CHAPTRE. 18 - REQUEST

Three days later.

”Dad! Teach me how to use the sword!” exclaimed Shin Yixuan who ran over to Luo Hein while she was plucking out some wild-growing roses in her backyard.

As Shin Yixuan called out to him, Luo Hein turned her head back and immediately replied, ”No.” in short.

Shin Yixuan who heard the answer felt very surprised and immediately said back, ”But, Father! I want to be able to protect myself! Teach me that I can grow strong like Dad!” he said with a serious face.

Luo Hein looked at him lazily and said, ”I told you I don't want it. Practice with your Mother. I'm busy!”

”Cih!” Shin Yixuan instantly distracted her and grumbled, ”... All I see is, Dad just pulled out the roses that grew here and broke them when they looked beautiful. Don't you have another job? Comeon! Teach me how to use the sword!”

Instantly, Shin Yixuan's happy face turned into astonishment and disbelief at her words. ”... You're not gonna make it up again, are you? Last time, I almost fell from a cliff high enough.”

”Your own fault for climbing the cliff. I never told you to do that, did I?” it was Luo Hein's chirp that made Shin Yixuan put on her flat expression. ”... Then, as a condition, I want you to find an egg that you can find in the forest.”

Shin Yixuan looked at him in surprise and asked back, ”What do you mean by eggs?”

Luo Hein replied, ”Which eggs are in the forest. I don't care if it's a bird's egg or a snake's egg, the most important thing is that you come back with an egg.”

”If I manage to bring it, will Dad teach me right away?” asked Shin Yixuan enthusiastically.

Luo Hein nodded and replied, ”Of course.”

After seeing him off, Luo Hein seemed to have calmed down a little. ”Really?” shu Ye asked with a look of disbelief. ”... If it's an easy task, why haven't you found it yet?”

Instantly, Shin Yixuan instantly fell silent and stopped her steps. Looking at his lowered face, made Shu Ye think about his words for the second time. ”It feels like there is nothing wrong in my words? Or is he just being too irritable?” inner Shu Ye thought about it.

As he kept silent and did not change his position since then, Shu Ye started to feel anxious and tried to touch his shoulder. ”... Why just shut up? You're not sad, are you?” asked Shu Ye who was standing behind him.

”That's it!” exclaimed Shin Yixuan who immediately raised her head until she hit the face of Shu Ye who was behind her. He did not care about Shu Ye who was grimacing in pain because of her face. He pointed to a large tree on which was a large bird's nest and there were several eggs that had not yet hatched.

”I'll take it!” exclaimed Shin Yixuan who immediately ran towards him and climbed up the tree slowly.

”Maybe he sees such a small thing. Does he not want to apologize to me first?” shu Ye grumbled in his mind while watching Shin Yixuan who was climbing her tree. ”A tree that big, can he climb it himself? Looks like someone's moving up there.”

As he tried to climb it up to the point that it was high enough from above the ground, suddenly something surprised him. Accidentally, his hand held the mouth of a giant green snake that was wrapped around the tree. When he realized it, he felt very surprised and immediately let go of both hands. As a result, he immediately fell from the top of the tree without any cues.

However, a hand caught it from below and the huge snake on top of it hid directly into the dense foliage. It was like seeing a shadow he had never seen before. His face was very rarely seen and his eyeballs also looked like waves on the seabed.

He tried to touch his face a little so that he stunned the young man and looked at him. ”... Whose sister is this?” ask Shin Yixuan.

”Hei! You okay there?” exclaimed Shu Ye who was running towards him as soon as they had the arrival of some guests.

Shin Yixuan nodded and looked back at the young man in front of her. Her orange hair was like twilight and her eyeballs were sea-colored, making her feel good about it. However, he still wondered what the name of this young man was.

”Who is this brother and why is sister coming with the crowd?” asked Shin Yixuan who was still staring at him.

The young man was stunned. Shortly after, he showed a soft smile as he said, ”... I'm from Zhu Palace. My name is Hu Lingge.”
