You're My Antidote

You're My Antidote
Good Girl

The office was still crowded when Raja and Rani came out of the elevator that brought them down from the 44th floor where the King's office was located.

Shan Tower consists of 45 floors. With the top floor as the highest leadership office and its staff. A special meeting room is also upstairs. Especially for board meetings and other important meetings.

Three Shan group television stations are also based there. Both office and studio.

So no wonder, even though the King came home late and Shan tower still looks crowded. Especially in the broadcast and news section that is chasing a deadline for tomorrow morning.

Rani's steps came to a halt when the phone in her bag rang. Making the King to stop the steps and turn the body to see Rani who walked behind him.

"Sorry sir, I have permission to pick up the phone. You can get to the car first."

The king looked at Rani with his eyebrows raised. She was not happy when the girl told her to.

After a while the King just kept silent not obeying the orders of his secretary, he saw Rani sigh. Probably know if his orders won't pay off.

"That's a hell of a bummer, sis!" the girl grumbled and rolled her eyes at him before raising a call that was out of nowhere, the King had no idea.

If it's outside office hours, Rani will indeed call him sister like when they first met. Outside the office hours, Rani's attitude to him will be very annoying and disobedient.

"Yes Kal?" from the name that Rani mentioned, it seems like the King knows who contacted Rani on nights like this.

Haikal Putra's. One of the children of the same age as him.

Haikal was adopted by the owner of a showroom. But even though he did not live in a home, Haikal always routinely met Rani every weekend. They have made the two friendly until now.

Don't ask me where the king knows. Of course Rani will always tell you what the girl went through every day without her asking. Telling at will as if he was pouring his feelings on diary books.

"I just got out of the office. But maybe I'll be home late. Mama Lintang asked me to stop by. So you better just go home."

Apparently Haikal was in the orphanage. Tumben once, considering tomorrow is not a holiday.

"Yes, I went there with the King." Rani glanced at him again. This time it wasn't as sharp as before. "Just calm.. He's tame as me."

The king snorted and turned to head for his parked car. Grumbling in the heart. It was a cuneiform, until Rani said it was tame.

The king could hear the annoying ruckus even though his steps were already far away.

Rani and Haikal are indeed the right combination to ruin his life. Back when he was in the middle of war in the upper middle class, Rani who was still wearing a blue white uniform ran and shouted her name.

"SISTER KING!"

Of course almost all who joined the laughter turned to the source of the voice. Including the leader of his enemy. Make him swear Haikal's absorbency which takes Rani and just leaves the girl in danger.

"SISTER KING IS LOOKING FOR MOTHER! MOM CALLED ME!"

The king growled furiously and ran towards the noisy girl. He also wondered why my mother always looked for Rani every time she came home late.

Do you think he was dating that snot boy until every time he went home from school to see him?

Unfortunately, Rani always knew of her existence. Although the place he made the brawl field always moved right.

Who else would have told her position if it wasn't Haikal. Because the man also went to school in the same place as himself. Since then, he has always disliked Haikal.

Geck.. Geck..

The sound of glass beside him made the King return from past memories.

Finding Rani standing there and knocking, the King lowered his window.

"Who would take you home?"

Rani chuckles in annoyance. "That's why I brought a motorbike."

"It's night! I'll blame you if something happens to you." The king answered by putting on a seat belt and ready to start the car engine.

"How will I go home? tomorrow also I must be difficult to go to work if the motorbike is left here. Is my brother going to pick me up?"

"I'm not a driver."

"Then from that. I'll just bring a motorbike. Promise not to lose fast to get to Mom's house."

"You sure?" The king raised his eyebrows. The look of disdain he gave to the girl who was now whining and scratching the nape that King was sure did not itch at all.

"E-engak. King's brother, if you bring a car always mention."

"Come in! or I'm staying."

Rani looks worried to decide. Makes him breathe. "You're afraid of one car with me?"

The girl shook her head and shook her hands. "I'm just confused how I'm going to leave tomorrow."

"See you big Rani. Enough for you to book an ojek or taxi online."

The sneer in the girl's lips made the King furious. Because a lot of it is wasted in the parking lot. The time he should be able to use to drive the car to quickly get home and rest.

"This month there are many birthdays.. So I had to save money." the girl grumbled and walked around her car to get to the passenger seat and sat there. Next to her with a wry bent face.

Not knowing what the girl was knocking, the King began to drive his vehicle to join the traffic jam that night was still happening not far from his office center.

Rani is a good girl. Always attach more importance to the children of the home than to himself.

How many years Rani has been his secretary. But the girl's vehicle was still even a motor metic gift from mama when the girl was seventeen years old.

It was as if the double-digit salary that every month went into the account of the girl was not left to herself.

Rani became one of the hardworking women she knew. Work tirelessly even though not enjoying the results of his own jeripayah.

Rani is also not a girl who likes to take advantage of people's kindness. Especially if you are pitied.

Even Rani refused the money that mama gave for the cost of everyday life. Rani prefers to work part-time to meet those needs.

The cost that his parents spent on Rani's education costs was met with a proud achievement.

Rani wants to receive a scholarship with a merit scholarship record. Not a scholarship because people pity because Rani lives in an orphanage.

In that small, fragile-looking body, the King could see a tremendous kink. A power that he might not even be able to match.

But despite the many things he secretly admired from the girl, the King still could not put his feelings there. What else to marry Rani as both her parents want.
