Three months passed
Ayu went through her life of being a mother as well as a father. Day and night accompanied her three children. Caring for them with affection that will not be replaced. Although his salary as a waitress in the restaurant is small, he is able to meet daily needs, including paying rent.
"My book is ripped, Ma." Hanan pointed at his favorite shirt that was hollow in the armpit.
"Awhile, dear. Mama finish this first." Ayu arranged the food at the dining table. Today he is not working because he will meet with a lawyer who takes care of his divorce. He deliberately never came to court and asked Mr. Angga to take care of everything.
"Today mama wants to go for a while, Hanan take care of Alifa, later in the afternoon we take a walk up andong," Ayu explained so that Hanan did not protest with his departure.
Hanan's eyes sparkled. After a long time confined in the house, he was finally able to breathe the air outside. Even though it was just riding andong, it had already made him smile crisply.
"We'll eat at the restaurant later, Ma?"
Ayu nodded instantly. Yesterday he just got paid, and once delighted his children to eat out.
Hopefully after this I can get a better job and be able to send Hanan to school.
I kept praying and trying to give them my best. For him living poor is not an obstacle for his three children to pursue higher education.
Following Alifa who looked glum in the room, while Adiba was still drowning in his dreamland.
"What's wrong with you, son?" Ayu approached Alifa and faced in the same direction.
"Where are you going, Ma? Why don't you ever stay with us again?"
Alifa was writhing spoiled in Ayu's arm. His request was like a demand he could not fulfill.
If Hanan had already begun to understand the circumstances of his parents. Not for Alfah, he assumed his father was going out of town, would go home and live with them again.
"There's already a mama here, so Alifa doesn't have to ask papa anymore. Mama would do anything for Alifa." Kissing the boy's puffed cheeks and hugging him tightly. Continue to seduce him so that he can forget the Ikram.
Alifa nodded, despite the shackling longing, Ayu's remark made her forget a little.
Ayu goes to a restaurant to meet with Mr. Angga. Like a woman without a burden, she walks. Upholding his head and putting on a firm face has become a characteristic of the Ayu Lestari people.
"Sorry, Sir. I'm a little late." Ayu sat in front of sir.
"No papa, Mom. I know for a fact that mom was very busy after her divorce from Mr. Ikram."
Pak Angga took out some files from his bag and thrust in front of Ayu.
"This is a letter from the court" said Mr. Angga lirih. Explain the contents of the letter.
"But the mother is calm, the children will get money from Pak Ikram every month, and that is the absolute decision of the court."
Ayu smiled and put the file inside, the bag. "Thank you for helping me." He cupped his hands in front of the lawyer.
The phone rang which made Mr. Angga say goodbye.
"It's got a little money from me for Hanan." Giving Ayu a brown envelope.
Ayu rejected it. However, Pak forced and put the Angga's money into Ayu's bag then ran in a hurry.
"Am I too pitiful to be pitied by others?" Small smile. Then he left to fulfill his promise to Hanan.
However, his steps stopped as the familiar voice called out to him from behind.
"I think our business is done. So there's nothing to talk about anymore" Ayu said without turning her head.
"I just want to remind you that from today on we have no relationship anymore. So don't you ever call me."
Ayu laughed freely, inevitably he had to speak up. Ikram no longer wants to think he is still hopeful, because from the bottom of his heart he does not want to return to the man.
"From the beginning I left, even if I had no intention of contacting you, so be calm! Because I can live without you" said Ayu sure. It shows that Ikram is not the one who makes him weak. However, with that incident Ayu got a lot of lessons and will not depend on others, even if it is the closest person.
Ayu leaves Ikram while remembering her promise to Hanan.
Like other children, the lips of Alifa and Hanan continue to review smiles when Ayu invites them to ride Andong. Besides being able to enjoy the beauty of the city center more freely, this is the first time Hanan knows the traditional vehicle directly.
Maybe that way he can make his three children forget about Ikram. He did not want to see them sad because they had to lose a father.
"Did Hanan like this ride?" ayu asked after the horse started speeding between the other vehicles.
"Likes, Mom. Later Hanan can tell a story with __" Stop her speech and bow her head.
"Who's with you, son?" tanya Ayu made sure.
"With bi Ninik," he said a lie.
"Oh.." Ayu just beryo Oh ria back to sing the delman song on Alifa and Adiba.
Satisfied riding andong, they descend in front of a restaurant to grant Hanan's request. Especially today Ayu obeyed all the requests of her children.
While Ayu was enjoying her meal, suddenly someone came to her.
Someone who is not a stranger in Ayu's eyes. Although he had been separated for a long time, he did not forget the face of the man.
"Calvin," Ayu put down her spoon and moved.
"It turns out you still remember me, Yu." Calvin smiled. Staring at Hanan and Alifa who were busy with their respective food.
Ayu clucked in annoyance.
"They're your children?" calvin's question rubbed Alifa's head and Hanan took turns.
"Yes, and this is the smallest." He pointed at Adiba who was beside him.
"Can I join?"
Ayu looked at the empty chair and nodded. Calvin is sitting down.
After ten years of not greeting each other, they look familiar. In fact, Calvin is able to make Hanan and Alifa continue to laugh with his cuteness.
"Where is your husband, by the way?" ask Calvin.
Ayu smiled wryly. From the heart, reluctant to discuss the Kram, but he must answer all the questions addressed to him.
"I and Ikram are divorced" replied Ayu lazily. "That's it, don't talk about it anymore." Ayu switched the conversation.
He did not want to remember the man who had made the lives of his children suffer. For him, the Bible is dead now.
Calvin did not ask again. He could see there were strokes of disappointment on the woman's face.
"I'm sorry" said Calvin, filled with regret.
