TUMBLED

TUMBLED
Entrance Door

Arlan's eyes widened. The man on the porch of the house was Dimas. The glowing glow of the shield Arlan made was not enough to clarify what he was seeing, but it was enough to make him believe that the Dimas in front of him was not the best friend he had known.

"He's not Dimas" whispered Nanda from next to Arlan. "He just looked like Dimas. Don't be fooled!"

Arlan gulped. He was also aware that the person in front of him was not Dimas. "Gue can't possibly hurt Dimas" I'm Arlan.

Nanda looked at it. Honestly, he was shocked to hear Arlan's words. However, the fact that Dimas was Arlan's best friend since they were children made Nanda aware. "Lo can't. But, he has dared to kidnap my sister, which means he is ready to lay his life in my hands" Nanda replied.

Arlan did not answer. It was indeed a consequence that Dimas had to accept from an angry older brother. But, however, he could not attack Dimas. Arlan was actually quite angry at what Manda had to experience because of him. If Arlan had lost his temper and fought, Arlan would have hurt others again.

"Gue forward, you watch behind me!" Nanda patted Arlan on the shoulder, then walked past the protector.

Arlan followed while giving some distance. He made sure he could protect Arlan and also not interfere in the physical fight. A few people behind Arlan suddenly got ready. That's when Arlan realized that there were some people who also came from all directions.

"It turns out we were very welcome" Gina said. "Protect your friends' backs. We're going to have a long night!" Gina clapped her hands three times, then a gust of wind blew quickly from her feet for up to three kilometers. "Fight in this expanse of portals! Don't be interested in baiting the enemy to exit the portal!"

"From the first look, I didn't like you, you know" Dimas growled.

Nanda clenched her hands. "Good! I don't like it the same!"

"HHHHHH!!!!" Dimas ran towards Nanda. Arlan was shocked that Dimas was running so fast. But Nanda seemed to be ready and fended off Dimas' first punch. Then he lowered his head to avoid the second blow. Nanda looked completely relaxed yet full of energy.

Arlan glanced back. The battle is inevitable. One by one the monsters sprang up. They looked like corpses rising from the grave. They rot, as well as the skin of their hands. The smell of carcasses blends with the night air.

"Is there a cemetery near here?" suddenly Gina asked.

Arlan throws a shield when Dimas wants to land a blow on Nanda. "There!" answer Arlan how it is. He turned his head, throwing another shield at Nanda's friend who was about to be hit by a monster. His divided attention made Arlan have to concentrate more, so that he could not explain more about the grave that Gina meant.

Gina gave a glance. He watched one after another his allies. Feeling that the fight was going in a draw, Gina ran past her friend and opponent. He tries to avoid as much as possible. Gina was aware that the monsters they were fighting were not that powerful, but over time, they would feel exhausted by endless opponents. From the smell and aura that Gina felt, she realized that all the monsters were from the ground. Larasati searches for the grave which is most likely the origin of the black world creature.

Gina jumped up and landed on a five-centimeter-wide concrete fence to look across. "Meet!" Gina smiled with satisfaction. He also saw the ground open, something pushed him from the inside, making the grave into pieces. One by one, monsters appeared. Their rotten bodies did not stop their steps from entering the house of Dimas. Gina walked down the line of undead that entered through the back door. Apparently, the team that entered through the back door was already surrounded due to the large number of undead entering. "God... He resurrected the buried corpse from fifty years ago, huh? That's plenty!"

DHUARR!!!!

A huge explosion made Gina look back. His son manages to knock Dimas down until Dimas doesn't move anymore. Now, the problem is just the undead. They should not waste energy, while the main character tonight is still hiding inside the house.

Gina jumped up and entered the two-acre graveyard complex. "What a cemetery is this vast" murmured Gina. "Old granny is very smart to look for a house. It was certain that he prepared this just in case someone invaded his house." Gina threw out her hand, making most of the undead burn and turn to ashes in a matter of seconds. Gina did the same in every step she took, wiping out some of the undead that rose from their graves.

After making sure the surroundings were safe enough, Gina chanted a prayer, then made a circle that stretched as far as the eye could see, enveloping the surrounding burial ground. The lands that were originally poking and being uncovered, were now quiet. The atmosphere of the night in the burial ground, again calm followed by the sound of night animals.

Gina turned around, about to return with her allies. However, something blocked his steps. There was one figure standing under the nearly full moonlight. An old woman with a crouching back. His facial expression indicated that he was unhappy.

"You... The bully." The hoarse voice that came out from the grandmother's mouth, gave Gina goosebumps. "Would you like to come here?"

Gina's eyes widened. "Serious grandmother asked that? Grandma's son Dimas kidnapped my son. I might just shut up!"

"The girl with the good smell that Dimas brought?" The grandmother grinned.

The smile on Grandma's face instantly vanished. Gina knows that the bait is successful and she deduces that the creature in front of her is Larasati - the one who has been eyeing Arlan all along. "You lied!" let's get that grandma.

"I can do anything if my son loses his life" Gina said. "Let's fight with me here!"

"My goal is not you!" Larasati growled, then her figure faded.

"Wait on! WAIT!!!" Gina lunged towards Larasati, but the creature in front of her had already disappeared. "Damn! It's too strong for Manda or Nanda" he murmured. Gina rushed back into the courtyard of the house. He checked every member he passed.

"Mother!" Nanda ran towards Gina. "We tried to get in. But all the driveways couldn't open and it was as hard as a wall. In fact, nothing was destroyed however we tried to destroy it."

Gina turned to Dimas who was already tied by the rope they used to use when capturing half-human and half-demon creatures. For a while, before it was purified, Dimas would remain that way. "Our opponent is stronger than we imagined," Gina replied in a soft voice.

"Then what, Mom? Is there a way for us to get in?" nanda Urge.

Gina looked at Nanda's face, then turned to Arlan. Tears began to pool in her eyes.

"MOTHER!" nanda was impatient.

Arlan felt an excruciatingly painful pain within his chest. Gina did not say anything, but Arlan felt a sense of despair. While Gina was still thinking of a way to enter, Arlan walked quickly to the door of Dimas' house. Nanda only turned his head as Arlan approached the door, as he was sure that it would not open. Arlan grabbed the doorknob. He turned the door knob slowly.

WHUUUUSSSSHHHH!!!

A strong gust of wind blew when the door opened. Just for a second the door opened, then sucked Arlan into the house.

BRAK!!!

The door closed again. Leaving Arlan glued inside the living room of Dimas' house. "Gue... Incoming?"

"ARLAND! ARLAAAN!!!"

Arlan turned to face the door. Nanda's voice was clearly heard from behind the door in front of him. "Double! I'm okay!" answer Arlan.

"HOW CAN YOU GET IN ALONE!? GET OUT!!!"

Arlan tried to open the door, but failed. He walked towards the window, then tried to break the glass. That effort is useless, too. "Gue's gonna find Manda!" arlan in the end.

"Can't be alone!" Nanda was banging on the window. They were only separated by a glass three centimeters thick, yet no one could break that glass. "Lo knows, right, if you lose control, you can lose yourself!"

Arlan nodded. "Gue knows!" the answer. "But I'm the only one who can get in! We can't waste time!" Arlan glanced at Gina. Gina stood behind Nanda. Gina's face was no less pale than Nanda's. Surprisingly, the worry that Arlan received from them, even made Arlan happy. He had never felt so loved before.

"Son..." Gina advanced. His hand was stretched out to touch the window. "Quick back! We're waiting here!"

"Yes, Mom!"
