Teamwork

Arlan laid himself on dry land. His muscles become stiff. Both his hands and feet were dead. However, he was already able to catch his breath this time. Although his head was a bit dizzy, he could still hear the laughter of Nanda and Manda next to him.

Win!

That was all Arlan could deduce after going through a sudden battle in broad daylight. Arlan does not expect that they will win against the creatures without Gina's help.

"It's cool, right?" Nanda clapped boisterously. His clothes were no longer shaped. Arlan was a little envious of Nanda's sexy body.

"I think I should start a proper sport" Manda chimed in, laughing occasionally.

Arlan turned towards Manda. He let his eyes clear for a while by looking at Manda's laughing face. Manda who noticed Arlan's gaze, immediately returned it and smiled. "Thank you." said Manda with a shady face.

"Since when have you had such healing powers?" ask Nanda.

"No idea" Arlan's voice still sounded listless.

"Nan! Check it over here!" one of Nanda's friends called him from a distance. Nanda left without saying goodbye. Arlan feels guilty because he cannot heal Nanda's wounds before Nanda leaves. But, his power was already drained a lot. To deny an ant that bites his hand, Arlan is no longer able to.

"We better wait for Nanda to get home together. I no longer have the energy" said Manda. Arlan agreed. He also wanted to rest even longer even though the sunlight burned his face.

Day starts afternoon. The sky is still bluish, but the sun has begun to lean towards the Western horizon of the world. As long as Nanda's friends return to work, Arlan and Manda spend their time in silence. Arlan can see Manda still watching around.

"Ughhh!" Arlan held his chest as he sat down. Quickly, Manda helped him wake up. "I'm all pegel."

"Tomorrow weekend. Let's go to the masseuse" said Nanda, laughing softly. "If you want to rest or sleep-"

"No. It's not time to sleep" Arlan said. "Did they collect bones?"

"Yes. They have to move fast, before the land comes. Surely those who have this land, now they realize that there are people harassing where they hide the bodies."

"Just keep it clear. Must have this land is my parents."

Manda grabbed Arlan's hand. Although Manda heard Arlan speak in a steady tone of voice, Manda still felt anxious with the emotions of the teenager next to her. "Lo is not alone."

Arlan smiled knot. He liked the way Manda comforted him. "Gue knows," replied Arlan. "Lo can freely say that this is my parents."

"Although so... At least, I hope that this is not because of your parents" whispered Manda.

"It's okay. I'm not pretending to be strong. But, there are lo on my side. That's enough." Arlan rubbed his sore shoulder. "Gue wants to help them. Maybe, I can heal some small wounds."

A pungent stench instantly smelled once Arlan was within three meters. Arlan raised his hand to cover his nose. The smell even made his head hurt.

"Arlan.." Manda's voice trembled. He held Arlan's arm to stop approaching the puddle.

Arlan's eyes widened looking at the stretch of bones before him. Not only that, there were even some decomposing corpses. There was also someone who died a few days ago. Arlan could still see the pretty face of the corpse despite the pale complexion. There was no blood on the body. It's like he's asleep.

Manda fell down. Legs limp. Arlan crouched down next to him. "It makes no sense" heed Arlan, still distrusting the pile of bodies. "How long have they been subverting humans like this?"

"We can't possibly evacuate all these bones and bodies" Manda added.

"Gue is a doubt. Never mind, my enemy is actually my own parents, not Larasati or Grandpa Pareng."

"Strict!" Nanda came to Arlan. "Lo can't stop here. Looking for traces of these people as well, is a decision you take. Let's finish it!"

Arlan nodded in agreement. He chose this path to uphold the truth he believed in. He believed in God, and the perverted jinn must be removed. Arlan also realized, she wanted to make her parents pay for what they had done. Arlan was furious if he remembered the person who slashed his sister's neck was his own father. Then, looking at the expanse of corpses in front of him, Arlan's determination to uncover everything.

"How do we report these bodies?" ask Arlan.

Nanda nodded at the tall tall man nearby. "The lobby will open this portal for as long as possible. Some people will also be standing guard around here. I've called the police. They're on their way. At the very least, the police will investigate who owns this land and the identities of the bodies that can still be identified."

Arlan. He felt small after hearing Nanda's words. "This is my problem" he murmured. "But you're more proficient."

"We were born for this" replied Nanda. He smiled broadly as Arlan raised his head. "Lo doesn't know how I waited for the moment where I could use my strength as I pleased. The ability that I've been hiding, the power of extraordinary inner power, I can finally use!" Nanda clenched his hand which was emitting a red light. Nanda's eyes flashed. He looks excited.

"Well, you heard yourself what Nanda answered," said Manda. "Gue himself also just found out, if I have that much power."

"And you, instead of complaining, shouldn't be grateful?" ask Nanda. "Lo knows that you have special abilities. You can help me and Manda. If you want, we can be a great team!"

"We still need to learn" added Manda. "And if you don't mind..." Manda glanced at it with a slightly flushed face, "we can learn together."

"Lo asked with that kayak face, there's no way Arlan would refuse!" nanda Goda.

Arlan chuckled at the sight of two people who had been strangers, able to make him comfortable in even the worst conditions. She is so grateful that the person she loves is Manda.

From a distance, they could hear the sirens of police cars. Arlan looked at everyone with a relieved face now. The police arrived earlier than the owner of the land. Arlan had already guessed who the landlord was, despite not being told even once.
