Chapter 041: The Snow
Due to the explosion that occurred due to the evolution of the Skeleton Knight into a Skeleton Commander, Ayumi and Erina woke up from their deep sleep, then immediately woke up and took their respective equipment to join the battle.
Nathan who saw that couldn't help but laugh, but he also felt guilty. "Sorry, there are no monsters. The sound of the explosion earlier happened due to the evolution of the Skeleton Knight ..." He walked towards both.
"But, since you guys are awake, let's get ready to fight the monsters. I've sensed thousands of monsters have come here provoked by the explosion."
The two stood up and staggered as they were still sleepy, then leaned against the bottom of Natan's chest.
Natan smiled faintly, and allowed the two to go back to sleep. He can face the monsters that surround him with the help of Skeleton Commander, Skeleton Knight and Skeleton Mage.
"It's three o'clock in the morning, you two get some rest. At seven o'clock, you'll wake up to prepare food." Natan covers the bodies of the two with a thick blanket of red, which sleeps using Kuro's stomach as a pillow.
Ayumi and Erina gave a small nod, then went back to sleep with their innocent faces.
Nathan walked out of the room on the third floor. He jumped up onto the roof of the house, and saw a lot of Goblin, Hob-Goblin, Ogre, Zombie, Zombie Soldier monsters.
There were no new monsters, as different as the ones inside the Dungeon. However, he guessed it didn't take long to bring up many different monsters.
Natan brought all the Skeletons to the roof of the house. Then he ordered the 18 Skeletons to disperse in seven different directions, with him alone guarding the west.
Natan crouched down aiming his weapon at the hundreds of monsters in the west direction. "Wait!"
"Why is it getting cold in here?"
Natan turned his head to look at the night sky, and he could see if there was any snow that started to fall slowly. "Snow?!"
It makes no sense for snow to fall in tropical climates, even in highlands. However, what Natan experienced was really real, he saw there was snow falling from the dark night sky.
"Is this because the world is changing? If there is snow, there will be new monsters. Then, many humans died from cold and lack of food supplies."
Natan let out a long breath and shook his head slowly, throwing off the thought of the snow that had started to fall. He refocused on the monsters that ran to the house where he was.
The resulting shot from the Sako TRG Mana caused no sound at all, and there was no need to fear running out of ammunition. His shot was also no pause, so it could fire Mana Bullets at will.
Different in the east direction, there were very loud and earthy explosions, as well as high-rise flames flattening the houses.
In the other direction, which is north, there is an ice storm and some houses are starting to freeze. In the south, a two-story house was destroyed and began to collapse due to the incursions of the Skeleton Commander.
As Natan continued to fire Mana Bullets, there came an extremely excited voice that was no stranger to him.
"Snow!"
Natan frowned, and lowered her head looking at the third-floor balcony. He could see Ayumi and Erina excitedly raising both hands and looking happy expressions on their faces.
"Don't eat, it's dirty!" Natan slightly shouted as she looked at Ayumi who was about to put a snow fist into her mouth.
Ayumi stopped the movement of her hand and slightly glanced at Natan, then she lowered her right hand slowly, throwing out a snow fist.
"The snow is dirty with dust, and there is blood there. If you really want to try the snow, try to be at a very high place."
Ayumi looked up to show a bright face, then pointed her hands in front of the floor balcony. "Earth Wall!"
The earth wall was created from the depths of the ground and continued to rise, thus blocking the view of Natan who was shooting monsters.
Natan who was looking at the wall in front of him started to feel regret for giving the advice. Finally, he stored his weapon and let the Skeleton kill all the monsters.
Erina, Vely and Kuro also rose to the top of the earthen wall through the circular tree root, the root created from Erina's magic.
Natan who was already on the wall of the ground approached Ayumi, and pinched both of her cheeks from behind. "Your brother is trying to kill a monster, and you're getting in the way."
Ayumi just kept quiet not replying to Nathan's words and chuckled, like there was no burden at all.
Vely took out a bowl and sugar syrup from within the Inventory Guild discreetly, then took out the clean snow that was in front of him. He never went abroad, which is why he was very enthusiastic despite trying to keep his interest hidden.
Natan looked up when he sensed danger. Although it was very dark, he could see it clearly. There was a five meter tall monster, had a gorilla-like face with a sharp pull, and white fur covering the entire body except for the face and hands.
"Yeti?" Nathan raised his original side, then he twisted his body looking around. Other monsters that usually only existed in the snow began to appear. "Ice Deer? There's even a Mammoth?"
Fortunately they were two kilometers away from where we were, and had yet to realize our whereabouts.
But still, it's very dangerous. Snow fell at night without any lighting, then strong monsters began to appear.
Natan looked down at the mature woman and two young girls sitting down eating snow with sugar syrup. "You guys, monsters are starting to come. Do not let you relax your vigilance just because of the snow," he said slowly.
The three stopped their snow-eating actions, then took their respective gear to get ready to fight the monsters.
The first thing to do was create a Magic Barrier, and increase their footing to be higher than before.
They did not need to worry about the cold temperature, because with the current level, they could withstand it.
Vely held a golden-coloured Magic Wand with a white crystal at the top. He placed his magic wand in front of him. "Assize! She was! Glare!"
A blue-colored mana shot out from within his body, and turned into a transparent white color that fused with the surrounding air. The mana spread out in all directions very quickly, forming a transparent white ring.
When the white ring had already spread to a certain distance, the Mana began to explode and reduce the Health Point of all the monsters that entered within a radius of 100 meters from it.
The damage resulting from the three attacks was 40,500 Points, and there was an additional 2700 Points each second, which lasted for 30 seconds.
Nathan went to the Yeti in the west by himself. As well as the others, they split into three other directions, accompanied by the Skeleton Knight as well as Kuro.
Natan is not too worried about Ayumi and Erina who have a high level. Because of that, Vely was accompanied by a Skeleton Knight with more numbers than the others. For himself, he did not bring the Skeleton Knight with him.
Nathan used Stealth, it's been a long time since he last used it. It was because he was no longer alone, so it was extremely rare to use Stealth. If he used it, then his team-mates would be hard to find his whereabouts.
It didn't take long, the distance of two kilometers in just a few jumps had already left him behind the Yeti.
Nathan swung his sword vertically towards the Yeti's back, making a less deep cut. He deliberately lowered the strength of his swing, in order to find out how strong the Yeti was able to withstand the attack.
Yeti screamed in pain as he was struck, and swung his hand back towards Natan.
"Bone Wall."

Natan swung his sword again crosswise, cutting off the Yeti arm used to attack him.
The Yeti again shouted louder than before, and made the surroundings start to freeze into ice-cold.
Nathan pointed his left palm at the Yeti. "Bone Prison."
Dozens of other bones started sticking out from the ground, locking the Yeti in the middle of it. From the appearance of the bone it also causes significant damage.
Natan takes the Sako TRG from his back, and points it at the head of the Yeti. "Increase Shot."
