"Assynnya!" said Herman who just entered the house.
"Glamma!"
Herman was silent in front of the door when he saw the whereabouts of Nana and Dana in his house. He did not expect if the two men came to visit his house unexpectedly before. Not to mention seeing the trail of tears seen in Nana's eyes made Herman think wondering what was going on.
"What's this?" asked Herman stepped closer to them, then placed the bag of crackles he carried to the floor and sat down beside Yani.
"There's nothing, they just come to visit" replied Yani.
Nana who saw the arrival of Herman immediately moved and sat beside Dana. He felt a little surprised and awkward to see the sudden arrival of Herman.
Herman looked at Dana and Nana in turn, looking at what was happening. "So seriously nothing?" herman asked his wife.
"We're just here to take turns, Bang." Dana replied that Herman did not keep thinking.
"Oh that's it." Herman nodded awkwardly. Then he slightly glanced at Nana who was now erasing the traces of her tears.
'You're just hugging, then why is Nana crying?' inner Herman wondered.
"Well that's it, Ma'am, Bang. We go home first" said Dana then stood up from her seat, followed by Nana.
"Are you going so fast?" ask Herman.
"We're not good at staying home. There will be guests who come when we are not at home" replied Dana.
"Eh, drink the syrup first," said Yani who saw two glasses of drink had not been drunk by them.
Dana and Nana immediately finished the drink and put the empty glass back to the table. Dana extends her hand to Herman and Yani. "Minal aidzin wal faidzin yes, Bang, Ma'am."
"Minal aidzin wal faidzin too, Dan."
Nana also extended her hand. But, when on Herman, Nana did not look at the man's face at all.
"We go home first yes, assalamualaikum!"
"Glamma!"
Yani drives them to the door and sees Dana and Nana coming down the stairs and out of the yard. Yani turned around and tidied up the drink earlier.
"Why did they come here?" ask Herman who still can't believe that Dana and Nana come to his house just a guest.
"This is the day of Eid, so they came the same god of apology" replied Yani.
"Why did Nana kayak abis cry like that?"
Yani was silent for a moment looking at her husband. Then he passed from in front of Herman, saving the empty glass to the kitchen.
"Nana just wanted to apologize here!" yani from the kitchen.
"Sorry?" murmured Herman. "I'm sorry for what?" reply Herman.
"I guess Nana's apologizing to Yani for what, Bang?" yani asked back and sat down next to her husband.
Herman was silent for a moment thinking about his wife's words. Then he looked at Yani who was looking at him waiting for an answer from him.
"Well, Nana why apologize, hmm?" ask Yani again.
Herman scratched his non-itchy head. "Because ... last year's incident?" murmured Herman who remembered the events of the past year.
"Well, that knows! So why did Nana look like she was crying because she admitted her mistake and apologized to me. If I have forgiven him for a long time and do not take revenge on him," explained Yani.
"It's a day of forgiveness. Can not take revenge on others as long as the person has apologized sincerely to us," continued Yani to make Herman nodded awkwardly.
"This what?" yani asked, looking at the bag of black crackles near the table that Herman had just brought.
"Oh, that's rambutan. That's Mr. Denis, " replied Herman.
...~~~...
"Jaga house huh? It's what my grandparents said" Nana told Dinda, her eldest daughter.
"Yes, Ma."
"Mom, sir, we say yes first" Dana told her parents-in-law, kissing their hands.
"Be careful, son. If there is anything there, do not forget to contact us here," Mr. Tanto told Dana.
"Yes, sir."
The three immediately got into the car preparing to leave for the port. Dinda and Aras were willing to let them wander off to the other island. No more tears of sadness lead them because both have been taught sincerely to part temporarily with their parents.
...~~~...
"How, Her? It's almost time for you to leave, you know? If not, then you will just tell your best friend" Denis told Herman by phone.
Herman was silent for a moment and glanced at his wife who was watching television while lying down. "Wait a minute, sir. I asked my wife."
"You haven't asked your wife for permission?"
"Already, Sir. But he gave it time until it was over. Here I want to charge the answer," replied Herman.
"Oh that. Yes, I can't wait much longer. If you can today there is an answer from you."
"Ready, sir."
Tut!
The connection is turned off, then Herman walks over to Yani. "Mom."
"Hem?"
"What about my answer?" ask Herman.
Yani changed her position which was tilted to the right directly on her back to look at her husband. "What answer?"
"Answers about the father can take the project to Kalimantan."
Yani fell silent, thinking about the licensing of her husband who wants to take the toll road project in Kalimantan. Yani is made to forget the answer to give permission for Herman after the Eid al-Fithri holiday.
"Are you sure you want to go there?" tanya Yani wanted to know her husband's answer.
"Yes, the children have also received permission from their wives. You don't feel good about them if your own father can't be allowed to be with mom."
"Father went alone or the other?"
"Just like the father team. But, the father's friend who had another team also got permission from his wife to leave. So automatically there are two teams that will go there" replied Herman.
"Well, if you want to go, I let you."
Suddenly Herman widened his eyes, surprised to look at Yani. "Seriously mommy's permission to leave?" asked Herman not to believe and be happy.
Yani nodded. "But on condition that you take care of yourself and do not make the same mistake. You know, don't you?"
Herman stared silently at Yani confused. "What mistake?"
"cheating."
"Oh that, I can trust my father if you will not make any more noise there," said Herman trying to convince Yani. The man understood that his wife was afraid to be cheated again. Didn't Herman promise to change and never cheat again? What's there to fear? thought Herman.
"Be careful if macem-macem's there. If you ever mess around, never set foot in this house and never take your kids away from you!" threaten Yani who is not kidding.
"Yes, I won't mess around anymore. The oath!"
If Yani used to hesitate to let Herman go because of Nana. Now the doubt no longer spread to his heart when Nana came to apologize to him. Seeing the eyes and words of Nana who looks sincere makes Yani a little able to forget the mistakes of her cousin. Yani will not have to fear again if Nana meets Herman there again because she believes Nana will not be able to be tempted again with her husband. Yani is convinced that Nana and Herman have changed and will no longer do the same thing to hurt their families. Yani is sure of that.
