On Monday Roni and I took care of the permit to the government office. Upon completion of the requirements, the competent officer informs that the permit will be issued within fourteen working days. Once the licensing business is completed, we then meet with the landowner who will sell his land for the construction of the foundation branch. Mr. Ramli, the seller, told us that he would not sell the land if it were not for the benefit of humanity. He hopes that the branch of the foundation will be able to help children around to get better educational opportunities.
Arriving home, I sent some emails to Aunt Meli, reporting on some things that had been completed, that were being taken care of, or that would be resolved within a few days of my being here. Aunty Meli replied to my email by informing me that the land acquisition business needs to be handled directly by Alex because the RS Group requested to be given full responsibility about building construction. Then our business is almost done here. The recruitment of the foundation board and the collection of children who will be helped I leave it to Roni and other friends.
So far so good.
Great job, Kayra. I give spirit to myself.
Beeps. Beeps. Beeps. An incoming message was captured by the ear.
Alex: Kay, your town is rock!
He then sent me a hand-drawn emoji rock n roll.
Alex: I’m sorry I can’t help you today
Alex: see you this evening
I chuckle at the thought of Alex being excited as he surrounds two beautiful cities in West Sumatra while holding his super-sophisticated camera. He must be saturated with work that takes a lot of time to have fun. I knew I would.
I immediately typed a reply message.
Me: It’s OK, you’re the boss
Me: just enjoy it while you can
Me: because tomorrow we want to meet the land seller to deal with land acquisition

I don't know what time Bang Rian and Alex are back from their fun trip. Clearly, when I went outside for breakfast the next morning, I had already found the two men sitting at the dinner table with slightly haggard faces.
Hm. I think they got home in the middle of the night. However, I could see that the quilt of their faces was inversely proportional to the twinkle emanating from the point of their eyes. Especially Alex's eyes.
Well, I'm very happy to observe eyeballs with that beautiful color. Blue seas. The blue reminds me of the fun on the beach and makes me want to dive into it.
Ah, there's-there's just.
“You look so tired, Lex. If you want I can rearrange the schedule to meet Mr. Ramli so tomorrow.” I looked at Alex who was sitting next to the driver. We were on the way to Roni's house to pick her up.
He looked sleepy after he finished telling his journey yesterday. Bang Rian also drove him around Lake Singkarak and looking for fish typical of the lake with some young people around because Alex forced. “No, ah. It's okay, I'm just sleepy. But, it's okay, right, if I sleep first while you drive? After that we can stop at one of the SPBU near the house of Mr. Ramli. I'll be cleaning up there,” Alex's pinta before yawning wide.
I nodded and smiled. “Okay. If that's what you want.”
"Thanks, Kay. You're the best." Alex immediately lowered the seat back to find a comfortable position and fell asleep within seconds.
Substantial.
After the indiscriminate emotions that had previously closed my eyes lifted, I began to see similarities between us. Besides being dedicated, he was also as stubborn as me.
Ckcc. Hey, Pot. Meet kettle's.

I had to give Roni a code to not be noisy as she got on and closed the car door slowly. Looking at the slumbering Alex, Roni could only shake his head.
We arrived at the gas station near Mr Ramli's house and Alex showed no signs of waking up. Seeing her deep sleep, I did not reach my heart to wake her up. Finally, Roni and I agreed to go straight to Mr. Ramli's house without disturbing Alex.
Maybe he'll be angry, maybe not. However, I will not force him to wake up from his deep. He needs more time to rest. After all, it might not be a good thing if Mr. Ramli had to meet a company representative as big as RS Group with a tangled look full of ugly wrinkles and a super duper cranky attitude.
Nope. No. It just sounds so uncomfortable.
We get to the house and get out of the car immediately, leaving Alex still curled up in the dream world. Thank God there's a shady tree in Mr. Ramli's yard so I can park the car underneath. I also intentionally not to turn off the engine so that the car AC can continue to turn on.
Duh, duh, duh. Alex, Alex.

Maybe it was Alex's hand line to deal with this problem directly because it turns out Mr. Ramli had a sudden family affair. The daughter-in-law who lived with her last night was ushered into the maternity home to give birth to the first granddaughter of Ramli's extended family. He and his wife had just finished preparing and were about to set off to see his newborn grandson when we came.
“Duh, I'm so sorry, Son Roni, Kayra. We'll finish the business tomorrow, it's okay, okay? I don't want to avoid it, but I have to go to the hospital now. I hope you both understand.” Mr. Ramli gave an explanation while waiting for his wife to finish packing the needs of his son-in-law.
“Iya, Sir, we understand,” replied Roni. “Then we'll excuse you, sir. We'll be back tomorrow. Or we should think we will wait for confirmation from you first. Isn't that right, sir?”
"Ah, yes, yes, yes" said Mr. Ramli as he shook our hands one by one. "So is better. Let's not make it as hard here as it is now." The sixty-year-old father laughed with a fairly obvious awkwardness.
"It's not hard, sir." I dispute. "By the way, congratulations on the birth of the first grandchild of the family. May Mother and Baby always be healthy."
"Thank you very much, son Kayra."
At that time I saw Mother Ratna approaching us in the living room with a cloth bag patterned cute animals with festive colors. "Together, Sir. Then, excuse me. Congratulations again, sir, Mom. Excuse me."
Arriving at the car, Alex was still fast asleep. Roni and I chuckled and shook our heads.
Duh, duh, duh. Alex ... Alex.
To be continued ....
