"Let's go in!" Arlan invites Manda and Nanda to enter his house. This time, Arlan watched closely how Manda's expression came in. The last time Manda entered, he seemed disturbed by the many voices of souls who became the victim of the protective genie of the house.
"Disappeared." chirped Manda as she passed through the living room.
"The voice?" terka Arlan, who was immediately answered with a nod of Manda. "Hopefully the case can also be immediately instigated by the police officer."
"Lo's sure?" ask Nanda. He sat first on the sofa in the middle room. "After all, they are your parents. If they get into trouble, you'll get hit, too." Nanda spread her hand. "It could be that you can't stay in this luxurious house anymore."
"We're here to talk about that voice, Nan," Manda said. "Secure how Arlan will live, we will discuss later. There's something more urgent, right?"
"Yes," answered Nanda. "This voice won't go away anytime soon."
Arlan. He was shocked to feel forgotten by the voice since he thought Manda would come to his house. "Until when?"
"Until your grandfather is tired, or the time of emergence runs out."
Arlan turned his head quickly towards Nanda. "Ka... Grandpa?"
Nanda and Manda nodded at the same time. "The fog on top of that, is your grandfather. Grandpa you're trying to get into this house. He drools look lo" explained Nanda. "Maybe, since you have invulnerability and pure healing, he becomes convinced."
"How fast, by eating me?" ask Arlan.
Nanda nodded again. "For a perverted creature that has been possessed by such passions, waiting for you to give strength for free, is a waste of time. Yes, even if you are not first devoured by other perverted creatures."
"But I can't see them clearly. The tempo of the day, the time of the battle with the jinn, I can see because we got into their world, right?"
"Yes, right," Manda answered. "If you want, I can open your inner eyes. But..." Manda glanced at Nanda. Nanda nodded his head, giving Manda permission to tell Arlan what consequences she would receive. "But your eyes won't have a filter."
"meaning?"
"Lo will see everything. Whether that's what you want to see, or what you don't want to see. Absolutely everything."
"Not everything looks beautiful in this world" Nanda added.
"Is there any other way?" ask Arlan. Suddenly presented such a terrible offer, of course Arlan could not immediately agree. Since childhood, Arlan had not seen anything that could not be seen by others. When he fought with the jinn alone, he tried desperately to hold back his feelings for abnormal figures. In fact, with Larasati always appearing in her dreams, Arlan was still unfamiliar. How could he directly respond to the consequences that Manda said.
"Gue doesn't know in the future what it will be like" said Nanda. "Lo has talent, but all this time hidden. With the talent you have, you become the target of these creatures. Little by little you can hone your skills. Sooner or later, your ability to see such things will appear as well. Manda just speed up the process."
Arlan swallowed with great difficulty. Cold sweat poured from his forehead. The thumping sound above his head was as loud as his current heartbeat. "It's something I have to get through too, right?"
"Yes. I won't laugh if you say you're scared" replied Nanda. "Gue even wet his pants in Junior High because he saw kuntilanak in front of the class."
"Bigglyk!" Manda giggles. Apparently he remembered the embarrassing incident. "That's great, Lan! The whole class is excited because my boyfriend Nanda screams his shoes have to piss Nanda."
Arlan laughed. "Gue was a bit scared. I've only seen ghosts when I watch horror movies."
"Nanda needs to stay here for the first day you see magical things?" tawar Manda's.
Arlan glanced at Nanda who was sitting casually. "Gue still remembers your expression when I first saw my house" Arlan said. "While so, you can stay here?"
"I don't think I'm going to sleep, anyway" replied Nanda.
"Mending is not necessary then" said Arlan.
"A ditch a day will not affect its value" added Manda reassured. "The widow's a watered-down brain. It's so dilute, it can melt through his ear hole."
"Not so either." snorted Nanda. "Gue's doing it, huh? I don't want you to have a heart attack because of the shock."
"OK," finally Arlan agreed. He also did not want to be found as a corpse the next morning due to a heart attack. Moreover, her parents did not come home at what time tonight.
"Now, I'm starting, huh?" Manda stood before Arlan. "Close your eyes" asked Manda. Arlan according to him. Manda rubbed Arlan's eyes quickly. The process was only a few seconds. Instantly, Arlan's eyelids felt cold. "Open your eyes slowly," Manda's next command.
Arlan opened his eyes slowly. "DON'T!" he cried when he saw a woman as high as the roof of his house standing in the corner of the living room.
"I'm guessing" said Nanda. "Lo really needs to be won tonight."
"Temenin' me three days, can't you?" tawar Arlan's. He wasn't sure he could face it all alone after this night had passed. "Buset, bye! What, uh!?" great-granddaughter Arlan when she saw the head hanging using the hair in front of the door of her parents' room. "God! Holy hooch! I'm going to have a real heart attack!" Arlan grabbed the pillow on his back and closed his eyes using it.
"Before the sound of this bang is gone, you want to see the figure of your grandfather?" nanda bargain.
"Here!" Manda extended her hand. "Many things you see. You can join my same hand so as not to be too afraid," proposed Manda. His face was slightly red. He was embarrassed to offer that to Arlan.
"Uhuk! Uhuk!" Nanda teased again.
"If you hold the same hand, you may faint again!" Manda is looking for justification.
"Gue just coughs, really!" bela Nanda, then she stood up. "Come, Lan! We'll prove it's true, Grandpa lo."
Arlan nodded, along with that, he rounded up his resolve to accept whatever he saw later. He must not run away from reality and face all the things that are destined for him, even if his grandfather really wants to eat himself.
They walked out of the house. Every now and then, Arlan clasped Manda's hand too firmly in shock at the new things his eyes could see right now. Manda did not show any reaction of objection. Secretly, Arlan walked closer and closer. She really likes the smell of roses coming out of Manda's black hair. Manda's steady steps in front of him seemed to give him more strength.
"Look over there!" Nanda pointed upwards as they reached the front yard of the house.
Surprised, Arlan fell to the ground. His eyes were wide open even though he wanted to close their eyes. The big creature on the roof of his house is his grandfather. He could see Grandpa Pareng's face, even though his form was already unnatural.
"MY FOOD!!!" grandpa Pareng exclaimed when he saw Arlan in front of his eyes. "LAPAAAR!!! OUT KAAAUU!!!"
"For now, you can still calm down. The protection of this house is still strong" Nanda said.
Arlan looked around. There was a red halo that enveloped his house. His aura makes him claustrophobic. "Why do I suddenly feel bad?" ask Arlan. Before, he was fine in this house.
"Yaaa, because your inner eye has been opened," Nanda answered lightly. "Lo's grandfather, has preyed on some humans to strengthen his strength. Soon, he will be able to break through the protection of this house. By then, we should be ready to face it."
"In addition to Larasati, I also have to fight my own grandfather," Arlan spoke to himself. Obviously, he doesn't believe this. He had not even studied invulnerability for long. Healing knowledge that suddenly appeared, not even necessarily he could use at the right time later. "Gue's not ready yet."
"Must be ready!" exclaim Manda. His resolute voice made Arlan turn away from Grandpa Pareng's figure. "Lan, we're here for you! You have to be ready!"
"True Manda," Nanda agreed. "Aren't you going on a date with my sister?"
"Double! Seriously, dong!" protest Manda with a reddened face.
