In the middle of the eternal, we could not directly break into the baby's room. We can't get through a closed door. However, we didn't have to wait for long, as the atmosphere grew increasingly heated some people ended up running around breaking down the door and storming in. Parents, doctors, and others. And so we also published the entry through the bodies of those people. Jan and I were running around as if we were feeling the heat of the blazing atmosphere. This baby room was among the worst hit by the fire. The red whiz bows from the ceiling, radiating to the curtains and the crib. The fire spread so fast and waged this place in a few jolts. Some babies cannot be saved, fire brings them into his destiny. In addition to babies, some adults also have tragic fates. They stormed in with the intention of saving these babies ended heartbreakingly. Someone managed to save the baby, but his body was eaten by fire. There was even a burning with the baby in his arms.
I don't know where this fire came from. I don't know what caused this fire. For sure the blaze is getting worse, especially in this room. The room full of babies is full of fire. Only people with a strong mentality can afford to witness such a tragic and terrible event. More than that, Jan himself looked at all of this by realizing that he belonged to babies who were besieged by the fierce fire.
I'm pecking on the spot. I don't know which one is baby Jan. I can't recognize him. I can only read the name under the baby place that lists the names of his parents. It was also something that has been consumed by fire until it is no longer legible. Jan himself was busy noticing one by one the babies who were still in the threat. Seeking which one is himself. This room is now in chaos, all the screams are coming together. The fire is becoming more and more. Almost everything he encountered, flammable to the uninterrupted sweet-cropping.
"Ren, stop the time!"
Tics. I'm sprightly once. Time stopped exactly the second Jan ordered it. Suddenly the room was quiet. All sorts of commotion vanished unceasingly. Each person, baby, and whatever is moving, is now sculpting in their respective positions. The fire froze in the air. Time stops. For a moment in silence, I could see how terrible the condition of this room was.
"That's ...." Jan rushed over to a man staring at the door. The man was holding a baby and protecting it from the flames around. That man is a doctor. Seen from the uniform he was wearing, although the uniform was seen beginning to be eaten by fire anyway.
"Here, my foster father," Jan explained. "The baby in her arms is me."
"Yes," I added. "How now?"
"Turn the clock back" replied Jan. "Restore time until before the fire. Let's see where I'm put. Back off again, let's see which sister brought me here came from which room. Then we'll get to the room where my mother gave birth to me."
"All right." I don't ask much. What I think is exactly like that.
One button I press, time moves backwards. People are moving backwards. The sound of screaming sounded strange. The doctor we were observing stepped back. Until he is seen putting baby Jan in one of the cots there. The time-slowing is getting louder. People were running backwards out of the room. The thing that was devoured by fire returned. The tongue of the fire that had spread down, now retreated, rose, and gradually shrank and disappeared. Of course it was all the effect of our scenery on time moving backwards.
Tics. Time stops. The room returned to normal without any damage. No fire or panic. This room is still peaceful and peaceful. So we could freely see the baby Jan on the special bed where he was laid. It says, "Baby Winia." Winia's? Is that Jan's mother's name? I was a little surprised to see that name. That name is no stranger to me. I started thinking about a lot of possibilities. However, it ends at the conclusion that this is just a coincidence.
"Retreat again, buddy!" jan Pinta. "We're going down the nurse who brought me here.
Tics. I don't talk much. Press it as usual. Time moves back to the back.
We waited patiently. Until a nurse came into the room. Alternately. Some bring in babies, some bring out, some just check the condition of other babies. Until the nurse we were waiting for finally arrived. Because this nurse came over to baby Jan, carried her and took her out. What happened was that Jan had to be taken from the outside and put in this bed. However, because I rewind time then that looks the opposite. The nurse took Jan out of the room—with a step back.
My best friend and I soon followed. Followed every step of the sister wherever she went carrying baby Jan. We went out and left the NICU room, down the long corridor of the hospital. Passing through the doors of the patient rooms. Passing by people who were standing anxiously waiting for news from the doctor.
The search ended in one room. The maternity room. This is where Jan was born. It is also where Jan's mother is. Then we don't have to rewind time anymore. We have arrived at the place we were looking for.
Tics. Time stops. Tics. Time continues. Continue normally and move straight ahead. So the sister who had walked backwards, now walked forward correctly again. Stepping away took baby Jan away from us. Of course, back in the NICU to put baby Jan there.
While Jan is grown up and I'm here, standing at the door of the delivery room. The room is closed. And we can't go in that condition. We had to wait a while, waiting for someone inside and outside to open the door for us to enter.
Fortunately, it did not last long. Because a doctor finally came from behind us and opened the door. Along with the doctor, we entered the room.
Inside, the atmosphere was so peaceful and quiet. A woman was still lying limp on the bed. It must be Jan's birth mother. While at his side, sat a young man in a bun. Sitting with his face to welcome the birth of his son. This man must be Jan's father. Jan's biological parents that I never knew about. I can guess how badly Jan feels right now. For the first time staring at the two biological parents he had never seen. Just like I saw my mother.
"Eh?" Me and Jan were compactly glued in place. Instead of being stunned, we were surprised.
Who would have thought, as soon as Jan and I met again the man who was sitting and the woman who was lying down, we were compact wide. Surprised not to mess around. Frown wrinkled. Wiped our eyes many times, but still could not believe what we saw.
"Did we not look wrong?"
"I swear, this ... I never expected this one bit!" Jan bobbing heads.
"Crazy. Why is it like this? Mr ... Mr ... Roy?" I stammered with disbelief.
We can't possibly see it wrong. The face looks very young, but we know him well. Especially me, I know him more than anyone. The man who is the father of Jan, apparently is Mr. Roy. Yes, Mr. Roy my foster father. Director Korp. Masadepan is now in prison for the murder of my biological father. That's why Jan and I have been wondering and repeatedly thinking if this is true. Another surprise on our way of life. Reality that overturns expectations for umpteenth time.
"Ja–Jadi ...."
"My adoptive mother is your biological mother" I cut into Jan's words.
"And Mr. Roy .. is the father?" said Jan pula. "I can hardly believe this, but it can't be wrong."
"Well, I did too."
We stayed there a long time. Standing confused, gawking, and inexhaustible thought of the new reality we got. It's not that we don't accept it, but we're just really shocked and don't expect any of this. What a surprise no one ever expected.
Until finally Jan opened his voice again.
"Well, Ren" he said. "Life is full of mystery and surprise. The only thing we have to do, is to accept with grace. At least I can take the positives, that this means my dad's alive."
"That's true, but ...."
"Yes, I know Mr. Roy, or now I call you father, is serving time in custody. I accept this, it means that my father is the one responsible for his actions. We know, everybody's got mistakes in the past."
"All right."
"On behalf of my father, I'm sorry, Ren!" said Jan.
"No need to apologize, Jan," I replied. "I learned a lot from all the experiences I had. Including this, after all, Mr. Roy has made amends."
"All right," said Jan. "Now I know who my real parents are. We can go home now!"
"When?"
"Yes, I told you, I really just want to know who. That's all."
"Are you not having any other wishes?" my many. "I mean there's nothing you want to look at anymore?"
"There are, actually," replied Jan. "But, given that I can still see my father, I want to quickly return to the future alone."
"All right, then." I opened the control screen. Selecting a column to return us to the future.
Tics.
Our bodies were instantly sucked in a powerful energy. Floating up to the ceiling of the room like a giant vacuum cleaner there. We broke through the hospital roof. Floating in the sky as the scene turned blurry. Light collides. The sound of thunder came along with the hovering sensation we felt.
***
I opened my eyes like I was waking up from a dream. I was confused for a moment. Looking at the quiet surroundings. Realizing that I was sitting in a quiet room with all my limbs tied to a device on the chair I was sitting in. Back in the future.
Laboratory. That's where we are now. The room that sunyinya immeasurable. For a moment I felt a refresher in the sense of hearing, because of the contrasting atmosphere. A few minutes ago we were in the past, full of noise and blue, now in this room it all disappeared instantly. There were only the three of us here, me, Jan, and silence. However, we did not want to waste time lingering, deftly immediately I removed the attributes in this time machine seat one by one. Jan is like that.
As soon as I got off the chair, I hurriedly switched to the control table. Set up some programs on the parent computer. Disable anything that was on. Once I'm done, then Jan's done with the chair.
With the footsteps of our shoes heard, we left the silent room. Out of the great hall of the building. Outside, we again met the officer who was on guard. Greeting them kindly, before finally Jan's Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 took me out of the parking area and drove on the street.
Towards a definite goal that Jan no longer needs to say, because I can guess with absolute confidence. That our next destination is, the city. Where is Jan's biological father and my adoptive father. Mr. Roy.
