A ringtone on his phone stops Herman from searching for Yani. He saw his phone and Nana's name was on it.

Herman again condemned himself for his foolishness. Nana must be in trouble because of her. Nana must have known it from her co-workers at the village hall who had told her the news.

Herman deliberately did not pick up Nana's call even though the woman cheated repeatedly called him. She was afraid that Nana would raise the question of why their secret would be exposed. If he told Nana the truth that he was the one who had broken their relationship with his friends, Nana would surely call herself a fool and curse her.
