TUMBLED

TUMBLED
Scars

Agus sat languidly in the living room of his house which was based on a mat. Although Andi was buried, but he still did not want the child so quickly left.

Andi's narrow house is now filled with mourners who want to join in expressing their sorrow. No exception Pak Yanto. The big tall man sat next to Agus and his wife.

"This is a little help from our family. I hope it helps." Mr. Yanto gave one brown envelope containing five million dollars to Agus. "You too I allow three days of work leave during your mourning, Gus."

Agus received the thick envelope while looking down. "thank you. Mr. Yanto has helped my family so much. We don't know how to repay your service and kindness."

"Oh, don't think about it. We as humans must help each other," said Mr. Yanto while patting Agus' shoulder gently. "I want to go home first. The store I can't stay for long."

After saying goodbye to Agus and Aminah, Pak Yanto went home. Agus gave the envelope to his wife to keep in the room.

Shortly after Pak Yanto's return, two of Agus' co-workers who were originally sitting in the corner of the house, now moved closer to Agus.

"Gus, me and the Imam representing the friends of the shop are mourning." Rudi took out a white envelope from inside his pants pocket. "This is a little bit of condolence from us."

"No need, Rud. You guys just came we're so happy."

"Please accept it, Gus. We are all sincere," said Rudi sincerely.

Agus receives an envelope from Rudi with a taste of haru. His friends in the store also have economic conditions that are not much different from Agus. But it turns out they still had time to set aside some of his income to be given to Agus who was grieving.

"If possible advice, donation money from Mr. Yanto do not use yes, Gus," proposed Rudi.

Agus frowned. "What's the matter, Rud?"

"Maybe Rudi meant that the money should be saved and saved. Aren't you, Rud?" sela Imam while silently pinched Rudi's stomach.

Imam and Rudi looked at each other. They were then busy talking together while whispering, which made Agus even more astonished.

"What's wrong?"

"Oh, no. Anu .. This is the Imam going home. He said he didn't have time to tell the people at his house if he wanted to come here. The priest was afraid that his wife would wait for him to come home" Rudi replied while scratching his head.

"Oh. If you want to go home, it's okay. Thanks for coming. Thanks also to the other friends for their help."

The Imam and Rudi shook hands with Agus and Aminah who were still crying. The two of them immediately came out of Agus' rented house which was still filled with mourners.

"Why do you say that to Agus?" the Imam asked when they were some distance from Agus' house.

"I can't bear to see Agus and his wife, Mam."

"But you also have to think. If our boss finds out, he'll be angry. You want to be made Pak Yanto the next victim?"

"Sir, help Andi."

Agus saw his son Andi was walking on the burning coals. His hands and feet were tied in long chains. Agus also saw that there was a large iron necklace that tied his son's neck.

"Andi don't want to be here, sir. Andi wants to go to school. Stay with Mom and Dad again."

Andi stopped walking on the burning embers and looked at his father in tears. Agus was eager to help the child but somehow his legs could not be moved, as they were fixed on the ground.

"Quick the road."

A large, tall and black creature did not hesitate to whip Andi's body, because the boy stopped walking on a pile of hot coals. The creature looked extremely terrifying with eyes that were as bright red as a small fireball, and a pair of large horns that slightly curved at the end.

"Andi!" call Agus sonorous. He saw the child grimacing in pain with a lash. Her legs and body were even petite to the point of blistering.

"Andi, it's Father, son."

Agus shouted back. He could not bear to see such a small child suffer such a painful torment. But unfortunately, Agus was unable to do anything. Even to move a little he was unable to.

"Andi!"

Agus again tried to reach Andi's body, but only the air he could hold. The man then closed his eyes for a moment due to the extremely hot fire. When those eyes opened again, Agus was astonished to look at his surroundings. He was no longer in a place full of fire. Now he was on the bed, in his simple bedroom.

"Astaghfirullah," said Agus as he rubbed his face. It turned out that the bad thing he had witnessed was just a dream.

"Why, Sir?" asked Aminah who woke up because of Agus's scream. "The father of Andi's dreams, huh?"

Agus just nodded slowly in response.

"We pray tahajud yes, sir. Let me be calm, all of us send prayers to Andi."

Agus and Aminah immediately got out of bed and took ablution. When the prayer has been held, they began to be solemn in performing the prayer. On the long prayer mat, Agus could not help but cry.

A few nights after Andi's death, Mr. Yanto headed to a room inside his house. That room was no ordinary room, because the boss of the five store owner of the building had never let anyone enter there other than him. The mysterious room was also left unkempt and without lighting.

Mr. Yanto took the small key from the pocket of the shirt and opened the padlock hanging on the iron chain. Once the padlock is open, it rolls up the chain that was previously used to tie the doorknob.

When the door was opened began to smell musty, because the room was always left pitch-black, without ventilation and windows.

"I've been your follower for years. There are so many collars I have given you. Why did my wealth only grow so little? I want a lot of treasure." Mr. Yanto started talking alone in that empty, stuffy room.

"A BIG LEAD WILL GIVE GREAT RESULTS AS WELL. You knew that from the beginning, Yanto," replied a voice without form. His voice was so big, thunderous and terrible.

But Mr. Yanto did not hesitate one bit. He had used to hear the voice of invisible beings who had been giving wealth to him.

"Big final," repeated Mr. Yanto while thinking. He began to understand what the words of the subtle-being meant.

"alright. I'll give you a big mash."

Mr. Yanto walked out of the room and locked him back in. Shortly after Mr. Yanto left the dark room, there was a loud shout from the second floor.

"Where are you taking me?" tanya Sari, Pak Yanto's youngest daughter who just sat in the sixth grade of Elementary School. He screamed and thrashed as Mr. Yanto forced him out of the room.

"Have, don't ask too many questions. You as a child should be the same parent. After all this is also for the survival of our family," said Mr. Yanto while still firmly gripping Sari's arm.

"Where are you taking Sari?" asked Dewi, Pak Yanto's wife who confronted them at the end of the stairs.

"Don't interfere" Yanto said, pushing his wife to the floor. Mother Goddess's forehead accidentally hit the end of the table, causing blisters and bruises. There even started to be droplets of fresh blood appearing on his forehead.

"Stop! Let go of Sari, sir!" shouted Bima, the eldest son of Pak Yanto.

Bima who just returned home from college was surprised by the state of her mother who fell on the floor with a bloody forehead. Plus saw Mr. Yanto who could drag his youngest brother.

"Bima know, Papa would like to take Sari to give to the cursed creature, right?" bima said with a fiery tone.

"You're saying accursed creatures?" yanto Pak Bengpak. "That creature gives us riches. Money that our family has enjoyed."

"If you can choose, Bima prefers our old life."

"Which life? The poor? The destitute? Is eating just that hard? Always looked down upon by others and ostracized? Even dream that Papa won't!" firmly Mr. Yanto and again dragged his daughter to be taken to the creepy room.

"If Papa has to sacrifice his own child as a collision, let Bima do it."

"Are you sure?" Mr. Yanto stopped his steps, he turned to stare at Bima.

"Yes, as long as Papa promises never to sacrifice Mama and Bima's sisters."

"Please don't do that, son." Lady Dewi hugged the nineteen-year-old man tightly. The handsome face of his son was wiped away by tears flowing down the river.

It's hot, it's raining, it's hard, and it's nice that they've been through together. Mother Goddess has struggled hard to raise the child, she was not willing to see her son's life ended miserably like this.

"It's okay, Ma. Bima willingly so tumbal as long as Mama and the sisters survived," said Bima while wiping tears on the cheeks of the woman who had given birth to him.

Bima kissed Sari's head and hugged her tightly, like a farewell greeting. "Depit Mama ya, Dek."

"Come, Bima." Mr. Yanto dragged Bima into the cursed room without any guilt.

For the last time Bima looked at Mama and her sister who were crying while hugging each other. Bima doesn't regret doing this if it can protect Mama and her four siblings. Hopefully, the great sacrifice of Bima will not be in vain.

While Mr. Yanto who had dark eyes, pushed Bima into the dark stuffy room. The door was immediately locked from the outside, he was afraid that Bima would change her mind and run away.

Let alone his son Agus, his own son was willing to sacrifice. Pak Yanto's eyes and heart had vanished, covered in a thick fog of worldly treasures. He seemed to forget that the treasure he fought desperately for would not be eternal.

Mr. Yanto clutched the doorknob as he heard Bima's heart-wrenching scream from inside the room. Right now the beast must be tearing apart and eating the body of his son alive. But Mr. Yanto hardened his heart. Soon he will get a replacement in the form of abundant wealth and wealth.

A BIG TUMBAL WILL GIVE GREAT RESULTS AS WELL.
