Anna did not know whether she should cry or laugh when she saw the "young man" Thomas mentioned.
It was a young man who had only worked for less than a year! His name is Daniel Collins.
Yes, he is a newcomer with incredible potential. But no matter how great he was and how much potential he had, the young man was just a newcomer who had only worked for less than a year!
How could he have the ability and qualifications to take over such a big event?

Anna didn't know if she should cry or laugh." Mr Mayo, is this what is called training? You're obviously forcing her to perform now!"

Thomas asked first, "Daniel, how much are you paying for tonight's concert?"
Daniel smiled. "Mr Mayo, are you kidding me? Didn't the company say that they wanted to give me a chance to perform, so you purposely promoted me to be the assistant host at this concert? I'm honored to participate, but I won't accept the payment."
Thomas awkwardly coughed. He silently looked at Anna, and his eyes seemed to say, "He's our own celebrity, but you shouldn't be so stingy, right?"
Anna touched her nose without saying anything.
Thomas continued, "Now, I think as a host, you don't have enough motivation and stress, so you may not be able to trigger your own potential to the fullest. So, I decided to improve the limiting condition for you."
"Huh? Mr Mayo, you want me to do what?"
Thomas grinned. "Easy. If you perform very well as the host this time, I'll pay you $2,000,000!"

Daniel felt a lightning strike on his head. Is Thomas kidding? Two million dollars? That young man is making $100,000 a year now.
