Chapter 100: Killing Mutant Zombies
Although he can use various weapons because of the training he has been doing so far, but still a little difficulty in attacking when using two heavy swords and different dimensions.
Natan braved the Zombie Wave without any fear, though he knew the risk he received if his blood was reduced to some extent, which would turn him into a Zombie.
Wush! Wush! Wush!
Several Lickers attacked him simultaneously, his long tongue looking thick like an arm, yet jagged and extremely sharp.
Natan leapt away avoiding the directed attacks on both of his legs, but there was another attack aimed squarely at his head. He who was still a little jump, lowered his head, then used the sword in his right hand to stab into the streets, making him rest in order to turn.
Natan landed in a crouching position, whose right leg was perpendicular to the side. He looked up at the approaching Monster Waves, only a dozen meters left before finally arriving.
He pulled out the sword that stuck in the ground while kneeling with one of his knees touching the road. He turned his two swords around, cutting off all the tongues that had attacked him earlier.
"Goh!" Lickers screamed loudly as their tongues had been cut off by Natan's sword.
From within the ranks of the Zombie Waves, Natan saw the existence of a Mutant Zombie that looked still the same as a human, only there was an additional part under his arm, or on his back.
The three Mutant Zombies shot sharply towards Natan who leapt back.
Natan glanced swiftly at the three Mutant Zombies that were dispersing in different directions. Without further ado, he crossed the Black Katana behind his back and the Dragon Sword in front of him.
Bang out!
Quite a loud bang occurred when two attacks from the front and back hit the sword. But it was not the end, because there was another who attacked him from above.
Natan swung both Dragon Sword and Black Katana simultaneously, distancing the two monsters that attacked him from two different directions. He stepped back as he turned around, slashing the neck of the Mutant Zombie behind him which lost its balance.
The level of monsters that attacked him was not very high, even if high, the highest was only level 390. He could defeat him easily, but he still had to be careful because of the numbers.
Booms!
The Mutant Zombie that attacked him from above had already landed in front of him. His body was quite large, twice the size of an adult, with his tongue sticking out.
"Too close." Natan again leapt back dozens of meters to the rear, keeping a distance from the Zombie Waves.
At the very least, he had to kill the Mutant Zombies and Lickers first before crashing. However, the monster in front of him that was large did not let him go, including the other monsters that he had previously pushed away.
Just retreating away, from behind him was already a female Mutant Zombie wearing open clothes. His fingernails were very long and sharp like swords.
Natan glanced to the back right looking at the monster that was ready to attack him. He crossed his two swords in his right, resisting the attacks from sharp hooves like a sword.
Klang's!
A clash like two metals clashing against each other sounded when the attack of the Mutant Zombie managed to hold Natan well.
Natan did not stop there when he managed to withstand the attack, as well as another Mutant Zombie in front of him ready to jump towards him. Without thinking too long and taking action, he knelt down then did a back sweep movement, dispelling the female Mutant Zombie balance and knocking it down.
"Groan!" The Mutant Zombie shouted out loudly ordering the other Zombies to attack.
Natan who had managed to take down the female Mutant Zombie, immediately stood up while slashing her neck with both of her swords. He stood staring at the Mutant Zombie named Qin Lang. "You're all that's left."
Qin Lang grinned widely, revealing his sharp teeth like shark teeth with dripping blood. His four hands twitched with muscles that looked very clear, and there was a worm-like wriggling on his back.
Natan who was staring at Qin Lang, raised his hand and crossed his sword behind his back, resisting the attack from the Lickers. "You'd rather be a monster than die?"
Qin Lang was stunned for a moment, then laughed out loud with amen blood rushing from within his mouth. "Haha! Don't be arrogant for successfully killing two of us! You should be thankful that I held back the Zombie Wave to not directly kill you!"
Natan looked back, looking at the Zombie Waves that did not move anymore and only a few meters left of him. This is very dangerous if he sinks in the middle there and is unable to rise again, it is certain that he will be killed or the worst to be a Zombie itself.
"Shadow Movement."
Qin Lang turned back while swinging both of his right hands towards Natan. "You think I didn't notice!"
Natan was holding back Qin Lang's not-so-strong attacks due to their two enormous level differences. When the sword in his right hand managed to resist the attack, he swung the Black Katana that was in his left hand.
A slash! A slash!
Two hands just cut off like soft butter.
Qin Lang widened his eyes when he realized that his two hands had been cut off without him knowing, because he himself could not feel the pain. But, the next second he clamored feeling the torment from his back, his body also continued to wriggle.
"Aarrrgghh!"
Natan who had already slashed a worm as big as a snake inside Qin Lang's back, turned back away, standing on the wall looking at Qin Lang who was in pain. "Our levels are far different, and I have experience, unlike you who gave up being human and being a monster."
Qin Lang's body continued to wriggle and grew bigger, many lumps on his hands and feet. Before long, his body was up to four times its initial size.
Booms!
Qin Lang simply exploded into minced meat that spread out in all directions, with blood spurting out. At the pool of blood where Qin Lang exploded, there was a huge worm that twitched towards one of the monsters nearby.
Wush!
The worm darted towards Lickers.
Nathan, seeing that, did not let him go to look for a new body that could be controlled. He took out the Mana Pistol, and continued firing bullets until the worm was destroyed unable to move anymore.
At that instant, the Zombie Waves that had previously stopped, lined up neatly, began to move wildly in all directions and there were even those that attacked each other, as well as others, especially Lickers who started killing zombies to eat their heads.
"So ..." Natan nodded her head after understanding about one of the Mutant Zombie powers. "He can control monsters, not just Zombies and Zombie Soldiers, but also Lickers."
"Well..." Natan opened her mouth while massaging her forehead as all the monsters in front of her looked back at her. "I forgot if they're so sensitive to sound."
Natan picks up a hand grenade, pulls its guard and throws it in the middle of the Zombie Wave. "Reduce the other half so I can kill him easier."
Wush!
Lickers unleashed another strike at Natan's feet, but his attack missed and stuck to a concrete wall. The lickers lunged towards Natan while releasing his piercing tongue.
Natan lowered her head looking at Lickers who shot like an arrow towards her. "Sucks." He took out the Sniper Rifle from the Inventory List. "Dead." He pulled the trigger.
Dorr!
Mana bullets shot towards the Lickers, who instantly killed him in a single shot.
Booms!
The grenade he threw exploded violently with soaring flames, starting to spread and burn the monsters that were all around. Black smoke also spread when exposed to the wind, blowing away the foul scent.
Natan looked at Mapping to see how many more monsters were left. "Only half are left, they are killed by explosions, burning and killing each other." He kept the Black Katana, replaced it with the Assault Rifle.
The Assault Rifle that he used was not one that had already been altered using the Magic Core. This is a real weapon with gunpowder ammunition. He deliberately used the unaltered, because there was pressure when shooting him, which made his DEX will increase when changing ammunition, unlike Sako TRG Mana which has no repulsion when pulling the trigger.
"I still have two thousand ammo, this is more than enough to deal with the remaining monsters." Natan jumped down from the concrete wall, facing the remaining Zombie Waves.
