Tough Widow

Tough Widow
Approximating

"If you really want to marry me, ask your mother for her blessing. Because I wouldn't want to be your wife without her blessing."

Ayu's words continued to ring adorning Angga's ears. Not because it wasn't good, but he felt it was a big deal.

"Why you?" ask a new guy who has arrived. He sat beside the dreamy looking Angga.

The atmosphere of the cafe looks crowded. However, for Angga the place was very quiet uninhabited. He glanced at it then focused on the warm latte that was in front of him.

"What did you order, brother?" screaming sounds from behind.

The man beside Angga looked over. "Order orange ice," he shouted.

Yes, she is Dika. The only person Angga trusted to carry out everything about him, including personal matters.

"I will get married" said Angga lirih.

The person who said it must be happy. But not with Angga, he just looks sad.

Dika smiled broadly patted the wide back of the friend.

"It turns out the man too. I guess you don't dare to take a girl. What woman made you fall in love?" goda Dika raised his eyebrows. Take a drink from the tray of a waitress. Stir and then gulp it.

"His name is Ayu Lestari. He's his ex-wife Ikram."

Instantly Dika chokes on a drink that almost goes into the esophagus. He put a glass on the table and grabbed a tissue and rubbed his wet lips.

"You love widows?" ask Dika to repeat. Make sure he doesn't hear wrong.

"Yes, why?" ask Angga cynically. He can catch the dislike of Dika when revealing the status of the woman he loves.

The sound of laughter made Angga close his ears. It was as if the man was laughing at her which was currently shrouded in uneasiness.

"You're all there, anyway, Ga. There are still many virgins in this world. They're pretty, too, but why did you choose a widow?" It was as if Dika had demeaned the status of the widowed Ayu.

Angga fell silent, he did not want to argue with Dika and turned his brain to look for words to ask for his mother's blessing.

"My wife has friends. She's pretty in college, rich kid. If you want I'll introduce you to her." Dika continued to laugh while holding his stomach.

Braaakkk

Angga kicked down the table which made Dika surprised and wide. He gulped down the rest of his drink to unravel his shock at Angga's fiery face.

"I'm not here to ask you to comment, but ask for your help" Angga cried out in a loud voice until some people around him turned their heads.

"Ba–well, what can I help you with," said Dika with trembling lips. This was the first time he had seen Angga get angry.

Angga took a deep breath.

"How can I convince my mother that she will accept Ayu" Angga explained.

He tapped his finger on the table. Think hard to help a friend who seems troubled.

"Have Ayu and Aunt Winda met each other?" tanya Dika started intimidating.

Angga. "I'm afraid mama is insulting Ayu. I can't bear to see my loved ones hurt by your mama's words."

"But at least they should meet first, Ga. That way your mama knows Ayu more deeply. And vice versa. They should know each other's character."

Angga did think like that, but his fear was greater until he undoed his intentions.

"Is there any other way?" ask Angga. This time his brain was dead-end and unable to think clearly.

Dika exhaled slowly.

"So, but I'm not sure it's gonna work." Dika is a little doubtful.

"You often buy something for your mama but in the name of Ayu. For example, his favorite food or clothes, or others. Usually women will melt with gifts of luxury goods."

Angga digested every word that slid from Dika's lips. He hoped it was a way to unite them.

"Alright, thanks. I'm going home." Angga grabbed his suit. Put some money on the table and leave Dika.

Dika smiled while shaking his head.

"Strong as well as the Angga. Many virgins but why did she choose a widow, what was the privilege of that woman?"

Dika also curious about the figure of Ayu who has managed to make his best friend fall in love. He opened social media looking for the identity of an Ayu Lestari. Hope Angga does not choose his life companion.

Before returning home, Angga stopped by Ayu's house and said he would immediately ask her for her blessing. He could not calm down before making sure the woman was okay.

"Greetings to your mama." Ayu supports Angga's good intentions.

Whether it works or not, at least I tried.

"Do you have any food?" Angga stared at the dining table.

"Some, I thought you were going to have lunch here. But if you want to go home, don't take it." Come back to the dining table. He took a bushel and put some food into his, leaving it to himself and the children.

"It's for you, and your mama."

"His name is Winda, you can call him Aunt Winda," explained Angga took the bushel that was in Ayu's hands.

Shifting his body even closer to Ayu. Glancing left right ensures that no one else. Without warning, Angga kissed the head of the lover covered with hijab.

"I'm sorry, just think of it as a sign of goodbye."

Angga hurried away before being lectured by Ayu.

Arriving at home, Angga immediately approached the girl who looked relaxed in the living room.

May mama melt with Ayu's kindness.

"Ma, there's a seat from Ayu. This sauteed papaya flower same __" Angga stopped his speech. The food called Ayu.

"I forgot, we eat yuk! I'm hungry." Angga embraces the shoulder of Missa.

"Do not want, you just eat alone," refused Missus bu ketus then moved from her seat.

However, his steps stopped as Angga blocked his path.

"OK, from now on I will try to open my heart to Nara," said Angga heavily.

Miss Winda smiled. Cupping both cheeks firmly the son.

"really?"

Angga. "But on one condition" said Angga, holding up a bushel in his hand.

"Mama should also appreciate Ayu as my friend. Accept whatever he gives and never hate him" said Angga from the heart.

That's not from Dika. However, he hopes that it will succeed and make Ayu's kindness valuable in Bu Winda's eyes.

"Don't mom agree."

Unwittingly Bu Winda enjoys simple preparations from Ayu. It is undeniable that it feels like shaking the tongue.

A husband will melt with dishes, hopefully mama will also receive Ayu soon.

Little by little Angga began to be convinced and would continue to make his mother comfortable with everything related to Ayu.
