Chapter 9 Cooperation
Early in the day before sunrise, Prince Louis and General Frederick along with 12 selected soldiers sailed using 3 small ships in the port city of Dylurd. Count Kylar escorted them and made sure that no one had seen them leave. Prince Louis wears a veil and a headband and leather shoes to make himself look like an ordinary merchant, she also wears a makeup to make eye bags and facial wrinkles difficult to recognize.
The departure of Prince Louis and his team is a big secret that only a few people know. After sailing long enough until the afternoon, Prince Louis and his entourage reached the sea border between the Federation and the Empire.
Meanwhile, in the city of United, one of the generals named General Leo received a letter while he was in his room. After reading the letter, General Leo smiled then went to the port city of United.
As the sun was about to set, the twilight glow gleamed gently in the western sky, coloring the sky with soothing shades of orange and purple, finally Prince Louis and his entourage arrived at the port. Before they docked, some Federation soldiers approached them then checked the items they were carrying.
“Where are you guys from?” said one of the Federation soldiers.
"We are merchants from the Empire" said General Frederick with a face trying to disguise his identity. "I'm with my son and 12 others carrying various items from the Empire and intend to sell them here."
“Empire? Did you guys know the Federation is at war with the Empire?” ask the soldier with a cynical look. “Incoming tax 3fold!”
General Leo saw the signs given by the letter, then realized that the entourage being examined by the army was the entourage of the Empire. General Leo approached the soldier who was inspecting the items from the Imperial entourage. He held the Federation army's shoulders with confidence, signaling that the entourage was allowed to enter. "They're my acquaintances, let them in. I ordered a few things from them" General Leo smiled, hinting that he had known of the group's arrival before.
“Jendral” said the soldier was surprised. “Please dock, do not have to pay taxes,” he said while holding back annoyance.
Prince Louis and his entourage then docked safely and stayed around the harbor. The next morning, General Leo and someone went to see Prince Louis at the inn. The three of them spoke inside the inn room, while Prince Louis' troops stood guard outside the door and in front of the inn.
“Include me, I am Leo, one of the Generals of the Federation,” General Leo said with a smile. “I have read a letter from Princess Mitia. I received a cooperation offer with y'all”
Prince Louis opened his headband. The atmosphere turned tense, General Leo looked astonished at Prince Louis who had actually infiltrated the Federation area. Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Wein looked at Prince Louis with annoyance and anger.
“General Leo, I thank you for receiving cooperation from the Empire. Hopefully this cooperation can be beneficial for both parties,” said Prince Louis with a sharp gaze. “General Leo, who is the young man sitting next to you?” prince Louis asked.
“He is one of the best Lieutenant Generals in the Federation. I asked him to make our plans for this war,” General Leo said.
Lieutenant General Wein adjusted his breathing to remain calm in this tense situation. “Include, I am Wein Von Darte, one of the Federation's Lieutenant-General,” Letjen Wein said as he tried to smile. “But before that, if allowed, I want to ask Prince Louis something.”
Prince Louis looks anxious when he hears the surname of Lieutenant General Wein is the Darte family. “Please Lieutenant General Wein, I will try to answer him,” Prince Louis said as he tried to remain calm.
"I had expected that the Federation would be at war with the Empire since the political marriage plan between Princess Mitia and Prince Louis. However, surprisingly, the Empire first declared war on the Federation" Lieutenant General Wein said with a serious look. "Why can the Empire declare war first than the Federation? What's your goal, Prince Louis? And what was the Empire's purpose in this war?" letgen Wein asked in a cold voice.
“This war will be the beginning of the world revolution. The world that now needs to be destroyed and rebuilt by the Empire, and I will!” prince Louis said with confidence.
Hearing the statement from Prince Louis, General Leo and Lieutenant General Wein took it very seriously. Their expressions were visibly alarmed by the fate of the Federation if under the leadership of Prince Louis were so ambitious in his goals.
“World revolution? Does that mean the Federation will become a stepping stone for the Empire in order to realize that goal?” ask Lieutenant General Wein worried.

The heated atmosphere between Prince Louis and Lieutenant General Wein slowly became warm and soothing as the two sides had agreed to work together. The strategy meeting began, and the three of them exchanged ideas to plan the conquest of the guild city. The meeting was concluded at noon with a very detailed plan drawn up by Lieutenant General Wein based on the contribution of ideas from Prince Louis and General Leo.

Lieutenant General Wein proposed the Chief of Military, the entire Lieutenant General and the Fourth General gathered in one room. Their faces looked anxious and worried about the emergency news that Lt. Wein was about to deliver. The four Generals sat around a table filled with war documents. They were General Leo, General Hammer, General Viktor, and General Wise who served as the Chief of the Military.
“What's the Lieutenant General?” ask the Military Chief to worry.
"I just received a report from a reconnaissance unit that I assigned to the southern coastal area of United City. They reported that there were several ships anchored on the beach" said Lieutenant General Wein, opening a map of the United States City war path. "Most likely it was a ship from the Empire. We must take immediate action!" lt Gen Wein.
"Empire? Are you sure? They should have been weak in military strength in the sea area" General Viktor said, thinking.
"That's right, the Empire cannot attack this City by sea" General Wise said firmly. "Unless, the Empire has allied itself with countries in the middle east" General Wise said assuming.
The atmosphere became not conducive, seen some generals do not believe the report said by Lieutenant General Wein. “This is not the time to argue or think. We must act immediately before it is too late!” general Leo said firmly. “If the Empire attacks the southern part of the city of United then it is certain that this city will be destroyed in a matter of days,” said General Leo seriously.
“True, I agree with General Leo,” General Hammer said.
A few hours later, the meeting was finally over. General Hammer and his two trusted Lieutenant-General and his troops will go to the southern coast of the United States city to face the Imperial Army.
