After Two Decades

After Two Decades
Infiltrating Action

"Your father?" Jan stopped from his steps with a gawking face.

"Oh, sorry, Jan. I haven't been able to tell you. Just a few days ago I found out that my father didn't die from a car accident as we knew it before."

"Huh?" Jan frowned. Surprised and astonished.

"My father .. apparently died of murder. He was shot while driving. Unfortunately, the perpetrator of the murder is still unknown until now!" my clear.

"I'm sorry, Ren, hope you're strong!" entertain Jan. He grabbed my shoulder and patted my back. "But to be honest I was surprised too, I just found out that too!"

I smiled blandly. He said, "That's the truth, buddy. However, it's okay, I'm fine, I've spent a few days shutting myself up to mourn everything, so now I'm up. I have to accept all this."

Jan looked at me with a caring and concerned face. His enthusiastic face suddenly changed drastically. Maybe he felt bad for me.

"Just relax, Ren, I promise I'll help you as much as possible to find out about the perpetrator!" said later. This time he smiled too.

"Thank you very much, Jan!" my answer. "That's exactly why I wanted to save Prof so much. Ram, for the time machine to be completed. So, with the time machine, I'm going to go back in time to find out who the killer was!"

I hardened my fist. My voice shakes with deep emotion. Sadness mixed with enthusiasm. Jan himself seemed concerned to hear that.

"Right, you're smart, buddy!" said Jan. His face slowly turned enthusiastic again. Like getting enlightenment again.

"Then" he continued later. "Let's hurry, I promise I'll give you whatever help you need. Trust me, that time machine will definitely be completed, for you. I'll do everything I can to help bring back Prof. Ram is safe. If necessary, we'll collapse whoever's responsible for all this!"

I smiled with pride. I never mistakenly relied on him. I patted her shoulder back, and said, "You're really my friend, Jan! Thank you!"

"Come on!"

So after convincing each other, we continued the steps that had stopped. Get in the elevator. Slide down from the always quiet building. Ever since we came while leaving again, it still remained shrouded in silence. As if giving a grim impression and sadness. But getting out of there brings a sense of passion and ambition.

"How are you planning?" I asked as soon as we were in the parking lot. There's really only my motorcycle and Jan's car. There are no other vehicles.

"The plan is like this" Jan explained. "You just come there as a casino visitor, try not to recognize you!"

"While I'm going in through the back door, I'm going to knock out their guards. We meet inside, then you follow my directions later!"

I nodded again. After that Jan got into his expensive car, I got on my ride. Jan was looking for something in the back seat, so he could throw the object he took it through the car window. I greeted him alacriously, it turns out an S&W type revolver complete with a silencer.

"Use it just in case!"

"All right, thank you!" my spoken. I put the revolver in my pocket and turned on the motorcycle engine. Not to be outdone, Jan started the car. For a few seconds, he pressed the gas deeply to cause the roar of the machine like a room of wild animals. Then we immediately rolled.

We drove tens of meters. Passing through intersections and road bends. Until we finally entered the north coastal road, approaching the Green Floor Building area.

I stepped on the brake pedal, the motorcycle stopped right in front of the building's turnstile. While Jan's car roared past me. It disappeared from view so quickly. I continued to enter the parking area, merging myself with the row of motorcycles in that place. Real crowded. Still in the parking lot, the crowd inside the building had already sounded. I reached into the bag. He pulled out a two-way communications radio, in the form of a small device that I wore to my ear. With an automatic system, the communication device itself turns on. I just need to connect to Jan's radio frequency communication, which she always uses. I'm watching the surroundings. Be ready. Convince yourself, and get into action.

I walked back, through the entrance of the building. Trying to style like a young man who is looking for entertainment. Calmly, I acted like a regular casino visitor. As soon as I got in there, it looked like it was full of green from the floor to the ceiling. Many are by men in neat suits or plain clothes; young men with headscarves who play gambling, or middle-aged men who are surrounded by sexy women; and; or also the sad men who sit in the drink, blushing eyes unconscious; drunk. I went around that big room. Stylish ass approaching the betting tables. Follow along laughing, laughing at people who have just lost a gamble and a big loss. I don't know who. I kept going and looking at the area. While maintaining my pretence style and attitude. A little wiggle the body following the electronic music played by the DJ in the corner of the room. Step by step, I headed for the stairs at the end of the room. I continued to pay attention around, researching one by one the visitors or servants there. Examine sharply about who they are. After feeling safe, I walked down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, I stopped for a moment.

"Jan, do you hear me?" I speak as slowly as possible.

"Okay, I've started to get in the back room! You used to go upstairs, I followed the other way!" answer Jan.

I immediately took the road to the left. A short corridor at the end of which was another staircase. I climbed up carefully. Be alert and alert. Up above, I arrived at a room similar to the one below. Many gambling tables and various games of luck, drunken places, or sofas where to relax. It's just not as crowded here below. The level of facilities is higher, the people here are people with high living standards. It is not impossible that they come from the business world, so here I am more threatened to be recognized.

I walk through the walls with as much as possible to hide my face. The steps covered with anxious hope ended at the base of the stairs. Without a second thought, I stepped up the stairs for the sake of the stairs. But before I got to the end of the road, I stopped. My eyes caught the movement of the door on the right side of the room. Far enough from my position. I stared and locked my eyes towards the door. The door opened, and I saw Jan coming from there. Standing in front of the door facing me. He hides his right hand with alertness. I know that he's hiding a gun.

Jan signaled with his hands, telling me to go upstairs. I immediately followed without much movement. Sliding the stairs and walking in the upper corridor which was on his left side was only a low fence, where I could still see the atmosphere of the room below me. I saw Jan take a cautious step across the room. Heading to another door. I continued walking when I saw Jan missing behind the door.

I entered a closed corridor that was not too long. Tracing meter by meter carefully. It's quiet there. Until I saw a door by his side. I heard a loud noise from behind the door. I ventured to push the door a little, peeking at what was there. It turned out to be a similar room as well as the one I had met earlier, but it was even more luxurious. I shut that door tight. Choose forward to the end of the corridor, where the corridor turns left.

Full of alert, I attached the body to the side of the wall which was the corner of the corridor crossing. Trying to peek, there might be people coming from that direction. Sure enough, there was a big man who stepped in a hurry. Seen to keep getting closer to where I crouch.

After quick thinking, I felt the bag. Be ready. So in those crucial seconds, I jumped out of hiding with the revolver already outstretched. The person was surprised not to play, but he did not have time to do anything. He knew his head had spurted blood, and his body was pounding to the floor.

What the hell's going on? I pulled the trigger full of calm. With the S&W-type revolver equipped with the mutakir damper, I have fired a silent shot. The silencer no longer held back the sound of the explosion, but rather negated it altogether. There's no sound whatsoever. The bullet just blew away. Not even a little whisper. Truly the perfect weapon for secret missions.

I continued walking with a sag. Revolver I lowered, I increased my alertness. Meter by meter I hit while several times turning to look back. Ensure the situation remains safe. I passed through the body of the man lying lifeless. Looked flat. I don't know if this is legal or not, but my ambition has made me lose my rationalism. After all their attack on the laboratory was also a crime, there was no harm in me avenging them. Besides, besides, I came here with the most trusted police intel, where maybe the police will arrest me on murder charges. Even if I'm a criminal now, I don't care. As Hadni once told me, I have a good reason to be like this and do all this. That's why next, I don't hesitate and don't waver to do anything. To take a life for the sake of life again. I don't give a shit. My father's life has been taken and it is impossible to return. So, I'll do anything to make the remnants of the things I can do for dad. One of them is looking for who the killer is. With that ambition I'm in action tonight. Because ever since the beginning of the attack, I've been bloodied and upset amazingly. So no wonder, for the purpose of improving the atmosphere and continuing the project time machine. I don't hesitate to kill people. And it's actually not the first time. I've killed people before, in my travels and adventures in this career. There have been many dangerous battles and fights that really boost adrenaline. I am no longer surprised or feeling different. That's also the reason why I say my job is a dangerous job that risks life and death. Just like Jan, my best friend. However, even so, we love our work. It has been an aspiration since childhood. And tonight, I feel very proud and honored to be able to carry out an intrusion and attack mission from within against a semi-criminal organization, with my best friend. We've dreamed of this, even though we used to think we were both elite cops. And in fact now we are different positions, but still the dream was realized.
