Apocalypse Monster

Apocalypse Monster
Chapter 137: The Alexander Mansion

Breath of Natan gasping for breath, feeling fatigue, anger. He was very tired of having to avoid the barrage of octopuses, and was angry at losing the Skeleton Fire Dragon which was very difficult to find in a season like this. At least, have to wait for summer to get it back, and of course with different difficulties.

"How much longer?"

Adrian managed to catch his breath while sitting leaning against the roof barrier in a tall building. He looked at Nathan, who was stretched out with his legs and arms outstretched like a starfish. "Two hours by car, Alexander's family is in London."

Natan pondered for a moment before replying, "Should we leave now?—"

Boom up!

Nathan got up when he heard the sound of an explosion. He ran to the edge and could see thick smoke rising. When looking at where the source was from, he could see several tanks marching, shooting out parts of the ocean.

In the sea itself, around the harbor, there are fish that walk on land carrying a blue trident-shaped spear. The fish was about three meters tall, having legs and hands like humans.

"Military still acting?" Natan had long since seen other humans fighting monsters, either because there were no humans nearby, or because he himself was too lazy to join them and chose to find a detour.

"Do I have to take the usual path? No need to avoid humans anymore?"

Natan thought about it for quite a while, and the reason why it was always avoided, was because at the very beginning of World Destruction. At that time he was targeted by a group of students who wanted to kill him, and until then he was not easy to believe.

Natan shook his head. "Don't think about it just yet, for now I'm going to London and meet Alexander's family. But, after that what?"

Adrian hears Nathan grumbling, but remains silent, not wanting to mess with his nephew's mind.

Nathan turned to look at Adrian who was still leaning. "Uncle, let's go now. We can get to twenty minutes."

Adrian flinched with a wide smile. Finally, what he was waiting for came as well. "Okay, let's go now."

Natan takes out the Bee Knight and jumps on it with Adrian. It then flew at full speed towards the northwest.

While flying in the sky, Natan looked down, finding that many buildings were still standing and the military was still acting as it should be, they still helped to exterminate the monsters even after half a year and certainly had difficulty providing ammunition.

"The smaller the population, the fewer monsters that attack. As such, the Armonia Guild had always gotten a lot of attacks from monsters, even though it all ended in absolute victory."

"But will the rules always be the same? Perhaps, after the winter changed, the British completely disappeared because of the monsters."

Natan thought that many sea monsters were still stuck in the frozen sea, and after melting, of course, more monsters would come, especially after the monster level increase because six months had passed, and of course the Guard ran out of strength to defend the gate that connects the Monster Ancestors with Earth.

Time went on and finally Adrian exclaimed, "There!"

Natan turned his gaze in the direction pointed, there was a building like a mansion that was wider than the mansion in Surabaya City as he searched for firearms, and the grounds were also wider, as well, with walls reaching ten meters and a lot of surveillance cameras.

"There's such a building in a crowded city?" muttered Natan. But he did not think too much about it and went straight into the grounds filled with trees, this was like a forest garden built within the walls.

As they flew over it, suddenly there was an alarm like a fire alarm, the sound was very loud and disturbing.

Natan accelerated his flight and descended slowly in front of the mansion which had four floors. He could see many people aiming firearms at the roof, there were even RPGs.

"Wait!" Adrian shouted and stepped forward to the front of the Bee Knight. "I'm Adrian Alexander!"

"Adrian?" The older man from Adrian, raised his eyebrows. He wore black clothes with white gloves, various military trinkets attached to his coat.

Adrian jumps down from Kstaria Bee, landing on a floor-shaped roof. "How are you, Brother? It's been a long time."

Addison Alexander is his name. He stepped up with a foot, then hit Adrian in the stomach. "Where have you been? Why just came back? We thought you were dead out there!"

Adrian coughed while holding his stomach, then looked up at Addison. "You never change, brother. Still rough as always."

White-haired old woman, wearing white casual clothes. His skin looks tight, even though he is very old. He looked at Adrian with tears dripping down, then his gaze diverted at the young man above the Knight Bee.

"Who is he?" ask an old woman named Glenda Alexander. At first there was no Alexander, but because he married the Alexander family, of course the name he brought changed.

Adrian smiled thinly, then went to a woman his age, his hair was brown with blue eyes, wearing pink trousers and a white top. "I'm back."

The woman cried, ran to hug Adrian.

Another woman whose appearance is not much different, only her hair is blonde. "Dad!"

Glenda walked with limping steps. "A-Are you really my grandson? Little Prince?"

Nathan flinched, then smiled faintly. Pangeran Kecil is a nickname given by his grandmother during a visit to Indonesia. He didn't expect to hear it again.

Natan jumped down from Kstaria Bee, landing in front of Glenda. "It's me, Grandma."

Glenda let out tears flowing down her cheeks, tightly hugging Natan.

Addison approached Natan and observed closely, then his hand slipped into his pants pocket, taking a small book of photographs. "Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan ..."

Addison shifted his gaze many times between the photo and Natan. "You really are Nathan!"

Natan was speechless in Glenda's arms. Do I have to do that? It took ten minutes to recognize your own nephew?

Barnard Alexander, a white-haired old man wearing a black suit, his skin slightly wrinkled, but was already in his seventies. "Where's your mom's Brian—?"

Glenda let go of her embrace, looking at Natan to wait for an answer.

Feeling something was wrong, Barnard raised his hand, asking dozens of armed men to leave them. When everything was gone, Barnard asked the same question again.

Natan took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. Although he was ready, but every time he got such a question, he would always remember the events of a dozen years ago and it made him sad.

After catching his breath, Natan explained everything, like explaining it to Adrian.

Adrian also explained about his meeting with Natan on the border between Russia and China.

Glenda hugged Natan tightly again, and cried even harder. Crying between sadness over the loss of his daughter, and the life of his own that Natan lived all this time.

Natan closed his eyes, feeling relieved to know about the family Alexander was looking for after getting information from Anna. But, until now, he was still looking for the whereabouts of Anna who he really wanted to see again.

"Natan, stay here longer."

Everyone was stunned when they heard Adrian speaking.

Glenda held onto Natan's face and said softly, "Where is Natan going? Don't you want to hang out here with us?"

Natan smiled faintly, rubbing the back of Glenda's hand that was on her cheek. "I have to go back to China, my colleagues are waiting there, and I feel, not too safe here. Anyway, it's summer soon, maybe after the ocean melts, the monsters in the ocean will rise and attack."

Addison flinched, then rubbed his chin, thinking of something. "That's right, being here isn't very safe, China is a vast land, it's safer there." He looked up at the Bee Knight, and could not help but ask, "Do you have more of it? How much can you bring?"

Natan looked back, looked at the Bee Knight, then looked at Addison. "I have thirty, one can bring five people. But, I have even more convenient means of transportation."

Addison nodded, then opened his mouth about to speak, but immediately cut Glenda, "No need to discuss that, we better get in, now it's almost night."

At that moment, they all came down from the roof.

Meanwhile, at the corner, there was faintly a woman staring at Natan's back unhappily. It was Brianna Alexander who had been watching Natan secretly after completing his task.
