TUMBLED

TUMBLED
Talent to Be Harvested

Manda fell to the floor after the sound of an explosion was heard. Pareng's hand, clutching his arm, was still there. Pareng's sharp nails scratched Manda's skin until injured. When Manda looked back, her arms and arms separated. Black blood dripped from Pareng's severed hand.

"LANGUAGEAAAAAAARRGRGHHH!!!" the moans echoed very loudly. Heartbreaking groans that can make anyone who hears cry.

Nanda, who had fallen down from the sound of the explosion, peeked out of his arm to see what was happening. How shocked Nanda when he saw the body of Pareng that is not intact anymore. Part of his left arm was broken. Stomach perforated. Black blood spurted from his arms and stomach. If Pareng was an ordinary human, he would have collapsed and died. Unfortunately, Pareng was not an easy opponent to defeat. After a long groan, he went back to looking for prey in the surroundings. Some ghosts had already disappeared due to the terrifying black aura emanating from Pareng's body.

"Shut up!" furious Arlan. His eyes turned dark black. The glint from those eyes made Nanda shudder in horror. Nanda knew something was wrong with Arlan. With a flickering step, Nanda quickly approached Manda.

"Arlan is in danger" Manda said as soon as Nanda arrived before him.

"Gue also sensed a strange aura from Arlan," replied Nanda. "We have to stop it."

"STOP!!!"

Arlan's call makes Nanda and Manda embrace each other to protect each other. Arlan's voice turned into a sinister growl. Manda closed her eyes tightly, afraid of what she would see. But Nanda tried to dare to watch what happened.

Arlan walked quickly towards Pareng who was devouring a ghost figure in the kitchen. Ghosts with thin bodies that had only been silent there, even the ghost did not bother Arlan with creepy sightings.

Quickly, Arlan's hand reached to Pareng's calf. Pareng who realized there was a strong grip on his feet, looked down at Arlan for a few seconds. Feeling that Arlan was a threat, Pareng tried to shake his leg. But his feet did not wiggle. Arlan grasped it with all his might.

CRUST!

Nanda closes his eyes when Arlan breaks Pareng's leg. Although Pareng was a monster they had to defeat, seeing his legs folded like dry laundry made Nanda nauseous.

"YARGHHH!!!" pareng shouted sounding bitter.

"It turns out you can still feel pain?" ask Arlan. His hand was still in his position, ready to fold Pareng's legs once again.

"Arlan! Enough's enough!" manda from far away.

CRUST!

"GRAAAAAAGGHHH!!!"

It can be ascertained that Preng's legs have been destroyed. Despite eating a few more ghosts, it is impossible that Preng can return to his original form in a short time.

"Alan!" exclaim Nanda. However, Arlan does not indicate that he heard Nanda's call.

"Is it the same with Arlan?" ask Manda. He turned his head towards Pareng and shrieked softly when he saw Pareng's condition.

"There is something wrong with Arlan" replied Nanda. "Where now? We should what?"

The manda did not answer. He also did not know what to do when things were like this. This is his first time dealing with this.

"YAH!" Pareng threw a blow blindly towards Arlan. Just a second before Pareng's attack hit Arlan, a golden-yellow shield enveloped Arlan. Unlike the seemingly thin ones, it turned out that the protector was strong enough to withstand Pareng's attack. "YYYOHAGGHHH!!!" Pareng did not give up. He kept on punching.

"Nanda, stop Arlan! He's weird! The aura's changed!" manda Pinta.

Without thinking, Nanda got up and ran towards Arlan. "Arlan! Stop that!" he shouted, while trying to grab Arlan's hand.

PHANGGG!!!

Nanda bounced three meters away with a loud thump. Manda ran over to Nanda with a panicked face. "Double! Nanda!" Manda pulled the silent Nanda into her arms. "Nan! Wake up!"

"HHHHAAAARRRGHH!!!"

Manda looked up, seeing Pareng's hand separated from his shoulder. Arlan chuckled, as if enjoying what he was doing. The fur of Manda's head immediately stood up to see the state of Arlan at that time.

"No... It's wrong.." muttered Manda. Tears began to pour down her cheeks. He no longer felt the pain in his back that was starting to numb. Manda was just hoping that something could stop Arlan now.

A gentle touch landed on Manda's trembling shoulders. Manda can feel the flow of comfort from the hand, the hand that has always helped him in all difficult conditions.

"Mother!"

Gina smiled, trying to calm her son down. "Mom will finish this," she replied.

Manda could not answer. His voice was swallowed by sobs. Gratitude and relief were mixed within his chest. Manda becomes able to protect the unconscious Nanda, while Gina makes Arlan regain consciousness.

Gina approached Arlan with an almost inaudible move. His face was flat, scrutinizing Arlan's every move. The screams of pain from Pareng, did not make Arlan stop. Arlan ripped Pareng's body apart bit by bit. Pareng who tried to fight, lost to Arlan's invulnerability.

Gina took a deep breath, then flicked her hands together with a single prayer. Pareng crashed, away from Arlan. Then Gina recited another prayer, making a golden rope shackle Pareng's body. For a while, he won't be able to escape.

Arlan who saw his opponent being snatched, turned his head quickly towards Gina. His black eyes were glaring, annoyed. Gina knew that it was not the Arlan she knew. Arlan ran over to Gina. As if already knew the move that Arlan was going to take, Gina had already moved, right behind Arlan. In the next instant, Gina rubbed her hand on Arlan's eyes.

Arlan lost consciousness. He collapsed to the ground. The atmosphere of the house that was destroyed due to the fight became silent. There was the sound of Manda's sobs from a distance.

Gina looked around. He couldn't lie that he didn't panic. His two children, who asked him for permission to stop by Arlan's house after school a few hours ago, were suddenly in this situation. Moreover, Gina knew that her two children were not experienced in this matter. If only Gina had not had the initiative to stop by Arlan's house to check the situation, surely Arlan was no longer able to save.

"Mom... A-Arlan is okay?" manda asked as Gina approached him.

Gina did not immediately reply, but knelt next to her unconscious son. He rubbed Nanda's face full of affection. A sense of pride was reflected from the knotty smile on his face. "Everything is okay now" replied Gina. "Sorry, I'm late."

Manda quickly shook his head. "We also didn't know that this house's guard would be destroyed so soon."

"Uwughhh!" Nanda who was in Manda's lap suddenly just groaned in a slow voice. He opened his eyes slowly, then remembered what had happened to him. "Buck!!!" he shouted and immediately got up. "Mother!?" Nanda was shocked to see Gina's presence in the middle of this situation.

"Sleeps soundly?" ask Gina.
