"ACH!" Manda stood up suddenly because she felt her hair bristling and her ears ringing, making Arlan who was sleeping on her lap rolled from the school park bench. "Geez!" Manda hurriedly approached Arlan who was lying on the ground and kneeling next to him.
BOOM!!!
Manda held her breath as she and Arlan were suddenly inside the whirlwind of a typhoon. Spontaneously, Manda pulled Arlan's body into his arms. He can't lose Arlan's body in this situation. Manda closed his eyes, hugged Arlan as tightly as possible, and chanted the prayers his mother taught him.
SWUSSHHHH!!!
Just like its sudden appearance, like that is the loss of the storm. Manda opened her eyes slowly. How shocked he was when he saw the fierce battle around him. Manda held Arlan even tighter while looking down, hoping that no attack would be targeted at them.
"Arlan..." Manda whispered in Arlan's ear. "Arlan.." call him again. "Arlan, wakeup!" manda Pinta.
Arlan. His eyes were trying to gather as much light as possible. "Where are we?" arlan asked, once realizing that they were not in the last place they should be.
"Sorry" replied Manda. "Gue doesn't know why he's here either. But, I need the power you make-"
BUMMM!!!!
A huge explosion occurred before Manda was able to finish his sentence. Manda huddled over Arlan, intent on protecting Arlan who had just regained consciousness. However, he did not feel any impact from the explosion. Slowly, Manda opened her eyes. A yellow light shone in the shape of a circle enveloping him. Manda only realized that Arlan's hand was stretched upwards.
"Lo is okay?" ask Arlan.
Manda, who was still holding Arlan, immediately distanced himself from Arlan. His face, which had been only a few inches away from Arlan, made him lose concentration for a few seconds. "No-no. I'm okay."
Arlan tried to sit down, but the protector he made swayed unsteadily. Arlan could see that the surroundings were still not safe.
"Not what," Manda pulled Arlan back into her lap. "Please keep us safe for now. I can't fight anything on the outside."
"Ehem!" Arlan cleared his throat, trying to melt the stiffness between them. Arlan was silent with his hands still in the same position. It was very difficult for him to stay focused, but his heart was racing like an oncoming train. He wanted to prance around because it was good to see Manda's timid face.
"Manda! Erlan!"
The call caught their attention. When he saw the owner of the voice, Arlan immediately got up and his shield disappeared. Nanda who approached them was battered, but his eyes ignited the fighting spirit.
"Why are you here?" ask Nanda.
Arlan again spread out his hands, making a protector for the three of them. "don't know. Suddenly I wake up and I'm here." Arlan must make sure they stay safe during each other's conversation. He could not understand the situation there.
"There's something dragging us here" replied Manda. "Suddenly there's a vortex and we're here."
"Damn! It must be because I unleashed a very large force, you so teleport here," grumbled Nanda. "We're twins. Our power is connected. Remember what happened back in childhood?"
"Yes, God!" Manda patted her forehead. He remembered the incident Nanda had meant. It was a long time ago, but it was the first time they were aware of the supernatural power they possessed. If Nanda is in a state of excitement and requires a lot of energy, Manda will somehow teleport just like that to the place where Nanda is. Since then, Gina always reminded Nanda not to fight for strength, until finally Nanda forgot the reason her mother said it because so often Nanda heard it.
Arlan looked at the two twin brothers in turn. Although not explained in a gamlang manner, Arlan understood that what dragged them into this situation was Nanda. "So how should we?" ask Arlan.
"In short, I found some bones you were looking for. But, this place is guarded by dozens of jinn and I have to win if I want to get what I want. Can you help me be a shield?" Nanda spoke bluntly.
"Gue will keep an eye on the back" Manda added.
"So we move three," continued Nanda.
Arlan's throat was blocked. He couldn't get any answers so nervous. So, only the nods that he managed to do in response agreed. As soon as Nanda got back on his feet, Arlan and Manda also instantly formed a formation behind Nanda. This was their first battle. Arlan himself realized, that the results will not be as perfect as the story in the comics. However, his determination to practice for real, made his mind able to focus easily.
'My job is to protect who can fight, ' Arlan's inner self. His eyes were watchful, not allowing the slightest gap.
Nanda started running towards a tall, black creature that was not even shaped, then swung a fist at him. Arlan could sense how much energy in Nanda's. Every time Nanda made sure he was okay in his position, Arlan immediately checked Manda who was standing not far from him. Arlan was shocked because it turns out that Manda has power that is no less powerful than Nanda.
'Gilak! That's a really cool girl! Jesus, jesus! Focus up! Focus!!!' Arlan bit her lower lip to keep her eye on Nanda as well.
"LAN, LEFT!"
Nanda leaps from behind Arlan, intercepting a lion-headed horse that was about to pounce on Manda. Nanda raised his fist again and again, right at the head of the lion. The roar of the lion sounded clear and deafening. Manda fell down while covering her ears. Arlan's hand bounced off as the creature roared. Arlan scrunched his sprained wrist.
"Here comes the boss" he sighed Nanda from the front. The horses are perfectly mounted. His clothes were torn to shreds, revealing some wounds on his body. Arlan was amazed by the power Nanda had.
"Nan, I have fifty percent left" whispered Manda. For a woman who has never fought muscle with anyone, especially with astral beings, of course this battle feels quite heavy. Arlan had calculated, there were eight jinns that Manda had defeated. Manda instead won without a scratch. Arlan's shield isn't even perfect enough to protect her lover.
"Enough" answered Nanda.
The eyes of the three of them were fixed on the lion-headed creature. His hunting breaths were as tight as their heartbeats. Arlan glanced around. There are about ten men who are fighting with the power of jin-jin that has sprung up. Arlan was not sure if he could withstand the jinn attack in front of him if one of the genies suddenly attacked them.
"FYRRRRRRRR!" the creature growled.
"God! Proud of this one perverse creature," said Nanda.
"Why?" ask Arlan. He did not understand the meaning of the growl.
"He forbade the other genies from approaching. He realized you had pure immunity."
"Gue again!?" arlan did not believe it. Now his life is the target of other supernatural beings. In addition to protecting the two teenagers in front of him, Arlan must also make sure he is not the dessert of his opponent.
"Lo don't let your guard down" Manda warned. "Somebody could sneak in from behind. They're perverted creatures who like to lie."
Arlan nodded, understanding what Manda said. Not just this creature. His own grandfather could have appeared and also attacked him in a careless state. "Let's get this over with quickly!"
Nanda jumped without warning. Directing a kick towards the creature's feet. At the same time, Manda also sped up. Running as fast as lightning to the side. It then leapt to the back of the creature as it let its guard down with Nanda's attack. The creature was able to fend off Nanda, until Nanda was thrown ten meters away. His body was thrown to the ground hard.
MOMMY!!!
Manda hit the back of the head of the lion-headed genie. The genie staggered forward, until his chin hit the earth. However, his legs were still firmly grounded and he got up without requiring much time. Nanda hurriedly jumped back. His fist let out a red circle, long ago turning into a fist of fire. When the creature turned its head, Nanda's fist was already a few inches from his left eye.
DHARR!!!
The ground at Arlan's feet trembled. The fight in front of him was very fast. He realized that he was stunned for a few seconds. Then he looked around. Manda is fine. Nanda also landed perfectly with both feet. Arlan ran over to Manda. She needs her help more than Nanda.
"Same?" ask Arlan when he arrives. He was standing next to Manda who was resting on one knee. Manda's hands clenched, signaling she was ready for the next attack.
"Safe!" Manda answered steadily.
Arlan lowered his head to check on Manda's condition. "Lo-hands!" Arlan gasped at Manda's right hand which turned out to have some torn wounds.
"The lion's skeleton is sharp. Not as it seems" replied Manda. "Gue still has some energy left. We gotta get this one done."
Arlan could not breathe. Disappointment within him. 'Why can't I fight?' his inner. Arlan crouched down next to Manda, touching Manda's hand involuntarily.
NNNGGGGG!
A dazzling white light emerged from Arlan's palm. They both fell silent, shocked by what happened. In just a few seconds, the wounds on Manda's hand disappeared.
"Buseett!" Arlan could not believe his eyes. "What was that!?"
Manda. He stretched his hand forward. "My energy also feels better!" sahut Manda's.
"PEOPLE!"
Nanda's call made Manda aware that they were still in the battle. Arlan, who first saw an approaching attack, immediately formed a shield over Manda's head. "Not anything?" ask Arlan.
"Thank you, Lan!" Manda. He again focused his strength on both of his hands. "It's time to hit that thing!"
