The Future of Princess Sabina

The Future of Princess Sabina
Chapter 12: Meeting the Name of the Enemy in the Future

I was locked up in a police interrogation room. It had been a few hours; my head was pounding, and worst of all, I was suffering from a terrible thirst, because no one had acknowledged my request for a glass of water. The door opened, and came the same security officer who had questioned me at the airport the day before. I looked at him in disbelief; why did the immigration officer from the airport come to question me? The man felt my confusion and reached out to greet me. “Miss Sabina Hines, we meet again. I didn't introduce myself the last time we met. I'm Special Agent Dov Dorevitch, from the Agency Staking Mossad.”

Dorevitch Dov! That name makes me shiver. It was the name of the genocidal dictator on Mars, who I defeated at the age of 7 in 2882, eight and a half centuries into the future. Could this be the same person, or just a coincidence that they have the same name? I studied the man in front of me. Obviously, it was not the same soul, nor was it the same appearance, and it was just pressure that caused my mind to play tricks on me.

Dov spoke again. “So, Miss Hines, the security footage shows that you held the suicide bomber's hand and looked him in the eye , moments before the explosion exploded. Do you care to explain? "

I realized that I had to use my divine power to get out of this mess . Dov is quite difficult at the airport without attack *******. I wanted to try talking first; however, so I responded. “Yes, she looks agitated , so I try to calm her down. Unfortunately, I can't do it . ”

Dov was watching me in silence for a while. I don't know if he's thinking about something or whether silence and observation are his interrogation approaches. Finally, he spoke. “The terrorist was carrying a bomb belt with a dozen bombs full of shrapnel. These nine bombs exploded, killing and wounding many innocent people. The three that don't explode, are the ones facing you. I want you to tell me why these three bombs didn't explode? ” Dov's tone and implied accusations piss me off. I survived a tragedy, and instead of receiving proper treatment and care, I was exposed to toxic accusations by the man in front of me.

I snapped at Dov and shouted. "I don't know why the bomb didn't go off. Maybe Yussuf tamed them . ”

I bit my tongue and realized my mistake. I haven't spoken to Yussuf, but I know his name. This will not help prove my innocence, and I will have to use my strength to get out of this mess. When anticipated, Dov noticed these details, and he yelled back at me. " How do you know the name *******? You arrived yesterday, and you were not seen talking to him before the explosion . "

I froze. I have to come up with something to convince Dov of his innocence, but will I make up a story about how I know Yussuf's name, or I have to overcome the elephant in the room : How did Yussuf manage to get through the security checkpoints? I decided to go with the last one.

I grabbed Dov's hand and focused my empathic abilities on influencing his mind. " What you should really focus on, "I fell silent, trying to get the words out before continuing, "... is how Yussuf passed through a security checkpoint unwittingly on his way to the Western Wall."

I studied Dov as his facial expression changed. I have managed to influence him in the right direction, and hopefully, inserting will lead him to the real criminals behind this heinous crime. With a concerned look on his face, Dov replied. "I believe you, Sabina. Our efforts need to be directed to finding the people responsible for letting Yussuf through our security checkpoint. "

Dov's request surprised me. I hope he will trust me and let me go. But asking me, an outsider, to help with his research? Did he feel my strength or did he test me? I grabbed Dov's hand more tightly and established a telepathic relationship with him. "Why do you need my help, Dov?" I asked.

“I know it ! You are an empath! I'll get you out of here, just follow my lead. ” Dov replied, and before I knew it, he took me out of the room.

Dov grabbed my arm and was intercepted by one of his comrades. “Where did you bring the girl? He's still a suspect. ” Fellow Dov commented.

“I brought him back to the hotel. He is innocent and has a reasonable explanation of how he knew the name *******! " Dov snoring. Before his partner had time to answer, Dov dragged me to the elevator, and we ended up in the basement of the building.

Dov took me to his car. "Get in the car!" he commanded.

"I'd rather take a cab back to the hotel." I retaliated.

Dov took off his coat which revealed the pistol he was carrying. "Get in the car now, I don't like asking twice." Dov hissed at me.

I nodded and got into the car. Dov sat in the driver's seat and drove away from the garage quickly. I sat in the car and thought about what I was going to do. Dov was speeding, too fast for conditions such as heavy rain and a storm in the sky. I realized that I was too careless, when Dov turned from the main road and turned into a small gravel road without street lights. I was alone with a gunman and was unstable . I hope that he will be a friend and not an enemy.

After driving for another ten minutes, we arrived at a small hut that seemed to be abandoned. "Get out!" Dov hissed, and I got out of the car. The cold winter rain bit my bones, and the coldness of the fear I felt was in this spooky location. Suddenly, I heard gunshots, and I took refuge on the ground .
