TUMBLED

TUMBLED
Maya World

Agus went to work the next day with a mountain of mind load on his head. Aminah's story of the exact same presence of their son as Agus' dream, slowly begins to make him realize that this is not a coincidence.

Could this be a sign and a warning that Andi deliberately sent to them?

"Hi, Gus. How you look so uninspired today. Are you sick?" greeting Rudi while patting Agus on the back as they met at the shop gate. He showed a friendly attitude while smiling. Although the real purpose is to find out the thoughts of Aminah's husband.

"No, really. I'm just exhausted" replied Agus and tried to be okay.

This time, Agus did choose not to tell about Andi to Rudi, because for him it included household secrets that must be kept tight. Agus understood very well that matters concerning personal affairs of the household, should not be told to others.

"Oh, great. I think you're sick" Rudi said, acting as if he cared.

They immediately headed to the field and joined other colleagues to work directly. There were three sand trucks, two brick trucks and one cement truck waiting to be transported. Enough work for Agus and the other four workers.

And luckily, that much work managed to divert Agus' concerns about Andi for a while. Making himself focus on working for a handful of a living for his wife and their future child.

Until lunch hour. Agus intends to return to meet Junaidi. But today he plans to invite Rudi to come with him.

"Where's Rudi?" Agus dyed looking for Rudi around the shop yard. But the man did not see his nose. Agus even asked the other employees, but they also did not know where Rudi went.

'Yes already. Tomorrow I take him there, Agus' inner.

With quick steps he then walked towards the riverbank to meet his new friend who was friendly. Within ten minutes, Agus had reached the river bank and it was seen Junaidi was sitting on the terrace of his house.

"Baaangg," called Agus from under the guava tree trunk while waving his hand.

"Great, huh? Come on over here, " cried Junaidi as she gestured for the man to come to her house.

Agus complied and walked excitedly closer to Junaidi. I don't know why he feels good to be friends with her even though they just met yesterday afternoon.

In fact, Junaidi's residence is just a simple house made of wood. Door and window support poles have even been seen porous eaten time.

Junaidi seemed to be sitting relaxed in one of the rattan chairs on the terrace, while enjoying the wind that came from the direction of the river. Carefully, Agus climbed four already fragile steps to get to where Junaidi was.

When Agus reached the terrace of the house, Junaidi immediately told Agus to sit beside him.

"How are you, Gus?"

"Good, Bang. Alhamdulillah," replied Agus with a cheerful face.

Hearing Junaidi's insinuation, Agus' smile suddenly disappeared. "Why would you know?" asked Agus with a plain face.

"Because I'm different from you."

Agus snorting. Again he only got the enigmatic answer.

"Bang, be honest. From yesterday I was confused. What does it mean to say that we are different? Please tell me, Bang. I'm really curious."

Junaidi just smiled looking at Agus who was whining like a child. "Are you sure you're ready to hear it?"

Agus nodded steadily. He was ready if Junaidi would say things that might be beyond his reasoning. It was still much better than having to die curious.

Junaidi then sat cross-legged on the floor of his house made of wood, and told Agus also to sit cross-legged in front of him.

"I'm telling you that we're different, it's because I can see and communicate with subtle-creatures."

Agus was amazed. Didn't expect Junaidi to have such a unique skill. "Seriously, Bang? Where can you have an advantage like this? What is talent from birth?"

Junaidi. "I have it for seven years. I can even recognize the nature of a person just by looking at his face. And when we first met, I saw that there was a lot of black aura covering you. Follow wherever you go. That's why when you told me about your friend, I knew right away that he died unnaturally."

As long as Junaidi gave an explanation, Agus could only remain silent. His mouth was wide open, not expecting any evil mystical aura that had been following him all along.

Could that be what causes Agus lately often overwritten by calamity? Is that also the cause of the absurd things that often happen to him and Aminah lately?

Agus looked silently at Junaidi. His admiration grew even more in this kind and friendly man.

"I know, Gus. You may find it hard to believe my words. But that's the real truth. For example, that guava tree you used to sit on, underneath it buried someone's body."
