Chapter 015: Modifying Weapons

The three of them were on top of the ten-story building, observing the street from there carefully. Lots of monsters of various sizes, Ogre, Orc, and of course Goblin.

The monsters of different races seem to get along, very different like the monsters in the story, which will usually attack each other. It was all like there was one more powerful monster controlling them all, who would later rule the entire city.

"With that many monsters and his level, I can only raise a few levels. It's just, like there's a powerful monster lurking in the dark."

Natan took the Sako TRG hanging from his back, then targeted the monsters felt as leaders, and of course with a high level, higher than the monsters he had encountered so far.

Natan does not know why the language in the system interface is not fixed for one language only, but a mixture like this.

Natan stands on Kuro's back while using Shadow Step to sink both of his legs on Kuro's back, then he can shoot freely without fear of falling from there.

Ayumi leaped off the top of Kuro who was still running fast, then she unleashed her attack. "Fire Ball!"

Fireballs appeared on both palms of Ayumi, then she threw them alternately towards the tents of dull brown cloth.

Woshis! Woshis!

The tents started burning due to the attack from Ayumi, along with the Goblin's blood significantly reduced and killed him slowly.

Natan who saw that was a little worried about the state of Ayumi who jumped like that. He never expected Ayumi who was submissive and very afraid of height and speed even took such actions.

"Shadow Step." Natan focused her gaze on Ayumi's shadow and moved there.

Kuro roared loudly, then leaped into the middle between the three different monster headquarters, attracting the attention of all of them. He raised his front right leg, then stomped his foot on the paved road. Suddenly the shadow under his feet began to move, and spread out like a rapidly growing tree root.

That tree-root-like shadow started to bind all the monsters within a thirty-meter radius of him, and slowly killed him.

Natan who was in the distance took advantage of the opportunity well, he shot one by one the monsters that existed with his sniper. Until the moment the ammunition in the magazine had been exhausted, he turned his weapon into a Lightning Spear.

Natan jumped from her place next to Ayumi who kept throwing fireballs. Then he landed in the middle of the Orc siege. From his jump and landing earlier created a hole in the road with a large crack, he raised a spear and twirled it.

Natan pulled her right leg back and turned around, then thrust her spear into the green Ogre chest. "Death." Lightning re-emerged from the spear, destroying Ogre's body.

After killing all the Orcs and Ogres that attacked him earlier, he moved to the Ogre headquarters where Kuro was on a rampage. As for the Goblin Camp, he allowed Ayumi to spend it, and of course he kept watching it from a distance.

Natan who had already arrived there instantly bent his body, dodging the swing of the wooden stick that came from the Ogre attack in front of him. He crouched down as he twisted his body and swung the spear, splitting the two Ogres.

He swung his spear slashing at Ogre's neck, or blew it up by emitting lightning from the spear.

The bullet shot very fast, passing over Ayumi's head and detonating Ogre who was about to attack Ayumi.

Tens of minutes later, the three monster headquarters had been exhausted they destroyed and killed them all. There were countless Monster Core, Wood Sticks as big as tree trunks, as well as Orc Meat lying on the streets as Iten Drop.

Natan raised his level to 119 from 110, Ayumi from 26 to 64, and Kuro from 50 to 78. The number of Point Exp from monsters was enormous, considering their levels were above 20, and Item Drop was also quite satisfying and could be sold at a high price.

All of those Monster Core emitted a bright red glow, and slowly turned into a purple color. When the light dimmed, it looked like the previously numerous Monster Core turned into two pieces and turned purple.

Natan who saw that was shocked when she got new information, the previously Low quality Monster Core became Intermediate quality.

Ayumi gave a small laugh and did not stop there. He held a sniper magazine in his right hand, and an Intermediate-quality Monster Core in his left. Then he closed his hands to each other. "Big!"

Both of Ayumi's hands emitted a red glow which was the Mana of Job Blacksmith. The light did not disappear for a long time. It was only when ten minutes passed that Ayumi opened both of her hands, revealing a magazine whose contents had turned into a Monster Core.

Ayumi takes the sniper on Nathan's right and the gun on Natan's thigh. He made significant changes to the two weapons, which made Natan just silently astonished not to understand what he was doing.

This change didn't take long, just two minutes for the sniper and a dozen seconds for the gun.

"Sister, it's done. Try putting a magazine on the gun, and shoot directly." Ayumi handed over two magazines to Natan.

Natan received the two magazines, and put them in the gun. Without lingering any longer, he pulled the trigger, making him feel like there was energy in his body being sucked out.
