Three blue lights appeared outside the Dungeon Tower, and when the light dimmed, it saw its true figure.
Natan blinked his eyes many times, still not used to this kind of displacement where the light would shine brightly in his eyes.
When his vision had improved, he saw a blue sky with white clouds. Fresh air blew, making him feel a comfortable feeling.
"I don't know what happened when we were in the Dungeon Tower. But it should be, it's a good thing."
"Welcome home."
Natan was startled while taking a step back when she saw Ainsley who suddenly appeared in front of her. Ainsley no longer wore the black coat that covered her, revealing her perfect beauty.
"You—"
Ainsley used her index finger to cover Natan's lips. "Now, leave the World's Storage to me. I want to use the Central Region for the Elf Race to stay."
"Whatever else, I'll explain it tonight." Ainsley blinked one eye.
Natan hands over the Storage World, and after Ainsley picks it up, Ainsley disappears.
He sighed while shaking his head. He could guess what Ainsley wanted now, which was to put the Elf Race Region in the middle of Chengdu City. He himself did not bother about it, because after all Ainsley could act like this, then had obtained permission from his mother.
Even if Natan was the owner, he would still seek advice from his mother who really knew Ainsley.
Natan rubbed the heads of Ayumi and Erina. "Sweet sisters, do you want to go straight home, or take a walk first?"
Ayumi and Erina looked at each other, then shook her head.
"Let's want to go back, there's a lot of things to do in the Tool and Magic Department."
"Yes! Erina also had to go to the Potion and Drug Department." Despite not having Alchemy abilities, Erina always wanted to learn new things.
"All right." Natan nodded her head, then took them straight by teleporting to Armonia City.
Seeing the changing scenery around, Ayumi and Erina bailed, then went in two opposite directions.
Natan stood for a while looking at the two until they disappeared from her sight, then she turned into a shadow that moved from one shadow to another in order to avoid being noticed.
Until he arrived at the Armonia Palace, no one noticed him, except one person, Brianna who was standing on the second-floor balcony.
Brianna already knew Natan's arrival, but didn't say hello. He simply shook his head, smiling warmly at the incoming son silently.
Returning to Natan, he had already arrived at the doorstep of the office. Without knocking on the door, he immediately opened it, he saw Vely who was sitting on the chair behind the desk with a pile of documents on the table and there was a laptop that was open.
Vely looked up when he heard the open door, and when he saw Natan, he opened his eyes wide while standing with both hands slamming the table. "Darling!"
Natan smiled faintly, raised her hand and placed her finger on her own lips, signaling for Vely not to be too noisy.
Vely gave a small nod and was silent without sitting down, but when Natan was already sitting on the work chair, she sat on Natan's lap.
Natan hugged Vely's thigh while gently rubbing her belly which began to enlarge. "I'm sorry, I'm giving you all this work."
Vely leaned back, pressing his body against Natan's chest. He reached out his hand as if embracing Natan's neck, and whispered something in her ear. "No problem, I didn't help much when fighting. At the very least, I can help you take care of the others."
Natan gave a small nod, slipped her hand into Vely's shirt, and rubbed her stomach again. "thank you. By the way, what happens when I leave? The sky is back to how it was, was there a big event?"
Vely's expression became serious, he straightened his body, but instead removed the shirt he was wearing to make it easier for Natan to wipe his stomach. "About this, Auntie and Ainsley went to Antarctica to attack the Devil Race. Both of them managed to kill the last Devil, so the sky returned to its original state. But ..."
Natan was stunned to the point of stopping her hand movements. He lowered his head, thinking that trouble kept coming, even though he was not obligated to fight the Demon King, he was still related because his mother helped Ainsley kill Devils in Antarctica.
One year, Natan did not know what level he could reach with that short time.
"To live a quiet life, there are many things to do."
Vely nodded in agreement, but he remained silent without saying anything more.
"Darling, I have to see Mom."
Vely stood up, letting Natan get up.
Natan stood up, tasting Vely's lips as a temporary farewell. Then she walked out of the room, going towards her mother's room upstairs. He returned silently, hiding all of his presence from the others.
Until he reached his mother's room, Natan did not need to knock on the door because he was used to it. Opening the door, she saw her mother sitting on a chair wearing shorts and a white shirt with no sleeves, with a wide neck.
Brianna crossed her right leg on the other leg, holding a glass of wine and shaking it. "Have you come to ask about the Demon King?"
"Yes." Yeah." Nathan answered her while closing the door, then walked over and sat down on the edge of the bed. He looked at his mother and asked, "Mother, until when did all this happen? Can the Earth be peaceful?"
Brianna looked up at Natan. "Is Nathan tired?"
Nathan looked down and clutched his hands above his thighs. "Yes, from the outside it does look happy, has strength, but inside, I'm depressed. I want to be mediocre, but if so, I will be bullied. But if my level is high, I will definitely advance to the front line, even if I refuse it, the Guard will definitely force its will."
Brianna paused for a moment, opened her mouth, but then swallowed back her words. He took a deep breath, then drank all the wine in the glass. He tapped on the table with his finger, his expression looking troubled. After hesitating, he sighed and said, "The top thousand Players, will be sent to the front line."
Natan looked up suddenly with widened eyes. Obviously he did not believe what he heard trying. "What's? Can you say it again?"
Brianna nodded her head, and replied, "Only the top thousand will be sent."
Natan stood up and shouted, "Are the Guardians stupid?! Sending a thousand people?! We humans are very weak, whereas he is the Guard that must guard, but he is defeated! What does it mean to us?!"
Nathan stopped with his mouth open, then sat back down. He slightly bowed, his hands meeting, propping up his forehead. "Mother, I'm sorry for yelling in front of Mom."
Brianna stood up, walked over and stopped in front of Natan. "It's okay, I know. Mother was also angry when she heard it from Ainsley and the Guardians."
Natan looked up at her mother's eyes. "Do other humans on Earth know about this?"
Brianna shakes. "Mother doesn't know, but maybe some of us are aware of this information, and are upset that the person they want to meet has been killed. Perhaps the same person as Mother, who was struggling to meet with her family, leaked this secret."
Brianna rubbed Nathan's head gently. "Try to check the list, is there a change in the level."
Natan nodded, then checked his level. He frowned, seeing that the level difference was too great. Previously, Rank 10 to Rank 11 only differed by 12 Levels. But now, instead of narrowing, the difference was widening, and now it was twice the initial difference.
Brianna felt an inexplicable pain in her heart when she saw a depressed Natan like this. He has to come to Ainsley, make a deal for more players to come to the forefront.
Even though Ainsley and Brianna were in the fight, with the help of 1000 Players, it was not enough to share the burden.
