Apocalypse Monster

Apocalypse Monster
Chapter 005: Finding a Weapon

Natan Alexander managed to evade the attention of the terrifying Chief-Ogre, wielding a huge sword, fangs coming out of the upper and lower jaws, a necklace made of human heads, and a necklace made of human heads, and dark red skin with thick scales on the chest and arms.

"This interface screen is not complete, there is no stamina bar, attack, and deff. So I can't figure out how much damage I can inflict on monsters ..."

"But, since I've managed to level fifteen and gain information on how many points can be recovered in a minute. Then it is likely that at level twenty there will be additional information."

Natan continued to jump from one house to another, until a dozen minutes passed, he was already on the three-meter-high fence, which is the most luxurious house fence in the complex. He could not help his surprise when he saw what was in the yard, either front or side, a lot of monsters were eating human corpses, and there were zombies who were gardeners.

By looking at this, he finally realized that a human who was bitten by a zombie would turn into a zombie.

"There is only one conclusion as to why the complex is so quiet, they become zombies and go to noisy places." Natan often watches movies about zombies, whose senses of sight and smell no longer work, but in contrast to his extraordinary hearing.

Natan opened the cube-shaped Inventory, no more kitchen knives that can be used to attack from a distance. "Wait a minute, I still have the iron chopsticks I got from people's houses. I took it myself, but I didn't think I'd use it like this."

The total monsters that were here were around in their thirties, and the three-meter-high gate had already collapsed, thus making it easier for the other monsters to enter, and most of them are zombies who are workers here.

"Zombie level here between three to ten. Level ten must have been zombies that had a strong physical body while still being human, or had leveled up for killing the most." Natan Alexander thought that monsters also have a leveling system by killing.

Natan looked at the interface screen, checking the rest of his Mana Points if it was enough to use the same capabilities.

"Stealth had already risen to level four, and the amount of Mana usage dropped by six points, and Shadow Step had decreased usage by four Mana points. It seems like the decrease in the use of Mana Point when raising the level depends on its initial use."

"There's a point left around one hundred and fifty, not enough to use Shadow Step."

Natan Alexander stood from a crouching position on the fence, which was covered by shady trees. He threw all three chopsticks towards the low-leveled zombie, which pierced through the zombie's head and killed it in a single strike.

[Getting a Knife Throwing Skill Lv.01 (Passive)

[Skill Throwing Knife. Improving accuracy in throwing knives or other sharp objects, and increasing the level can increase the level of accuracy and attack power, as well as the range of the thrown knife]

Natan is a little surprised, but not for too long and continues to attack the monsters, until he manages to kill all the zombies, leaving only Goblins and Hob-Goblin.

With his weapon broken and the throwing knife and chopsticks depleted, he could not attack the remaining monsters, nor did he want to touch directly using his skin, because when he first killed the Goblin by winding the mine, he felt disgusted.

Currently Natan was in the southern part of a three-story mansion, with an area that could be said to be a palace. After killing the zombies, he decided to go to the western part to enter the house through the back door.

Natan himself used his Detection ability to sense whether there were humans around, but all he felt were monsters. In distinguishing between humans and monsters themselves is from their aura, if the human is a little warm, and the monster is very cold, then if the human is malicious, then the aura is the same as the monster.

Natan did not know if the other humans, who gained this kind of ability also had the same way of detecting.

"As expected of the rich, even his land area for the house alone reached four acres."

Natan ran at a normal speed, not using all the statistics from AGI, so that his stamina did not run out quickly. When he got to the end of the concrete fence, he changed the direction of running to the right and how surprised he was when he saw a lot of zombies who were eating humans behind the fence.

From what he saw, if more than thirty zombies, and continue to grow because of the sound produced when eating humans.

The backyard was also filled with zombie monsters, and the enormous swimming pool was also filled with human corpses. "I've been through this house a lot, but still I don't think with the owner's thoughts, whether he's crazy, land this big and build a house that's like a palace."

The land area is four hectares, or 200 × 200 meters, and the building area is 140 × 140 meters. Of course this is very spacious, and requires a lot of workers to take care of a house this big, which is why it is not strange that many zombies roam here.

"Where I've had enough to move upstairs, I have to kill the zombies and monsters around, then when it's close to the building, I'll use Shadow Step."

Despite saying so, he did not know what to use to kill those monsters. He turned his head to look at the vast courtyard, trying to find a usable weapon, until his gaze focused on one guard lying with an incomplete body.

The guard was wearing black military clothing, and in the belt was a gun. Then at the back of the waist, there was a small black bag, which he thought was a bullet storage area.

Natan suspects that if the monster comes at night, and kills the guard with a single strike, it is known from the gun that is still in the scabbard.

"That means monsters come into this world at midnight, where I'm fast asleep." Natan muttered alone while nodding her head, and rubbed her chin.

Natan descended slowly from the wall of the fence, then stumbled toward the human corpse ten meters away from him. When he got there, he took off the binder and holster, and took out a small bag of ammunition.

Kiyek! Kiyek! Kiyek!

Having just managed to retrieve the gun, its existence was already known by the Goblins and Hob-Goblin, so the zombies also moved towards it.

Natan Alexander retreated a few steps until he almost reached the concrete fence to take a swing, then ran quickly forward while shooting dead Goblin and Hob-Goblin. He jumped using the monster into his footing, then jumped onto the second-floor balcony

"Luckily I went to practice shooting every six months, even though it cost me a lot of money." Natan wiped the sweat that soaked her face with her sleeves.

Meow~

Kuro slipped his head out of the jacket Natan was wearing. Kuro tries to get out of Natan's jacket, then jumps down from the second-floor balcony, going to retrieve the Monster Core lying where the Goblin was killed.

Natan himself did not think Kuro could feel the Monster Core, and indeed all this time he had only given two Monster Core, no more. More surprisingly, Kuro's whereabouts were not known at all and casually ate the 12 Monster Core there.

When Natan was still looking at the interface screen and using Status Points to increase his stats, suddenly Kuro had already come, standing at the balcony divider in front of him.

Natan nodded her head while rubbing her chin with her right hand. The information on the interface screen is getting more and more, and the interface screen is always moving following the movement of his head. Different from before who was just in front of him.

Nathan saw the gun in his left hand, trying to figure out the information.

[Weapon : Gun]

[Gun use adds +5 STR and +5 DEX]

Natan nodded his head, then turned his gaze to the place where he had picked up the gun earlier, seen dozens of zombies were gathering there, and zombies from outside the walls were also trying to climb it.

Nathan turned around, looking at the twin doors made of glass. He turned back and stood on the balcony, then jumped from the second floor which was quite high. When he jumped, he turned his gaze to the shadow on the third floor, and activated the ability to switch places.

Nathan turned into a black shadow that moved very quickly, then fused into the shadow on the third floor wall. He who was there descended slowly using Stealth, to reduce the sound when descending from a height.

"It's better to start from the top floor."
