After Two Decades

After Two Decades
Tell me

I sat with my body weak. My chest feels so hot again. It rumbled with all the sense of being like a bubbling sea wave. I almost went berserk again if Jan didn't hold me back.

I looked up at the sky. As if to shout at God, What the hell is this? but not a word came out of my mouth. My hands are clenched, my jaw is hardened. All over my body was attacked with indignation that I could not contain. All I could think of was, here I really could not touch that person, but not if I went back to the future.

Immediately anger filled my whole soul.

"We go home now" I said as I opened the control screen in the palm of the hand. Choose a column to take us back to the future.

"Eh, Ren wait a minute, later .... Uhh!"

Jan did not finish speaking. Our bodies first sucked into the air like a tornado. The air, sky, and cityscape instantly swirled around us. Slowly fade away changing dazzling light. The voice becomes silent. I felt like I was missing form so it floated off balance in a vacuum. I felt a sensation like my body was being pushed by such a powerful force that it shot out like lightning. The light glittering around made the eyes blink.

Suddenly my body was hard stiff. The arm can't be put out. My feet can't move. My body was wrapped in something so strong it couldn't move. Only the head I can allow. The light around slowly rotated and faded. It turned into a scene of thousands of pairs of eyes staring tensely at me. Every angle I looked at, everyone focused on watching me. The boisterous sound in the auditorium was again clearly heard in the ears. I gathered awareness.

One second later, I remembered what I had seen in the past. Then at once I removed the helmet from the head in a hurry. I took off the gloves. The cables or devices attached to my body are pulled tightly until they come off. I did everything in a hurry and carelessly without caring about damaging this device. The scientist next to me was a little surprised, he took the initiative to help, but I brushed his hand aside violently. He just looked astonished. As soon as all the wires, sheaths, and any devices attached to me were removed, I soared from my seat like one being chased by demons. I immediately left the device of the Gate of the Past with my face folded.

I don't care if people look at me weirdly, or if the host coming over brings me a microphone to tell stories. I rudely and disrespectfully ignored them, just passing by without further ado. They called out in confusion, I don't care one bit. I hurriedly stepped down from the stage and arrived at the front row. For a moment my eyes swept across the line, the people sitting there stared back in wonder. Almost everyone became quiet. At first they were enthusiastic to see my return, but suddenly gawked at my strange behavior. Started whispering and muttering.

From the front row of the audience, I started running to the side of the room. Turn backstage where the crew and performers are. I hastily broke through the crowd of crew, organizers, and anyone else there who blocked my path. Everyone put on astonished faces, each wanted to ask but none of it I was concerned about. Arriving in the room, everyone scrambled to talk to me, but none of me served. My eyes glanced sharply, scrutinizing one by one the faces of the people there. The person I was looking for wasn't there either. Where the hell's he going?

"Ren, what's wrong?" someone asked in the midst of my confusion and anger. I looked, it was Hadni. He saw my face clearly and understood that I was really not okay. He asked with great attention. However, I did not have time to be friendly, anger still controlled my head. That's why I didn't answer the question, I asked him exactly where the person I was looking for was.

"So he went back to the office, he said there was something left behind." Hadni answered with a frown as if wondering, why?

I sneered cunningly. Hadni and everyone watching me were getting confused. I didn't think long or weigh twice, I went to that guy.

"Ren, what exactly is ... Where's ren going?" Hadni did not finish asking, I left. Go without greetings, without saying goodbye, or thanks. I broke through the crowd of people who were swarming. I rudely pushed those who tried to get in the way. Forget the manners, I really can't wait. I know they just want to ask questions and talk well, but I don't have time for them. So apart from those curious people, I went straight out through the back door of the room. Get out of the auditorium. From there I ran towards the parking area on the side of the building. In my run, I heard the sound of the door I was exiting was opened. Then there was a sound of footsteps behind me. Someone must have caught up with me in a hurry too. Maybe Jan or Hadni, or maybe that's it. I don't give a shit.

Arriving at the parking lot, I headed straight for my favorite motorcycle. Ride on it and get out of there. Climb onto the highway, then speed away leaving the city's auditorium building with thousands of people in confusion. I used to speed on the streets, but this time it was the highest speed record I had ever achieved without using lightning mode technology. The protocol path also happened to support me today, with the not-so-dense conditions giving me some flexibility. Drive to my place of work, Korp headquarters. Masadepan.

The distance from the auditorium building to the office is not far. Then it was only natural that a few minutes of speeding I had arrived at the destination. I didn't even get into the parking area, I stopped in front of the lobby. I parked the motorcycle there, I was in a hurry to get into the room. Coincidentally the atmosphere of the office was completely deserted, almost all the staff were in the auditorium for our big event. There's no one at all. With a hasty step, I chased after the elevator. A few minutes waiting impatiently, I arrived at the floor I was on.

Getting out of the elevator, I stepped quietly down the corridor. The air feels hot. My steps started to get out of control. At the end of the corridor, I violently broke down the door. Enter the room with a lump of emotion that will soon explode. I closed the door and locked it tightly. Then I saw the old man standing in front of his desk as if he had been waiting for me for a long time. Who else if not Mr. Roy, my own foster father. Which ironically gives the painful fact that he was the man who took my father's life two decades ago. He looked at me with a gloomy face as if he knew what was going to happen. I stared intently at hate. Step by step we are getting closer. And I really can't hold myself back anymore.

"YOU'RE SAVAGE!" My fist finally floated. Stripped the old man's face hard until he staggered to the side and complained.

"Traitor!" I screamed loudly. This time my death hit his chest. He was thrown to the side and fell. His old body was unable to withstand my attack. With a fit of care, I kept coming to him. Forgetting all his goodness, swallowed up by hatred and anger.

The old man lay down complaining of pain, but tried hard to hold everything back. I violently pulled her collar, forcing her to stand up.

"Akk, ... Akh!" Twice my fists pounded on his chest and stomach. He took a few steps back. I completely lost my mind that day, I beat up my own foster father mercilessly. The old man did not fight back. Just dodging not from my attack. He seemed totally resigned to receiving my tantrums.

Brakk, his body was thrown and hit the wall violently. There was not the slightest bit of pity in my heart seeing his old, vulnerable body.

I stood with my breath still hunting and my eyes still staring. Mr. Roy tried to get up by holding onto the wall. Tried to stand up while enduring all the pain.

"WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" I snarl loudly. As I approached, I clutched his collar back. Our faces were very close this time. My eyes were sharp, piercing his gaze.

He's mumbling.

"I lost my childhood with my father, my childhood was ruined." I started to squawk. "I grew up without any biological parents. I miss them every night for years. Two decades of my life went by, only then did I know that my father was murdered. I wailed for days. I swear I'm gonna find my father's killer. I risked my life to save the time machine, so that I could achieve my goal. But what the fuck is all this, huh? We've been a family for years, I've assumed my own father healed the wounds of my loss. However, why exactly did you .. kill my father and I only found out after two decades? WHY, HUH?"

"Son, before, were you satisfied to beat me up?"

I smiled mockingly. With a vibrating voice full of emotion I said again, "TELL ME QUICKLY! WHY ... I had to grow up all these years with my father's own killer?"

"If you're not satisfied beating me, do it again until you're satisfied. After that I'll tell you." Mr. Roy looks so resigned.

"TELL ME, BAJING*N!" I snapped again right in front of his face. "What's my father's fault that he deserved to kill you? WHAT, HUH? Tell me, why did you kill my father?"

"He's not wrong, Ren!" answer the old man. "I was really crazy back then."

I'm silent. The hunting breath held back the anger. Hatred goes up to the crown. My clutches in his collar I let go. If I sort my emotions, I could have taught this old man again to bone fractures. But I started to regain consciousness. For a moment I looked at the door, I saw Hadni and Jan banging on the door. I don't care, I look back at the old man in front of my eyes.

"Come, just beat me up again as you please. Satisfy your anger, Ren!" said it.

I grinned. He said, "Tell me, hurry!"
