much of it to his roots. He had always been in a hurry like a child. That was what always made Yu Yuanyi drown in her own worries.

Both were silent for a moment. Then, something appeared that managed to make Lun Heiyun seem surprised to not even be able to believe it. ”... Grandma! What is grandma doing here?” shu Ye asked who walked up to him and immediately stood next to him with a puzzled look.

Lun Heiyun's gaze started to look frightened. He was a young man who dissolved with the power and strength he had. But, as soon as he saw Shu Ye, he seemed to be looking at something very precious and meaningful to her. However, he always considered Shu Ye to be one of the servants in his residence.

”Shu Ye, hide behind Grandma.” Yuanyi said as she pushed Shu Ye backwards.

Lun Heiyun looked at them with a serious look, like a mountain that would erupt when he could not bear the weight contained in his dam. His hands clenched firmly and his teeth were grinding in annoyance. ”... Who's the kid behind you?” ask Lun Heiyun.

Yu Yuanyi looked back at him seriously and asked, ”Have you not noticed that feeling all along? Don't you know that Shu Ye is your own Son? All this time he's been living with me and you've never seen him or looked at his face so much like yours?” he said with a snarl.

Lun Heiyun was silent for a while. Shortly after, he laughed so much that he had to cover his forehead and look up as if to say that this was all a very funny joke that almost made someone faint when he heard it.

”You said he's my son?” lun Heiyun asked as she looked at him with an expression like a madman who lost everything. ”... You're saying he's my son? Do I believe it?! You think, I don't know that Xuanlu always teases men whenever I go out?!” he said so angrily that it made Shu Ye get scared.

He's mad! Really angry even to the point of thinking that Shu Ye is an illegitimate child!

Shortly after, Lun Heiyun finally looked much calmer than before. He stepped closer to his sword and then walked out of his room in a hurry even to the point of slamming Yu Yuanyi's shoulders away from him.

”Heiyun! Where are you going with that sword?!” asked Yu Yuanyi who looked worried.

Instantly Lun Heiyun's footsteps fell silent on the spot and turned a little backwards. ”... To kill the lac*r woman I married.” he replied as he walked towards somewhere.

”Wait! Heiyun! Don't do it!” shouted Yu Yuanyi who was trying to chase after him. However, this step of his came to a halt when Shu Ye pulled on his sleeves and looked at him with a sad expression.

”Does he hate me? Why does he look so angry?” ask Shu Ye.

”Big master! Enemy's coming!” shouted a young man along with the arrival of a big bang that destroyed a small building to a large one. And because of that, suddenly the sky was covered with cloudy even the sun as if reluctant to illuminate the residence.

This voice was clearly coming from the front page. Yu Yuanyi then ran there to see what was happening. Sure enough, there was currently a young man standing amidst the human corpses surrounding him. The young man was eating something in his hand. And as soon as he saw blood springing up everywhere, Yu Yuanyi instantly got a very bad premonition.

He quickly ran towards Shu Ye and took her somewhere before the bad thing hit him.

As the two tried to escape from the residence, the sound of shouting was heard everywhere and even from a considerable distance, both of them were able to hear the sound of Lun Heiyun's cries being so tormented.

”Grandpa! Why do we get out of here? Why does that scream keep sounding?” asked Shu Ye who was staying in Yu Yuanyi's arms at the moment.

Yu Yuanyi directly replied, ”There is no time to ask, Shu Ye. Right now we have to leave this place.” he said as he ran through a pile of dead bodies since then.

However, just as the two had reached the back gate and they only needed to run past it, suddenly the figure of the young man appeared and blocked the path of the two of them.

The man came with the head of the dead Lun Heiyun in his hand. Then, after he saw the existence of Yu Yuanyi and Shu Ye who immediately stopped before him, he threw the head until it stopped in front of both feet. It certainly made Shu Ye experience a huge pressure even almost made him vomit.

The young man said nothing to her. However, his movements seemed to move to kill him. And at that very instant, Yu Yuanyi immediately knelt before him and said, ”Please, let this child live! You can take my life when I manage to take it to safety.” he said with fear.

The man was silent for a while and started walking past him then stopped behind him. He slightly turned to her and said, ”... I'll give you a chance. Go while I'm still being kind to you. I thought you guys would be so happy to see this guy die before you.”

The word this person must be referring to Lun Heiyun who died in his hands.

As soon as he heard his reply, Yu Yuanyi immediately ran away from the residence still carrying Shu Ye who continued to hug him. He continued to run without direction and he did not know that he was running towards a deep abyss.

When he reached the bottom of the ravine, Yu Yuanyi looked worried. The shout continued to sound in their ears like there was no end to it whereas Shu Ye still looked extremely frightened by it.

”Don't cry, Shu Ye. Grandma is here to protect you.” Yu Yuanyi said gently.

However, due to the scent of blood attached to their clothes, the savage animals living in the forest woke up and walked straight to him. Although the scent was very thick with the Lun residence, these beasts did not dare to go there because they knew that the seventh Demon King was currently eating his dishes.

”Very dangerous! How can I go through this?!” inner Yu Yu Yuanyi who was starting to get anxious. He can't hope for anyone and can only rely on himself.
