Chapter 77: I Choose Love and Hope.

I woke up the next day in a hospital bed. Alex and Keila stood by my bed. Keila returned to her usual beautiful self with bright blue eyes, and clean skin, unlike the demons I had seen the night before.

Alex looked at me with worried eyes and spoke, "What happened last night? You and Keila were found unconscious at Trenerry Reserve. Keila said you were attacked by a masked man? "

"Yes, Martin Al-Sham reappeared, "I said while thinking. "What's? Wh why? What does she want? " Alex asked in surprise. “He blames me for his wife's death and his disability. She revealed something to make my life miserable, as her revenge.” I retaliated. "That doesn't make sense. Martin's wife kidnapped me, and she forced you on a dangerous expedition. Whatever happened to him and his wife while you were in a coma is unlikely to be your fault. ” Words Alex.

I thought about revealing how I deliberately killed the remaining members of the Monokel conspiracy, after defeating Rangda, but I stopped myself. I don't want to admit this side of myself to Alex, and other than that it has nothing to do with Alex. At least that's what I think. Instead I replied, “I know. Martin is a deceived lunatic. He even claimed to be my real father! ”

“It's getting worse. We need to hire guards to protect us. " Said Alex.

“ There is no point doing that. Martin will not return. He has made his statement. " I answered with consideration.

Alex shook his head and replied, "It's not negotiable. I need to know that wife and child are protected when there's a madman out to hurt you!” Alex insists.

I smiled tiredly at Alex. I am glad that my husband wants to protect us. "Okay, you won. We will hire bodyguards until it is confirmed that Martin Al-Sham was arrested or has left the country. " I told you.

Being a man of action, Alex picks up the phone and goes straight to action. As I listened to her call, I realized that I had to tell the truth about Keila. That's the only way, to protect my talented and beautiful daughter from turning into Rangda's embodiment.

"What did he say?" Alex asked.

“He revealed that Keila's father, Brahma, was Rangda's uncle. So, Keila is Rangda's cousin, and they share eight hours of the same DNA. " I said in a sad voice.

"Don't worry. That's just more lies than crazy crazy people. ” Alex replied nonchalantly.

"Unfortunately no. Martin tricked Keila into nearly killing our cat, Luna. When he held the knife, I saw the sign of Rangda, the shining purple eye. “I declare in a grim voice.

Hearing this gripped Alex in fear and she walked back and forth in the room. Keila broke the silence. "What's going on, dad? And who are Brahma and Rangda?” Keila asked innocently. I feel stupid, Keila is a very intelligent five-year-old, and I must not talk about her in front of him. “Rangda is your cousin and Martin's friend. They're both bad guys, that's why they're trying to hurt us. ” Answer me. “Okay, mummy. I hungry. Can I eat fruit? ” Keila asked. “Yes, mummy still hurts. Go with dad to the cafeteria, and he'll give you some fruit. " I reply.

When Alex and Keila left my hospital room, I felt determined. I will not let fear and hate take my loved ones away from me. I will choose love and hope to mold Keila into an extraordinary woman, and together we will work for a better world.
